Your hair tutorials are by far the most professional on TH-cam. You demonstrate each step clearly, the camera angles are always just right, and there are never any unnecessary shenanigans. Also, your voice over method makes for a clean and clear presentation. I've always thought this but regretfully never articulated it in detail. Thank you. ❤
You know this is the first time someone on TH-cam made me feel maybe I can actually do my own hair if I can get tutorials like this. Highly impressed 👏🏾

Why do people click on the dislike botton though? This woman did an amazing job with this butterfly locks and with every other videos she posts,❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I successfully tried this on my 8 year old and it turned out so pretty. She is so happy. I have NEVER braided in hair on my girls. Your video made me want to try. So I went crazy and did all three of my daughters hair in different styles watching your videos. Thank you!
Omg these are beautiful!!! The only thing stopping me was "how do you take them out" but you included that too and I appreciate it so much!! Thanks Kim!! 🥰💕
Even if it was a thumbs down cause the rubber band thing just say that and still give her a thumbs up for the perfection and how well she explained and showed us dang!!! Stop that negative ish. This lady was awesome and you personally dnt even have to use the rubber bands the style and look is bomb
Whoever is reading this, let me tell you how freaking amazing you are today. And omg let's not forget about how beautiful you are on the inside and outside. Keep being the magnificent person that you came here to be.❤❤
Awesome tutorial. I love the way you not only showed how to do the style but started off by showing how to clean the hair. Then you ended it with how to take down the hair. This was the best tutorial I’ve seen. Thank you very much!
I can tell she's been doing her own hair for a long time. The effortless combing and parting is deeply familiar to me. Chicago baby, Roseland!! It used to be so many hair salons it wasn't even funny.. I Love our hair. Intriguing yet beautiful😊😊👏😙🙏💃
Exactly Kim is literally Queenin.. an inspiration the reason I even started doing my own hair. Haven’t been to a salon in 2 years now sis is everything we need a real boss and its amazing to see. I’ve been waiting on this tutorial too!!
I have so much appreciation for how perfectly geometrical each one of those hair sections are. It’s so aesthetically pleasing now uniform and perfect each little box is on her scalp. Also, first video of the channel I have watched and I just want to say she’s extremely pretty!
I appreciate your videos. I live in a rural area with no options for hair care. Between the travel and cost it's not reasonable at all. With your tutorials I am able to give my entire soul love and beauty....and I look cute cute cute!

I love using her tutorials... I have a 16 year old and when her braid stylists isn't available I use her videos to do my daughter's hair and it is very easy... we take our time. Takes me longer, but it looks very nice afterwards and my daughter gets compliments and asked who does her hair and I am no where near a professional. Now believe me I still pay for her to go to her stylists as well because that is easier on my hands and wrist, hahaha... so I am not taking out of the pockets of my stylists, but when I can or have too, like when our stylists was on maternity leave and when she had surgery I had too. I am glad this beautiful woman takes her time and explains clearly in these videos to help. Love them!!
This video was amazing!!! Followed it to the T and my hair looks awesome I’m so in love with it. Even had someone approach me in the store and tell how nice it looked and asked for my stylist info only to be shocked when I told her I did it myself. And so I shared this video with her. Thanks again Queen! 🙏🏽💪🏽
Honestly no matter how you make all your styles easy to do, I always end up struggling and it not coming out looking anything like yours. I love this style.
This has been the easiest way I have seen. I don't like cutting the hair once it's in and then burning it. They stick together and it don't last for me. I love this way.
I have searched TH-cam for a no crochet butterfly loc tutorial. Your hair tutorial is by far the most professional and knowledgeable video I've come across. I appreciate your content, sis! 🙌🏾🧡
How do you get your parts to be so clean and straight😭 I would spend a good 15 mins trying to do an ear to ear part and it comes out looking crooked as hell
Using a metal rat tail comb helps. Like anything with a REALLY fine point so you can get in there and be really precise, moreso than with a standard plastic rat tail. Also, if you do lots of similar styles, you will train your hair and it will be easier to part it on the first go.
I believe this person is very confident about her self she knows what's she's about n she loves herself ,beautifull structure n talent keep up the great job I can't wait to get this look
Best tutorial EVER! I did my locs following this tutorial and I’m soooo pleased with how they came out! Big thanks to you for sharing how to do this! I’ve always been hesitant and turned off by doing hair but this very video got me out the door, to a hair store, and home in the mirror! Unbelievable! I’m ready to do so much more!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your tutorials!! I have watched your tutorials for years!! You are gorgeous and your information, techniques and final projects are always amazing. Flawless!
I'm not an expert at cornrows but agreed to install these for my daughter for a beach trip. It was so easy once I got the hang of the crochet hook (sort of).For the second step it was easier for me to just use my fingers to pull the hair back through the loop and tighten. Her hair is straight, so we used mini hair claw clips to keep the twists from unwinding. They disappeared into the style and she was very pleased. Thanks so much!
You give the best tutorials. You leave nothing out. Other TH-camrs leave out key info sometimes, not intentionally, but they just don’t give the full details. You are so good.
Yours was one of the truly helpful, detailed how-to hair videos I've ever watched. Thanks for including the how long and take out stages of the butterfly loc process in a single, concise treatment!
I love this! Since being stuck in the house, I've taught myself to put passion twists and box braids in my head. I definitely want to try this next! I love the length especially. And you made it look so easy..lol LOVE!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I just asked a friend today to recommend a stylist that does this look and the charge was 250 for shoulder length up to 350 for longer length. Mind you, it's for my 10 year old daughter. Plus they want you to come washed and bring whatever moisturizer you'd like to use. I love supporting people, but 250 is much for my 10yr old hair style. Again, thank you so much for this tutorial.

This was best tutorial I’ve seen, thank you. Sis you a real one for doing the take down method
I been doing these for a while now and I actually like your method better. I was braiding my hair in single plants first and then crocheting the hair In and then wrapping. It takes forever. Your method seems so much quicker.
I just sent your video to my stylist to show her exactly how I want my hair. You did an amazing job. Very beautiful work 🙏🏾🥰
I can honestly say this is the best step by step tutorial and straight to the point. I love it! Such a pretty style on you. Thank you beauty! 🥰
What I appreciate about your video is showing how to take them out. That was a bonus. Much appreciate it.💐
I just heard about these locs yesterday so I'm glad you did a video on this.
Wow! Kim your hair looks so beautiful and you make the process look so effortless 💜
Thanx Sis😘 I'm Afro-Latina, & have in-between hair, and truly tired of being charged outrageous prices hair salons charge just for braiding & basic hairstyles. Gracias a Dios, because of your channel, I'm about to learn how do my OWN hair. Muchas Gracias Sis😘💕💜 💖
