I keep reading online for the ford 6.0 powerstroke you have to pull the engine to do this

I dont, I remove the transmission to gain access that way, but whatever way you prefer I've done it both ways. Works on 6.0 and 6.4 engines

How did you get the flex plate ring off. I’ve tried prying and heat and it will not budge.
