The yellow funnel on the radiator is awesome for purging air from the coolant system after changing a radiator or a hoe or a thermostat etc. Basically any time you get air in the coolant system you need to purge it. The coolant rises to almost the top of teh funnel and once the thermostat opens at 180-200 degrees the coolant will get sucked back into the engine as the air is purged. It's a fantastic tool but for some reason you can't find them at "Autozone" or "Advanced Auto parts" in the states. You have to buy them off a tool truck like Snap On etc. They're not all that expensive either, just a plastic funnel and a few adapters.
These are a production motor made here in New Zealand, they are however made per order on an application basis. If you want to put on in a Midget then it is designed for that, if you want to put on in an 86 its designed for that (sump pan, clearance etc). Synergy is however selling an FT-86 package that is a bolt in/plug in and drive kit. More will be out on Speedhunters, and go like the CRC Synergy Racing facebook page
I had assumed the block, crank, intake plenum and various other parts were all blueprinted and machined basically just for this build. Id love to see the CAD drawings and proof of concept etc.
In English:
362hp@10680rpm
197 ft-lbs@7970
Redlines at 11,000
It's crazy to think that they even made a 515hp version as well :)
@@Sintaj. that's 3 Liter version
Takumi Fujiwara would be happy with this kind of build.
Awesome car, awesome engine, awesome sound :)

Too bad this was recorded with a potato mic.
Lol
11.000 rpm damn
Why does the audio sound like it was recorded with a Potato :'(
Because the sound is too much for whatever camera/mic they have.
How did they combined those engine?
Excellent craftmanship!!!
Although a rotary engine does 9500rpm out of the factory...
Oh wow. I want this so bad.
Awesome!
This engine sounds like a symphony
I need his in my life.
power is RWHP the engine is 2x1200cc hyabusa bike engines tied to a common crank and engine block
+feralfiveB Hayabusas are 1.3 liters. The engine is two zx12 heads and I believe the computer was set to translate to crank hp.
I wonder how many of these things Synergy makes, or if this was just a one-off. I'm interested on the build of the engine.

nic taurao hopefully it costs waaay more than the $70,000 that's mentioned on speedhunters.

So how much does an engine like this cost?
that would be crazy with a DCT
If I wanted to have something like that built who could I talk to?
$100,0000+ engine. being tuned by a 95 IBM computer. fascinating.
pricing starts at $43,000 US Dollars
its the dyno computer no the tuning computer
wow. this some of the worst audio I've heard in years. I wish I could hear what this engine sounded like, but sound recording is really effed up.
damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What engine is this?
Only 70k. When I win the lottery.

Wonder how it would do for drifting
Would be fine for grass-roots and playing about but probably wouldn't have the torque to be used in serious competition.
David Stewart doesn't need that much torque. Revs to 11500rpm so the rear end gearing is 5.15 or so meaning torque to the wheels is insane
sounds like a tweaked ferrari 458
Sounds like an f1 car
Makes alot of noise, and no power, just like a honda civic.
Shut the hell up already
197 pound feet torque... no thank you... all that hp and no torque...
What do you expect from a high revving, low displacement V8? If you want torque then you need a bigger bore and stroke
TheSNStang I know. That's why I'm Building my SN95 stang with a forged internal 03 4 valve that will be boosted.
Zeph Id rather have the gearing and more torque.
+Nick Sandman This is a race car for a short circuit...
:D doesn't mean the engine isn't garbage
