Nice review of the unit an d it's power bank features but nothing at all in regards to how it charges with the solar panels. I would imagine that would be the most informative thing to know.
Most of these portable solar panel power banks have solar panels with 1.5W each, making it 7.5W total with 5 panels (5V 1.5A). I would guess these could charge the power bank from empty to full in very roughly 13 - 16h
Is the extra bar used as a dust cover when extra panels are not connected? Is the tab on the side cheap plastic that will break if hung up by it? What is the measured output from the solar panels? I don't think I learned anything useful watching this video. :-(
Isn't it logarithmic? i.e. If 1 panel charges in Xhrs, adding a 2nd panel chargers in less than X but more than X/2hrs, adding a 3rd panel will be faster than 2 but the step up will be less than the 2nd panel step and the 4th will be better than 3 but only by an even smaller amount.
I contacted the seller of this product for info and this is what they provided. If the sunlight intensity reaches 25000 LUX, you let the solar panel face the sun for 10 hours. 10 h X1300mA=13000mAh (also guarantee the same light intensity in 10 hours) In this way, it takes 15.38 hours to reach 20000mAh. However, we take sunlight intensity and panel conversion rate into consideration. It means the sunlight intensity are not always reach 25000 LUX within 15.38 hours, so it takes about 18-20 hours from no power to full power. The solar charging speed is not relate to temperature but relate to sunlight intensity.
me too, so what did you end up with? I keep looking at the eceen for light weight and supposed to have a bit of a kick when charging for a 13w 13oz unit
Help! I bought one. My problem is I'm red/green color blind. (color-coded crap SUCKS!). I have it plugged in charging. From the plugin end the four blue? lights are all lit up. Before the one closest to the plugin end was flashing. I unplugged the cord and plugged it back in and now all four lights are lit. The fifth smaller light (also blue to me) is lit. Do you know what all this is telling me? Also is this battery strong enough to change, at least partially, a laptop? Hope this makes sense.
Those blue lights are the battery level, if they are all on its fully charged. Not sure this will charge a laptop. I don't have one capable of connecting to it.
It's not waterproof and you can't set it on a flat Rock if you're climbing mountains there's just so many restrictions for this unit unbelievable it might look impressive but it ain't worth a damn out in the field

@Anders Julius Yea, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for since november myself =)
Nice review of the unit an d it's power bank features but nothing at all in regards to how it charges with the solar panels. I would imagine that would be the most informative thing to know.
But what about the solar panel charging power?
Most of these portable solar panel power banks have solar panels with 1.5W each, making it 7.5W total with 5 panels (5V 1.5A). I would guess these could charge the power bank from empty to full in very roughly 13 - 16h
so how do you charge the bank from the wall then?
Same question as everyone else. How long does it take to charge the power bank, with a single panel and with five panels?
With 5 panels roughly a full day of direct sunlight
@@Maltesaa Thanks.
Can you charge the bank via solar and another device at the same time?
A Solar charger with no solar charging test? BTW, when a device names the port TEPY C, you don't need much more indication about its quality...
does 'type c' have a typo on the case printing? It shows TEPY-C
Dose it charge at 3.0A?
Can it be charged with 220v home electricity not with panel??That's mean two in one option???
Is the extra bar used as a dust cover when extra panels are not connected? Is the tab on the side cheap plastic that will break if hung up by it? What is the measured output from the solar panels? I don't think I learned anything useful watching this video. :-(
does it charge faster because it have extra solar panels?
No
Let's use our brain. Why would they add extra solar panels in fold out if adding extra didn't do anything? What do you think??
@@philmcclenaghan7056 honestly you would think that would be true but the testing prove otherwise.

Very helpful review thank you for being so through I have been wanting one of these for months now.
Thanks for the comment much appreciated!

That time lapse around 5:43 makes him sound like a chipmunk
Can you charge a laptop with this?
No unfortunately you cannot.
@@bobbylow175 Okay thanks Bobby.
Great review of the power bank Geek Street those are very handy
Thanks for the comment much appreciated.
How many watts are the solar panels?

You didn’t test the soap panels
Nice until powerbank is okay. Panels are not good to be used with any other devices. I was hoping you can use solar panels separately.

Very good review.
You can buy the DIY kit of these on ebay
Could u send me a link pls?
@@roelieboy204 you don't want these because if either part goes bad it won't work. Buy a power bank and panels separate.
You should try the other side of that ruler, it's less confusing. 🤣
Lol
Good power bank how much price
Check out the description of the video for the latest prices.
No testing of the real capacity of the "20,000 mAh" battery!!! I have two of these.. the real capacity is like 3000 mAh.

Oh, how do know if your phone has the wireless charging capability?
Steve Smith no it doesn’t mate sense

Thanks for the comment much appreciated!
So.... absolutely no practical reviews or tests on the charging?
This is the most important aspect of the device, otherwise it is just a power bank.
I did try charging on a window sill in direct sun light performance charge was pretty slow even after a week it wasn't full. Hope that helps.
