That line at the beginning from Nero is, in my opinion, Johnny Yong Bosch's best delivered and bone-chilling line of his entire voice acting career. No other line from any other character in fiction has given me genuine chills than the scream of a man who has found his resolve.

As far as I noticed, Nero does not gain any power throughout the game, Dante combines with his father's sword, Vergil eats fruit, but the game does not specify what happens to Nero, and the man grows a new arm, his regeneration level is equal to lizards. It makes me wonder if they injected the lizard's blood into Nero's blood. I think the scenario is bad
But still, this scene looks great, but the play lacks that character development and script. I hope Capcom will deliver a better scenario in DMC6. I hope they don't make weird games that have nothing to do with DMC, like Peak of Combat.

It’s shown in DMC4 that Nero unlocked his Pseudo-Devil Trigger from his will to protect Kyrie. But now he wants to protect Dante & Vergil from killing each other, so that will is what unlocked his Devil Trigger. Sparda’s blood probably properly activated inside of him because of that will to protect the ones he cares about.
