Always good to see more miguel content. In other news pretty sure i finally figured out the oil leak on the 3000gt. Dam oil galley plug sitting right above the rear main housing was clearly leaking oil and was so loose im surprised it didn't fall out. Then broke off a pressure plate bolt into the aluminum flywheel, But i got that sorted out pretty quick. Good thing i had extractors. Liking the new content with the rsx its different ,but atleast you have a stupid amount of aftermarket support. Far better than any mitsubishi lol.
Glad you found your issue man! I’ve been seeing stuff for this thing is everywhere. Kinda cool considering most of the 3s/dsm stuff is within the community itself lol
@@MiguelDsm im pretty sure its the issue. Nice little puddle of oil in the hole for the plug and you can trace the oil all over and around the rear main housing. And its one of those. Duh!, pretty sure I never checked that plug since the block came from the machine shop. Since they were supposed to do that as part if the hot tanking procedure then boring it.
It might need a valve adjustment k series always have tight valves that cause the p0300 code I’m pretty sure it’ll take care of the rest of the misfire codes
great vid. its cool to see the honda content and how much easier it is to work on next to the vr4. i have the counterparts to your cars... a dodge stealth and a em2 civic. 🔥
Slowly but surely. What would be cool is if you go to Advanced Auto and have em make a spray can custom to your paint code (yeah they do that) and you could just tape off the side and do a diy priner/ paint project on the quarter. That'd be cool to see.
I've seen another video about the brembo brake swap. From what I remember the guy used s2000 front rotors to avoid using the spacer. I recommend you look into that to avoid stressing the studs. However, I'm not too sure about the legitimacy of that.
Thank God it's getting done right. Yasss Denso oxygen sensor is is the only brand aside OEM that works best on Honda, NGK iridium's (excellent choice) K20/24 does recommend 5w 20 Synthetic blend oil I use Mobil one personally,Honda knock sensor always best. On a full tune up id spend a few bucks and replace the air filter, run some sea foam in your gas tank the next 3-4 fill ups, even in your oil 100 miles before your next oil change just to clean out any junk in the system...She sounds pretty good , glad someone is bringing it back to life...
@@MiguelDsm depends how it's used, I ran a full can with each fill up for a month in my K24 Accord and it runs great. I think it's only bad when people pour it in the oil and leave it in there...
if you ever want to change up the exhaust, you should use vibrant bottle style resonator and either a twin loop muffler or megan racing m spec II muffler. i would stay away from yonaka for the rsx and the ep3, the resonator portion welds will break even with oem cat, also don’t get rid of the cat or if you decide to, put a vibrant ultra quiet resonator in place of the cat. i have a video of my eg civic on my channel
Unpopular opinion: the blue looks nice... me personally would not change the color, I would just paint match the rest 💯 Edit: If I were to wrap it... I'd go for a similar color to what the paint is so when you look at the door gaps, under the trunk, strut towers, etc it almost looks like paint instead of a wrap 🤷♂️
@MiguelDsm I know I'm just teasing. Personally I have a clapped out infinity g35 that I'm messing with but I might start looking for a genisies coupe to play with
This car just pisses me off when I look at it. I don't care if something is cheap there's no reason to break anything. I'm glad it's in your hands now. I can't wait to see it in perfect condition.
In my opinion... A daily driver should be reliable, good looking enough on the eye but not care about dents or scratches, easy to work on, cheap on maintenance, cheap to fill the gas tank and fuel efficient, easy to get in and out (for those hard days of work), good visibility looking out, fun to drive but not fast, roomy enough to carry your stuff and possibly spend a night, small wheel base for easy driving in the city
it runs pretty good man, can't wait to see more from the Acura in future videos.
Runs really good mechanically. Just need to focus on making it pretty now

@@MiguelDsm GRACIAS BRO!
I'm glad to see the RSX content coming in. Good video!
Oh damn wasnt that you at the Cars and Coffee this morning?
Yea haha. Parked far away to hide it
I can’t wait to see how fire this comes out! Can have a TSX/RSX shoot! 🔥
I’m down bro! 🤝

im loving this build!
Glad to hear 🫶🏻

All codes went away at the end of the video. It ended up being the 02 sensor causing the air fuel mixture to run out of wack
Me gusta ver que aunque el RSX esté en pésima condiciones estéticamente hablando aun así te diviertes con el auto😅👍🏼
Excited to see the wrap video
Gonna be a pain 😅
@@MiguelDsm I got faith in you
Whew, that car is in rough shape.
Without a doubt. At least aesthetically. It’s running brand new after this
If your still getting a strong gas smell, check your fuel pump assembly the top of it always cracks and leaks gas since it’s plastic
Is there a seal or is it the actual cap?
It’s the whole fuel housing

Didn’t know they did that haha
Rsx is coming along! Your gonna love the k series! K series, 4g63, and ls is the way to go!
Never experienced an LS but I’ll believe you haha
Sick video editing

love your content for rsx! sub 👌
You thinking of keeping the wheels?
Not for long. How much do they go for?
@@MiguelDsm not sure 400-600 I think but you can sell them to me for 300.😂
Lol thanks for the tip 😂
@@MiguelDsm if you have a price in mind, let me know
Once I have the new setup, shoot me 500.

I’m thinking the cat might be shot on this one. It still wreaks like gas after the 02 sensor replacement

Better get some sealer over that bondo before it starts absorbing water and rusts inside out. 😊
When his daily RSX would still gap my 420A eclipse 😭 my shit don’t pull at all it feels like 😭
That knock sensor so annoying! I did one a few years ago, man what a pain lol
Tight fit lol
Any update on the dsm horn button?
Definitely do hybrid racing detent springs and gear selectors spring well worth the money
Most likely going with Riaction usa coilovers
The k series vibrates alot that knock sensor could’ve backed out on its own bro….
Do you know if the o2 sensor would work for an 03 base rsx? I heard the type s and base are interchangeable but not to sure about the year
did it work?
Same thing happened to me when I bought a cheap knock sensor 🤣
Lesson learned haha
Glad you’re sticking with it. N/a power is a different world
Miguel i have a 3g rn its a 03 gts 5speed but im looking at a 99 rs oz rally edition 5 speed do u think its worth me trading my 3g for it?
Yes it is in my opinion
wait did you change your transmission fluid 👀
No 🥲. Why do I always forget the trans fluid lol
@@MiguelDsm everybody does 🤣 thats the funny part
I want one of these cars😍
Get one! Pretty fun to drive around the city
Oh no we going to lose Miguel to the Honda bois 😅 dsm fo life

My sister has a bk1 turbo. Cool cars and sound good with intake and exhaust
@MiguelDsm I saw one at a show and said that looks like a good platform to do something cool with
Supercharge it! 🤙🏻
Need something reliable :)

Trust me, the more I work on it the more it upsets me it got to this point to begin with.
I thought it was supposed to be a daily so why spend the money on coilovers and instead just get oem and lowering springs
Why not just get coilovers and be able to adjust ride height. Also who says you cant mod your daily? Lol
@@OEM1 nobody said that. Just seems unnecessary for a daily

Lol
Nice
Thank you 🙏🏻
What motor is in this? Seemed pretty snappy for 4 cylinder?
Honda K20z1
Trading that Chrysler piece of shit motor eclipse was a common sense trade imo
Once you vtec, you don't go back.
Her poor evo is just sitting as storage
It’s not that ugly bro
bro Castrol sucks hard, you should know this as car guy ;)
I’ve always used their synthetic oil on my daily drivers without any issues
