I’m confused. If it has a comb attachment why in some areas did you still use the chase method with the external comb?

When she said "my hair is like lasagna," I thought she was gonna be like "because it's in layers," I didn't expect her to say it's because it's always better the next day 😂😂
If I remember correctly, there is this "straighter" that they use in Japan with UV rays or something like that and steam for deep conditioning as well. Apparently that's how they keep their hair looking so healthy with all the chemicals they use. This reminded me of it. But damn sis hair looking soooooo good.😍
Edit: I'm back from my research and it's called an Ultrsonic infrared hair straightener.
If I remember correctly UV rays aren’t good for our skin and eyes and I search the other day that it can be bad for our hair (regardless of texture) so if someone wanted to try the tool, I’d recommend them not to use it all the time just to be safe 😅

The hair length is making me jealous and hopeful at the same time. I cannot wait for my hair to grown back. I cut is all off basic balled a few months ago and now it’s to my shoulders (well some parts lol)

I have a steam flat iron its sooooo old, but it still works and it is my favorite flat iron. Seeing this one with the built in comb makes me want it. The chase method is the best, but so aggravating!

I love the steampod!! If you straighten often, I would definately recommend it. My ends stay healthier and dont break as fast as with a normal flatiron.

Really good question. It does not get the roots well! I have to do the roots with a normaal flat iron. But i dont mind. The Shine and moisture of the steampod is worth it.
No, the roots i do separately with a normal flat iron. But the steampod gives amazing shine and softness. And it can het the hair super straight!

Wowww girll you said think of how long it takes to starighten my hair. It definitely takes me 4 hrs and on occasions 6! So 1hour and 57 minutes thats dope!!

When I switched to the instyler, my hair straightening time got cut from 2.5 hours to 1 hour, and my hair is about the same length as yours. That comb attachment makes you go through fewer passes

youtube dominican dubious or hair wrap. takes practice but i’ve been doing it since i was 10 lol
I split my hair in half and pull each section to the opposite side (‘x’ shape in back pulling each section towards my forehead). I bend forward so the hair stays while i put on my scarf on (back of the head to front) making sure to cover everything. Then I put on a loose wig cap or wave cap to make sure my hair lays flat in the scarf! This method is 10x faster for me

I have a mixed hair type steampod works amazingly on my hair. It's soft and not greasy and I can run my fingers through it.

I like the product but tbh the results look like how my hair looks after just a blow dry. I’m not sure if it’s going to give that sleek silky smooth look I want when I straighten my hair and my hair is wildly thick and curly.

It normally takes me about 2 hours to flat iron but my hair has gotten longer and I’ve a tight curl pattern so it’ll probably take longer next time
