I just purchased this. I Live Stream lots of Drag Racing from my IPhone. Some cars are extremely loud. Will this kill my sound? Any setting recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks
@@ncpromoder I haven’t figured out how to use it myself yet but there is a way to have it record a second audio channel like 6db down to protect against loud sounds.
I do +6DB on both the Transmitter & Receivers for iPhone. It sounds fantastic once this is corrected for. BTW there is a new software update that allows the Transmitter light to be switched to low & now off... Also, it shuts the Receiver off after 30 mins when not connected to the Transmitter.
Class vid, also guys for quick access you can leave the lightning attachment or USB C attachment on and dock whilst attached, saves your breaking a finger nail tryna get it on and off

noob here... I am thinking of buying this... potentially stupid question... so when using the mic, does that mean the audio is now synced and embedded into the video file on the iPhone? or there will be a process where I need to sync the audio and video files before I start editing?
That one thing about the lightning icon appearing once you insert adapter is what was made the system working on my iPhone for the first after a month as I got the DJI.

Thanks for this. I’ve been having the problem with the volume not being loud enough but also distorting just a little (receiver was at +3, another at +2). Also have to remember to turn my wife’s volume up when we’re doing videos.
***A great upgrade would be to make this with a built in compressor.
Thanks for the comment jason. Yea the DJI mic 2 doesnt have a compressor but with the 32 bit float in the recording you could pump up the volume without the distortion, but would be nice for it to just automatically hear your talking volume and adjust to that.

I want to use them to record podcasts on the go. Would you recommend them for that reason?

It comes with an adapter for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. That’s what I film on and have t had any issues with the 2 together

@@monicawomack1111 yes you can. It will record one speaker to the right channel and the other one to the left as far as I know

omg thankyou so much for the trouble shooting at the start, it wasnt working because it was plugged in. i wanted a dji drone, but after seeing how un user friendly the mics have been ie. no instructions. i dont think i want a drone any more

Great insight, Thx. With the iPhone and attaching the reciever, is it important to see the Confirm w the mic icon with the red line through it when you connect to iphone? I am having issues knowing if its working and its hit or miss when recording.
no matter what gain i choose, there is ALWAYS white ambient noice in the background - even in a relativelyt quiet room. Im using an iphone. Any ideas?

Hi, I just bought the DJI Mic 1TX + 1RX and I'm trying to understand it's connection to the iphone. I've been able to record wirelessly and then plug into my computer and pull the audio. but what if I want to record a video simultaneously off my iphone? it's not letting me connect to bluetooth

I can’t seem to get an answer with this question. Can you plug in the transmitter to your iPhone without taking out of the case? Your phone seems to have a case but I have an OtterBox. Can you tell me if it will fit on the OtterBox? I don’t wanna take my phone out of his case. TY

Basically started using the black magic cup. I do not have an external mind microphone at the moment so I was just wondering how do I control the clipping because it’s appearing to be really loud and flashing in the red zone when I speak is there anything that I can do to sort this problem out please
Are you able to use this mic setup on iPhone and also use Bluetooth headphones to listen to music, like if you want to vlog in the gym will working out?
Do you have two audio lines to work with in post? I hate it when I have to clap into my hands to synchronize the audio with the video in post.

I record golf vlogs. I’m worried about the tripod blowing over and the receiver snapping in my iPhone. Do you know if the receiver can be attached to my iPhone via a 3.5 to lightning adapter wire? This way I can still use the receiver, but I can fix it to the tripod, minimising the risk of it snapping if knocked?

great question, i find that there is a certain finesse you need to pop them off… I usually use bother thumbs to take it off, but it does feel like it could break, but i dont think it will"
Hey! You can leave it connected on and it will still fit down on the charger ! That’s what I do! I leave the iPhone piece connected on and it still goes into the case and will charge

Thx for the question. It only monitors the mics. The iPhone sound doesn’t transmit through it. Hope that has helped thx Danny

Would you say that low-cut might be helpful in blocking out my excessive loud AC unit which permeates the walls of my condo?

I was upset to learn last night that my iPhone 12 Pro with its lightning connector can't make use of stereo recording with this DJI Mic. It feels like I'm not getting to use my device to its full capability. Are there any good workarounds?

One question though. How did you get rid of the background hiss that you get when this mic is connected to an iPhone? As no matter what settings I use, I always get a hiss in the background and after some research, it seems to be a normal thing when this mic is connected via a lightning port because the iPhone only outputs in mono and not stereo.

I'm a newb when it comes to audio. Does the DJI Mic record the audio separately from the iPhone video? Or can you have it it automatically include the DJI Mic audio in the iPhone video so you don't have to add the audio to the video track manually in post? Again I'm a complete newb sorry for the dumb question.

Great question when contacted to your iPhone the sound is recorded in the video so no need to link both tracks up it does it automatically

Question: when using it with your phone (iPhone for me) will the audio recorded with the DJI mic be the audio you hear from the DJI mic when playing back from my phone? Or will I have to extract the audio from the DJI mic and line it up with the video from my iPhone in a program?

@@Evansforrest Hey I ended up figuring it out. Audio is all good. Make sure the receiver is fully plugged to the phone and the headphone icon appears on the volume when you slide down the menu on iphone. Press rec on the mic and you should be good.

I bought the same ones for my DJI osmo pocket 2. My DJI pocket got damaged and they replaced it with a new DJI pocket 2 but now my microphones will not work wit this new camera

I recorded a video on my iPad (9th Generation) a couple nights ago and when I play it back there is no sound. When I connect the mics to the computer there are files with sound there. What could I have done to make that happen?
