I finally found some fabric that goes with my collection and pallet. I was so excited to find this again. I have made the asymmetrical wrap a few years ago and loved it. Your hard work motivates and give me direction. Watching you is so rewarding and I still see this being a fun wrap to wear in 2020. Thanks so much for sharing it. Jnetti
I love your use of oversized sweaters to make them fit you. Fabric is fabric after all. I've been cutting up second hand sweaters for years and making mittens from them. I really think used clothing is another option that brings the price down to virtually negligible and there is often good quality natural fibers to be found in the thrift stores. Thanks for this.
I can't get over your assymetric wrap. I've been making these and wearing them since September. All my friends are getting them as gifts and are loving them. Love the one your wearing.
Hi there from New Zealand! We don't get your show, but I'm so excited that I found your TH-cam channel. You take the fear out of sewing and empower your viewers to believe they can 'give it a go'!
Hi I some times come to NY to see my nice who is a fabric designer high end. She also has a house in Connecticut that we go to. I was wondering is you have lessons round that area at any time. It would be good if I could combined some lessons when I go to see her at some point. Thanks Gwen UK
We will do a sew a long later in December at lunch time...but the goal when doing live is to get as many ladies watching as possible and for us in the USA, that is not lunchtime, that is evening as many ladies work during the day. Hope that helps...we do record them so you can watch them at your leisure......Peggy
Silhouette Patterns and I do watch them over and over again just without the live interaction - which is a really cool feature (being able to ask questions live)
she tells you in the video variation of asymmetric wrap (th-cam.com/video/Rn9-wPCwWKE/w-d-xo.html) 2 yards x 20", fold in half leave opening of 17" and then stitch the remaining 19" and then hema as desired
A question about the woven rayon yoga skirt: Did you put a zipper in, or is the fabric covering the 2" elastic more shirred to allow access over the hips?
