  • The protests in Thailand have grown into a movement against the civic-military junta in power led by the government of Prayut Chan-o-cha. The protestors are demanding constitutional reforms, limiting the powers of the monarchy, a return to democracy and the dismantling of the civic-military government, besides other socio-economic rights.

Tae Vancity Funny how foreigners comment about the government situation in Thailand. which you know nothing about .Why don’t you foreigners look at the US and how democracy hurting the people in the US. Police in the US are beating up on minority.Racism is running high and COVID-19 cases are skyrocketing in the US. People are homeless and unemployed. So before you want to talk about the political situation in Thailand. Why not look at your own country first. And let us Thai deal with our own political problems.

I support Thai protesters and I hate Military Junta type of government who, the generals make themselves rich. The new king is terrible and who always dicking himself. Not many love this king and seldom home in Thailand. They're becoming like Saudi Arabia now. Hope Saudi King will be thrown out next.

The Thai King had his 30 billion USD wealth transferred to his personal wealth account. That 30 billion USD was from Thai tax payers including many already poor Thai citizens. Millions of thai’s are suffering from government elicited poverty. The Thai king is narcissistic and lacks any compassion for the poor. 😡

The U.K. has an excellent relationship with its monarchy and freedom. They keep their history alive but not at the expense of personal liberty. The Thai King is a Leach sucking Thailand’s tax dollars away from poor Thai’s whom need those dollars/baht. 🙏🏽

Thailand’s been a constitutional monarchy since 1932 and it's under the junta-military coup since 2014. The current king is also disconnected from the public & is clearly not as loved (compared to his late father).

LONG LIVE THE KING !!LONG LIVE THE KING !! The potesters are tiny. The most Thai people are happy and respect the govern ment and Monachy. Thailand is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world - Twenty years ago it was considered 'daring' to travel to Thailand. Times have certainly changed. From the majestic five-star hotels in Bangkok to simple beach huts in Koh Samui or Koh Samet, accommodation choices are many. From the stunning plains and hills of the Golden Triangle to the wave-lapped white sand beaches of Phuket, Samui and Krabi, the kingdom radiates beauty. Thailand has so much to offer that one visit is never enough - you'll want to come back and discover more time after time.
