Listening, read his written work, the knowledge he has and the calm careful delivery is so rewarding, a sailing legend

I listened to an interview of John by Adam and Khiara on the Millenial Falcon. John Kretschmer is so credible when he speaks; he has important things to say. It's not really even opinion; it's all facts, based upon his experience. What a lovely joy it would be to sail with him; I can't even imagine it. Thanks for the video !

From the mouth of a living sailing legend.... 10:43 in the video "the most overlooked thing in the world for cruisers, and it's so ironic because we are going to "sail around the world" and nobody seems to care about sails." Thank you for sharing this interview!!!!

And, we love our Precision Sails main, spinnaker, and tri-sail!

I had the pleasure of meeting John a year ago at his cruisers boat buying workshop. I watched this video from my boat that he guided me to buy. The sailing starts next spring! Thanks for posting!

That is so exciting! What boat did you end up in?

What he says about writing to understand is 👌. If you want to see whether you understand something see if you can explain it to someone else.. to do this with your life is an admirable exercise!

Love the “not allowed to be an asshole” rule. SO true chemistry is key

Yep, it's a good one! And, John is the kind of human who really does get along with anyone. He looks for and sees the good in just about every person who crosses his path. I've always admired that about him.

Great to hear John discuss the reasons for his writing. I always remember the beginning some 35 years ago.Ty

John Kretschmer, sailing prophet and priest, ' I'm going to prophecy now, things are going to be great for you, life will become incredible' . John is great.

SO GOOD as I prepare to buy a boat and sail. Thank you so much for this talk. I just started reading John's book "Sailing a Serious Ocean." I hope to keep learning and growing.

Are cruising sailboats allowed to navigate the Suez Canal?
