The finish will be a half round but I will use my dingers that make the half round finish a little more flush The Marshall town jointers go in a little do deep for my liking
Got a question for you please, on the last job how come on the headers you only butter the front and back and not the middle. And you mentioned sbr to help keep the brick in place, but how does that work, I’ve only seen it used to kill suction in plastering. Please and thank you 🙏
I did this because the bricks was a few mil bigger and the joints was very tight. I filled them after not really the best practice but they was solid in the end. I used the sbr the same way we put it on the back of a slab for a patio or edging …..

I can tell you the answer he hates profiles he’s a traditional bricklayer . He had 20 bricklayers working for him and never a profile used or pick and dip 👍 each to their own but we don’t use profiles. I only use them when he’s not in 😂.

I priced 2 extensions for a builder last week and he wants to pay 800 a thousand and £15 per meter for blockwork there is no bulk on the job it’s all windows and bifold doors 😂😂😂. My price was £2000 a thousand and £40 per meter blockwork. No room for negotiation
At them prices I would rather sit at home and watch tv 😂. My mates have worked for him and said he takes weeks to pay so I got lucky getting out of that
