I found a full set of four brand new mats for my 01 Prelude at a Honda dealer in Canada. Don’t know how they actually found them up but they were in the original plastic packaging. 500$ cad. Bought brand new Honda headlights for 400$ each as well and door moulding for 90$ each, getting hard to find parts for the lude so I was buying things before I need them. I keep my cars forever. Hello from British Columbia 😎
One guy told me $500 for the 2 front all weather mats, i bought another rsx and it same with literally brand new oem type S mats with the all weather mats also, the guy also threw in brand new door moldings also, seeing how much you spent makes me feel really lucky
Very true, OEM+ tends to be a pretty expensive style. But in my honest humble opinion though, It's usually such a interesting style that's very much worth it as long as one gets the right parts. Some parts might look nice and OEM+ but in reality they're cheap replacements only meant to look slightly more fancy, But research does wonders.
Loving the videos, just recently got into a Type S about 5 months ago (Something I've wanted since highschool 2010) and was tired of looking 5+ year old outdated TH-cam videos
These are a dying breed I have a o6 type S 70 k miles and some old head offered me 9000 did I take no cause these cars are beautiful and they’re so jdm and they basically last forever if you maintain it and btw urs looks Beautiful. Really clean 😍
Those window moldings annoy me as well. I ended up getting window moldings from a civic coupe at a scrap yard for free, (which were in perfect condition) and they were slightly longer than my rsx ones. Just have to cut them down to size.
Yeah bro I thought I lost my passenger floor mat couple weeks ago for my rsx called the dealership to see how much they going for i was shocked I ended up finding my mat luckily and now know its worth not cheap
These cars are not cheap and i personally love it. Makes you appreciate the cleanest ones out there and it's truly a beautiful car in person. Online pictures and videos don't do these cars enough justice
I have a 06 Rsx Type-S with only 28k original miles on it. It was my dream car at 15. All vins match! I have all the oem parts i took off stored and wrapped.
being from Toronto, every single honda/acura I've owned; I've kept the original cloth floor mats underneath the oem rubber ones year round. I've basically kept the cloth floor mats brand new as a result of this.

@@ericxhcurioso3357 I hope he upgrades parts properly. In the RSX community, 100% oem isnt necessarily wanted. Certain upgrades are needed... Silver paint with badly flaked window molds, but hearing how you fully scrap then rewrap makes me wonder if I should fully scrap to expose all the silver underneath and leave it as is because it kind of matches the pant. Lazy not replacing them, but silver on silver might look passable… at least cleaner and better than flakey
