I was fairly late to this album after checking out S/T and Iowa, but even if I haven’t listened to the whole album, WANYK is shaping up to be an incredible experience. I love the emphasis on atmosphere, and they still have that intensity they had in the old days, and that’s shown off in Critical Darling, Solway Firth, and of course this song.

One of his things before was to jump head first into a metal drum, fall over, and start kicking anyone and everyone in the first row. I've been listening to Slipknot since 1999, I stopped after the album "Chapter Gray"... and I don't regret it when I hear that...I can't find the group I loved for 15 years
Great use of shock contrast. The video uses predominantly single-person shots, lots of distorted close ups, through the first 3 minutes, and it builds with the song in increasing blurriness and slowly adding strobing. overall lots of smooth disorienting camera movement... then 3:19 and they lock the camera, go to stark white staging, perfectly clear focus with the emphasis of movement on the entire group in unison. It's a visual contrast that just fucking kicks, and speaks to efficacy of editing and lighting. Helps that the song is equally pummeling.
Fck Slipknot, Joey did everything for the band never cared for him, they used him when he was useful the moment he got sick he was kicked out of the band. Sick human being man.
As a guitarist I love the way they can make the guitar sound it’s own story and make a corrupted sound and feeling to the song. It really amazes me and adds so much effect to the song it makes the song much more than a song, but a piece of art.

@@brandonboren2492 definitely. They don't fake anything. Hell they used to set themselves on fire before performances. Clown especially. One of his things before was to jump head first into a metal drum, fall over, and start kicking anyone and everyone in the first row. Stopped doing it after he almost died cause it was slightly filled with water and he got stuck

I think this is most powerful moment of this whole clip

it gives such a 2000's music clips vibes
Great use of shock contrast. The video uses predominantly single-person shots, lots of distorted close ups, through the first 3 minutes, and it builds with the song in increasing blurriness and slowly adding strobing. overall lots of smooth disorienting camera movement... then 3:19 and they lock the camera, go to stark white staging, perfectly clear focus with the emphasis of movement on the entire group in unison. It's a visual contrast that just fucking kicks, and speaks to efficacy of editing and lighting. Helps that the song is equally pummeling.

As a guitarist I love the way they can make the guitar sound it’s own story and make a corrupted sound and feeling to the song. It really amazes me and adds so much effect to the song it makes the song much more than a song, but a piece of art.
