- We've all thought about what kind of Pokemon Game we'd make if we had unlimited power to do so, and that's exactly what this video is all about! I take you guys through my 'Pokemon Dream Game' including how I came up with the idea and the cool (if not somewhat crazy) story I built around it! This isn't meant to be a replacement for my "What If ___ Was A Pokemon Region?" videos (I'm working hard on the next one!), but is a fun spinoff idea that ties into the 'Buddyverse' at large.

Honestly any game that has Giovanni in it somehow. Also, a game that wouldn't handhold and halt your progress every five seconds, nor a rehash of a similar story with barely little changes, or new thrown plot threads that make no sense.

pokemon sun and moon: black panther, because you fight a supertough thug in a cool tribalpunk world where everything is different from how it was in captain america but not really, to be crowned king of everything the light touches
pokemon ultra sun myung moon: dr. strange because you go through portals to fight a monster that devours entire universes
this: avengers endgame/into the spiderverse because you go through all the worlds that the series has taken you through and then fight the monster you fought once before

This is fantastic. THIS is how I would approach the "Go tO eVeRy ReGiOn" thing that some people unrealistically want. Taking bits and pieces of each of them and putting them in a game is such a great idea!

I like the Outlands idea. It seems like it would act as a optional dungeon that starts out low level in accordance to where you would be coming out of Hoenn the first time, but get progressively more challenging with the deepest part having higher level opponents that endgame bosses. This means you would be able to make progress just about every time you visit, but it won't be until the post game that you can explore the deepest depths.
"Our invasion is being invaded." This is a line that needs to have more opportunities to be said. XD
Could also be where you can capture Pokemon to add on your team
Maybe the Outlands would work similarly to Mt.Battle in XD Gale of Darkness, with each area more tougher than the last.

Also, the Team Rocket dimension is "Dimension R0K-3tO," which is "Rocket-O." I don't know what the "13B" in the Kalos of "Dimension Z-13B" is for, but the "Z" represents it being an alternate version of "X" and "Y."

Honestly I wasn't fond of USUM or the Ultra Recon Squad, but this idea might have actually made me interested. You actually made Diantha relevant! Sort of, haha. And Zossie's voice actor in this video was absolutely on point, so huge props to whoever did that.

i think the whole big pokemon war with the ultimate weapon would've been a good alternative idea with the kalos dimension, allowing you to meet the king before/during the time he lost his floette and used the weapon, etc.

Honestly, Archie's goals are less intelligent, because it only helps certain pokemon, and screws humans over.
And now I'm going to sit here and wait for the second video, because I saw the ending clip and dammit I want to know what happens with Zossie.
Here's a theory; Zossie has landed in a dimension where the URS is evil or only the lookalike Zossie herself is evil, we know the URS exists in the other dimension because the AU Zossie is aware of the portal's existence and the grumpy guys name .
You can tell this isn't the original Zossie because her suit has disappeared, or something in the AU caused her to turn out like this.

I LOVED the futuristic Sinoh with Good Guy Cyrus! It's a great alternate story line and it gives a happier ending to a very complex character.

Ideas for my own dimensions.
F3U041 - We arrive in ancient Johto, and are caught in a fued between two warring clans of Samurai, fighting over control of Mahogany Town. You deal with them until things come to a head, and Tin Tower starts to burn, caused by Blacephalon. After defeating UB Burst, we witness the birth of the legendary dogs and the clans put their rivalry aside to help rebuild the town, eventually becoming the monks in Sprout tower.

late reply but, also I know how nintendo likes to be lazy (like Brilliant Diamond) they get to reuse a decent amount of code for this game, and it honestly (for nintendo's eyes) be a complete cash out, while players (at least older ones) get a refreshing version of nostalgia.

Have you ever considered a series of what if you re-made some of the gen games? Like, say, USUM, if you redid it all story, character and setting wise to improve and fix what didn't work.
Oooh! I like that idea! I don't know if I'd ever do a straight up "Re-imagining Ultra Sun/Moon" video, but there's definitely a couple things I'm working on right now that are similar to your idea!
USUM was just an example. I personally wasn't satisfied with those installments, but I'd love to see your interpretation of any gen(s) you feel could have been improved or revamped; involving stories, characters, Legendaries, adding Pokemon, removing certain Pokemon, and so on.
Yeah, I would like to see a re-imaging of Gen 5 that actually addresses N's arguments.

Norman is deshoved, messy beard, has alot of rage in him the commentator stating it looks like he's seen alot of horrors.
Wally's sudden chadness and anger at you even having the pokemon I can see one of two scenarios.
1. She's plain dead and gone, these are dark timelines after all.
2. She blamed herself for her loss so much she gave up pokemon training and disappeard probably only gave up those pokemon and could even be a hermit somewhere on a mountain.
But pokemon are indivisuals of their own, I'm sure swampert wouldn't let her go alone so I'm more drawn towards 1

I love this idea for a lot of reasons. One, as you said, alternate universes are super rad concepts. Definitely a trope that I never get tired of. There’s infinite possibilities! Two, on a more personal level, it reminds me of the fun times I had playing Super Paper Mario with my little brother.
I think my favorite world was the Rocket world. It’s so creepy, but in a real way. Definitely a solid finale to the game. And who can possibly be a better final boss than the OG boss himself? The flooded Hoenn had some great visuals to it. Although the tragedy of the situation is sad, it opens up a bunch of interesting characterization roads, as you showed off. Always love a good Berserk appearance. That was such a clever idea. Though thinking more about Sigurd’s final team makes me worried about what he did to his starter. Definitely nothing good.
The prehistoric world was interesting. The character design for Elesa was amazing. It was a good world to create a better connection with Zossie (so you could RIP OUR HEARTS OUT AT THE END). The Sinnoh region was fascinating. Definitely had the lowest stakes, but I think that’s all right. You shouldn’t put something too intense as the penultimate part of a story. Otherwise the finale could fall flat. Cyrus is one of my favorite bosses, so I think the approach you took to his character was definitely a neat character examination. Like a nature vs nurture thing.
I’d definitely get veeeerrrry distracted by the side quests. 100%
And that ending. Holy sweet biscuits. A storm is coming. A very very neato storm. Though gotta say, Zossie’s dress is very cute.
All of the voice actors did an amazing job. Props to Dulse’s va (for sounding tired but not intelligible), Zossie’s (she had a lot of lines and had to get us to sympathize with her for the ending to have such an impact. A lot of pressure there), and Giovanni’s (chills man).
Can’t wait to see what you make next!
You know I was about to correct you and say that Unova had the lowest stakes, but then I realized that the ancient humans were treating the UB's like gods. Imagine if they stayed that way for all of history. Also, speaking of treating aliens like gods... what happened to Zossie at the end hm? Could be something similar...

I feel like the prehistoric region would need “unaltered“ fossil Pokémon without the rock-typing. (Basically in their original forms)
Also I think the gamepair could be called Pokémon Time & Pokémon Space.
SteamPaul I'm pretty sure this wouldn't work as a normal pokemon game, working much like a mystery dungeon or something, but with regular battles.

I loved this entire video, but not gonna lie, I kinda wished there had been more cameos from your regional videos. Mainly I had hoped that Team Buddy would make more of an appearance. Also, it would've been cool to see more of Team Imperium, Team Noble, or Team Esteta (can you tell I just really love your villains?).
I half expected Antonio to be in the Kanto part instead of Archer. Which actually brought me to the idea of having an adult version of Marco fighting against Team Rocket and his father in that dimension rather than wanting to BE a part of Team Rocket. (Yes, I know my love of this character is borderline annoying.) Along with an adult Silver also fighting against his dad.

I have an another idea of a Kanto postgame trainer: Professor Oak
His team:
Tauros, Exeggutor, Arcanine, Mew, Venusaur and Gyrados
His pokemon would be close to or at level 100
To unlock this fight, complete the postgame events. You will then be notified that the Hoenn pokemon league has been reopened and that all wild pokemon in the league can now be found in the Ultra Outlands. The elite 4 would be Lance, Steven, Cynthia and Red. After defeating the Elite 4, you can face Professor Oak.

When I saw some cavewoman with a Cinccino in the thumbnail, I was excited about what kind of events could have lead to this situation. Upon learning that you would explore different kinds of what-if scenarios for the different regions, my anticipation ramped up. Then I learned that your alternate Unova was simply a prehistoric Unova. While trekking through prehistoric wilderness would be a great opportunity for some great vistas, I found your Unova too disconnected from the events of the original games. The characters are mere references to their game counterparts. Change the region and there would hardly be any difference beside the available Pokémon. It could as well have been prehistoric Johto for all the region matters.
What if instead N had succeeded in his goal of separating people and Pokémon and prevented Ghetsis from rising to power? Skip a few decades and we see Pokémon having reclaimed Unova with humans largely unable to defend themselves without Pokémon at their side. The few humans you meet live in caves in fear and only a few of them have relearned how humans in prehistoric times used to tame and command Pokémon. You would travel through overgrown wilderness and ruined cities on your way to finding the ultra beasts.
That's my proposal anyways.

Seriously though, I love this idea, but the one critisism I have is that the stories of each dimention doesn't really connect. Like, there isn't really much of an overarching conflict that builds up to the final battle.

1. Wally- Dang, what happened to you, kid?! You were such a cinnamon roll before! Was this a result of the Arch Flood or May's not being around anymore? Also, Norman with a beard...okay.
2. I have a feeling I would really not get along well with Team Berserk...(hides my Dratini, my Altaria, and possibly my Charizard). That being said, I wish we had gotten this version of Diantha in the Gen 6 games. I respect this one far more than the one we got.
3. Seeing Hilda, N, Elesa, and Alder as cave people amused me to no end. Especially N. Though Hildegar here is sweet.
4. A good Cyrus working towards Sinnoh's future? Again, can this be canon? I prefer this one to the Cyrus we got.
5. In the picture of the casino environments in Kanto...is that Lance as a bartender I see?! My fave Champion got turned into a bartender in a casino?! Well...at least he looks professional.
6. Sorry, not sorry, but this video makes me want to ship Zossie and Dulce. Dulce, please save her from Team Buddy!
