I follow you in Twitter. Great to see Lion take a starting time. You are a great presenter. Loved hearing your voice, your rich vocabulary and your wit.
Thanks Jamie. This was a great talk. The idea of starting daily remote check in meetings in Slack instead of with an audio/video call sounds so nice. As an autistic developer, I find meetings to be the absolute worst part of the job. Thanks for sharing some of your personal experiences too. I need to allow myself to be autistic. I never tell anyone I work with and I get so burned out. Maybe today I'll change that. Anyway, cheers.
I watched it without sound and just read the subtitles. I find it easier to follow when I can do that. I was struck by your statement that websites shouldn't disable their audience (or something like that). You have a unique voice in this world, and I hope it keeps working for you.
Usually it's hard for me to make it through a 40min lecture without breaks (suspected adhd), and especially today I'm sick and I feel like my brain isn't functioning properly. But this talk really got my attention! Jamie's (and Lion's) great sense of humor and real-world examples (big fan of Don Norman) got me through it. I'll be using this talk as a reference material to my thesis about CA, thanks!
1:32 in to the video and you've definitely got my attention!!!! can't wait to see the rest

One of the most inspirational talk / presentation about Accessibility, or inclusion, whatever jargon you are used to. Go watch it!
The best accessibility talk I've listened to so far
