How could you use this native tool to replace SUB-d paid extension?? Sounds like one could generate several grids and manipulate them to create organic shapes in all directions, scaling and also changing their orientation...?
You CAN get some smooth shapes with the sandbox tools but the whole concept of subdividing like SubD or Artisan do goes way beyond what native tools can accomplish.
