As a tennis guy, there're the barricades with boost that feel great to walk in, but making sudden stops on the squishy material didn't feel great and control felt a bit off so seeing something that can feel nearly just as good but has a lot more stability seems like the perfect sole for a tennis shoe
They look really stylish. Reminds me a little bit of the craziness of Kamanda's midsole. What will make me cop these is if they encapsulate the soles to prevent shit getting inside.
Liam Williams dammmn lol i just saw a comment talking about what if poop goes in but yes rocks or pebbles of all sorts would be a problem too! Imagine than not being able to take them easily , shoes starts becoming a rock storer
i see one big problem with Futurecraft 4D. it collect littles stones and mud in the sole. and i dont know, how you are getting rid of these things, once they are in there? sry, but iam not a fan of that.
I think in the future, they'd potentially make a midsole with a rubber barrier around it similar to the Yeezy Boost 350 to prevent this if it's that much of a problem. It most likely won't lose much comfort either.
It is firstly a running silhouette so I guess it is meant for running in then cleaning up afterwards with water if you want, this seems more like a race day shoe though because of the customisation and price point
yung TYLER 🤦♂️ the whole reason they customised every part of the shoe for best running with and it is customised for athletes feet who will also train and run in them is that it is a running shoe
Seriously the best sneaker video I’ve ever watched. You’re so informed about everything to do with the stuff you review and you present it in such a clean and understandable manner. This video should be the standard for all others! Keep it up man! 👏🏽
Question: if adidas' excuse for coming out with a new Ultra Boost iteration every year is that the new uppers are more advanced, why would they use this 1.0-esque upper on their most advanced shoe instead of an Ultra Boost 3.0 or 4.0 knit?
Because it is the most liked pattern, and they want this shoe to be a hit. They can experiment with patterns on the Ultra Boosts because people will buy them regardless. With a new silhouette, Adidas will need to make a bold impression.
VP of Design Ben Herath said they decided to put everyone's favorite knit pattern of the UB1.0 with some larger ventilation to match the aesthetic of the midsole. So it's not really the pattern that makes the different UB's more advanced, it's the amount of yarn
Good review... Waiting to check and see if I can try 'em in to "feel out" the possibilities. (Also) how would you include the Nike Epic React in this discussion..?
So in other words these are boost killers? sure not rn but in time when they start getting cheaper and maybe add some more design I don’t really get why boost would be necessary as much anymore
Mine are so snug that I had to remove my insole. It's weird being able to feel the holes in the midsole but it'd probably help it conform to my foot more during the wearing process.
Great Video! The tech behind this is amazing and helping people in the process is what innovation should be about. I'm not huge tech and sneaker person and into how things are made so I enjoyed the video. Dope content as usual Ray!
One question I have is what happens when the continental soles just wear away. My ultraboosts have about 6 months on them, and I'm already worn down to the boost and it's cracking/yellowing. On the 4D's, when you where down to the webbing material, that surely won't hold up against pavement or sidewalks right? The continental soles are trash, and Adidas NEEDS to harden them and make them more durable.
I’m so hyped for this technology to go mainstream. I can’t wait for the time where I can go into a shoe store, have my feet scanned, and have them custom printed to my feet.
Bart Burton not at the moment but that is Adidas goal. The plan is for you to be able to walk into any Adidas store in the world and have your foot scanned. Then the machine will make it based on that for it to be perfect for your foot. This process is set to take about an hour or so.
G O D having experienced trypophobia, I can verifiably say it is real, and you can kindly go stick your head in a woodchipper. These shoes don't trigger it for me, though.
Really interesting, great video! Was not even aware of Futurecraft. Had only heard of Moderncraft Would love to try out this technology. Having shoes made for you in store sounds like what Adidas Athlete Services does for footballers
@Ray, Thank you! Great video, I am wondering how the sizing is, You say true to size with the UB however which UB are you referring to? This question is not exclusive to you Ray Polanco Jr But would appreciate your response! Thank You. Aslan. UK
I've been wearing boosts since 2014 and haven't experienced any boost bottoming out. I'm not sure what some of y'all are doing out there with your boost but I don't experience the bottoming out. Even when I put on my very first boost which are beat up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Great video man, anything 4D is superior for flat footed individuals. I can’t run past a mile with with ultraboost do to the narrow wobble at the midsole. Destroys my foot man. Awesome insights
I was in the running shoe business, but people want to wear what's hot, the most popular models, or each usually have a strong opinion of what they like to wear. very very little people care about what's best for the feet. I don't think this is ever going to work. unless you put it on, your knee pain goes away immediately.
Bro 180$ for UB? In my country it cost 328$ and that is the cheapest retail. Cheapest UB is usually on the open market and it is usually second hand and in bad shape already.
Univz in my country there is 2 tax you need to pay for getting your item in here. It is because my country is now very strict and only a very limited stock that you can buy of UB. First tax is the shipping tax and the 2nd one is for a ensured safe item. Usually in my country we dont have any other UB color other than blue, black, and white. Pure Boost is however very much cheaper tho
Great Review I wear All kinds of Adidas Was VERY satisfied with my Adidas Pure Barefoots, and the Springblades. Also the Turbulars.. The Flux is a step back in comfort, although can be a step ahead in Style like the Xeno ;) or Honeycombs ect. Bought me a Pair of Ultraboost secondhand on Ebay,I was so amazed in many ways. The ONLY bad thing is that wind will go straight tru the upper fabric,so...cold in winter. But still the Ultra keeps ur feet warmer than most shoes, these shoes have big heath isolation, and I don t think the Futurecraft has this Isolation capability. I noticed this wearing Springblades in Winter, wind and ground will make ur feet get cold very fast. The other thing I noticed, the Ultra Boost makes ur feet have less Callus than other running shoes. Greetings !
coming from someone who had boost before i had my vapormax i have to say vapormax are shit and hurt my feet dont buy those if you stuck on a decision, buy the ultraboost, in my opinion i dont know how shoes get much more comfortable than that?
I’m waiting for that Adidas Future Boost.
now that's an idea
they have it on the AM4 have a boost that is made with 3d prinitng i believe
and the ultra craft
I like that. Half boost, half fc. Fc in the back, boost in front
Or even using futurecraft as a carrier for boost
If you step in a puddle does the water go through the midsole and get your foot wet?
joshdrums well I don’t like hunk anyone is gonna be stepping in a puddle with those but good question
joshdrums I think so, I feel like Adidas will eventually put another layer between the midsole and outsole to prevent that
also some gravels
Will dry fast thou :)
A boost/4D cardbon hybrid would be cool.
Jon petter like filling the gaps/holes with boost
Jon petter Boost insoles
no
The bottom has a holes that can be penetrated by dirt or dust..
And dog poo
Loved it! Very informative, answered basically every question I had.
thanks for watching Connor
Still going for boost
As a tennis guy, there're the barricades with boost that feel great to walk in, but making sudden stops on the squishy material didn't feel great and control felt a bit off so seeing something that can feel nearly just as good but has a lot more stability seems like the perfect sole for a tennis shoe
Love the video. Very detailed and great shots as usual.
They look really stylish. Reminds me a little bit of the craziness of Kamanda's midsole. What will make me cop these is if they encapsulate the soles to prevent shit getting inside.
don't wanna get any pebbles in those little holes, i really wanna cop tho. i hope those little beams don’t get brittle and snap over time
I think there is a lot of problems with this. I see gaps which water could flow into as well as stones. I don't think this is as great as it seems
Liam Williams dammmn lol i just saw a comment talking about what if poop goes in but yes rocks or pebbles of all sorts would be a problem too! Imagine than not being able to take them easily , shoes starts becoming a rock storer
Hairdryer.
Just wait I'm sure there will be a full cover cage (kinda like on yeezys) on some models eventually.
InZeyn I understand that but even normal walking would get stones in them
InZeyn I guess so yes overall I think it's a nice shoe but you have really got to look after it
Smashed it with this video Ray.
MrsTeriyaki what about dust & small stones getting into the soul....This shit ain't gonna work in India 🤣
i see one big problem with Futurecraft 4D.
it collect littles stones and mud in the sole.
and i dont know, how you are getting rid of these things, once they are in there?
sry, but iam not a fan of that.
if you like to clean the sole of your shoes everytime when you were outside, fine.
but i think this could be a real issue.
I think in the future, they'd potentially make a midsole with a rubber barrier around it similar to the Yeezy Boost 350 to prevent this if it's that much of a problem. It most likely won't lose much comfort either.
It is firstly a running silhouette so I guess it is meant for running in then cleaning up afterwards with water if you want, this seems more like a race day shoe though because of the customisation and price point
not meant for running whatsoever. Difference between a "runner" and a "running shoe"
yung TYLER 🤦♂️ the whole reason they customised every part of the shoe for best running with and it is customised for athletes feet who will also train and run in them is that it is a running shoe
Seriously the best sneaker video I’ve ever watched. You’re so informed about everything to do with the stuff you review and you present it in such a clean and understandable manner. This video should be the standard for all others! Keep it up man! 👏🏽
Daaaamn.
This made me so so visually pleased.
I mean, the video content is amazing man, but the aesthetic is everything.
10/10 man.
What is nike doin about this? They cant keep on retroing every siluette or just put flighknit on it
"siluette" "flighknit" - what in god's name are you trying to say?
Question: if adidas' excuse for coming out with a new Ultra Boost iteration every year is that the new uppers are more advanced, why would they use this 1.0-esque upper on their most advanced shoe instead of an Ultra Boost 3.0 or 4.0 knit?

Asiia Phan 3.0 knit didn't look so good on basic black and white colors
it's only the pattern looks like ub 1.0. the knit material itself advances along the time.
Looks dont mean everything has stayed the same. Almost like how iphones take influence from older models yet *get more advanced*??
VP of Design Ben Herath said they decided to put everyone's favorite knit pattern of the UB1.0 with some larger ventilation to match the aesthetic of the midsole. So it's not really the pattern that makes the different UB's more advanced, it's the amount of yarn
how do you only have 2.5k? great youtuber. your production quality is amazing
AWESOME VIDEO! WELL DONE DUDE! I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it keep up the work!
Those futurecraft shoes are probably best for in door training, maybe outside tennis too, its just that random stuff get stuck in the holes
Surprised you don't have more subs, good content, easy to listen to voice.
will sticky shit like gum and stuff get stuck inside and hurt the comfortability and what about liquid will it get through the holes?
Thanks for stress-testing these great looking shoes. Now I'm hella interested in them, great video!
Good review...
Waiting to check and see if I can try 'em in to "feel out" the possibilities.
(Also) how would you include the Nike Epic React in this discussion..?
Best video about the 4D & Boost so far !
So in other words these are boost killers? sure not rn but in time when they start getting cheaper and maybe add some more design I don’t really get why boost would be necessary as much anymore
Great Video. I have been wondering about this shoe for ages.
Great presentation of the shoe, but dam I don't like where the price goes. Costs then the "newest generation" in maybe 20 years like a middle car?
One question I have is what happens when the continental soles just wear away. My ultraboosts have about 6 months on them, and I'm already worn down to the boost and it's cracking/yellowing. On the 4D's, when you where down to the webbing material, that surely won't hold up against pavement or sidewalks right? The continental soles are trash, and Adidas NEEDS to harden them and make them more durable.
you deserve way more followers, well done!
Do a Futurecraft X Epic React Flynit comparison !
im waiting for adidas ultracraft 😂😂😂
chevader im waiting for adidas minecraft
id be interested to hear his opinions on why 'sneakers change lives'
So since it is customised for ur foot will it work if u order it on GOAT or online
I have a wide foot and you said it wouldn’t be good for wide foots. Wouldn’t they just make the shoe wider?
My man so clutch with this review.
Ray back at it again with his freebies, no effort required when the source get plugged 100% of the time
The liquid is also thermoplastic polyurethane resin.
Only thing I'm worried about is that it doesn't have a heel cup. How does it compensate?
u're video are really dope! nice work!! awesome détails, including video, that's dope! keep it up
My only question , how would u clean them If the sole has holes in it? What if dirt or water went in it?
Aint pebbles gonna get inbetween the futurcraft midsole? I hated when rocks got stuck in my freeruns lol
I’m so hyped for this technology to go mainstream. I can’t wait for the time where I can go into a shoe store, have my feet scanned, and have them custom printed to my feet.
What if u stepped in dirt with future craft, it looks like it’d be hell to clean it up.
futurecraft needs the yeezyoutsolecage to counter dirt.. dunno how it would affect the flexibility or comfort tho
It seems like the sole itself needs a sick cover bigtime. Not a fan of poking in to holes especially from the bottom up.
I’m waiting for the mass scale release but will it still be 300 when it’s more available
How is cleaning? Any debris (rocks or twigs) get stuck in that future craft?
so this shoe was custom built to match your foot shape and size?
Bart Burton not at the moment but that is Adidas goal. The plan is for you to be able to walk into any Adidas store in the world and have your foot scanned. Then the machine will make it based on that for it to be perfect for your foot. This process is set to take about an hour or so.
Bart Burton it will also be designed over the weight of the individual as well
I been wanting this but sucks they are only in NYC. For now....
What If someone gets a pair made in store and then decides that they don't like them?
Great video really informative, well done
Ari Cagan you too man!
Trypophobia tho
SAME BRO
Asthma isnt real lol
G O D having experienced trypophobia, I can verifiably say it is real, and you can kindly go stick your head in a woodchipper.
These shoes don't trigger it for me, though.
YEEP YEP YEO...
Kevin Lee The earth is flat please guys look in to this people fear this fact
Please do a Puma jammin video. I know you're not a prolific uploader but I like your review on this product
I have a question. has the shoes launched in California yet?
Which planet y'all buy these on??
Okay Damn earth
What would happen if dirt and mud gets in between the 4d future craft midsole¿
Really informative video thank you for making this. Definitely subscribed
Best futrecraft explanation yet good video my man!
Thank you very much
I've been waiting for this shoe soooo long. Beautiful shoe I need to cop a pair this year for retail. Hopefully you're right about the 100k pairs
How have you worn these for a full year when they have only just come out ??
Really interesting, great video! Was not even aware of Futurecraft. Had only heard of Moderncraft
Would love to try out this technology. Having shoes made for you in store sounds like what Adidas Athlete Services does for footballers
Jonathan Rodriguez ive only heard of minecraft..
+Erik ( ͡° _ʖ ͡°)
@Ray, Thank you! Great video, I am wondering how the sizing is, You say true to size with the UB however which UB are you referring to? This question is not exclusive to you Ray Polanco Jr But would appreciate your response! Thank You. Aslan. UK
UB1.0 and 2.0 -- ima 9 in those and 9 in these. Thanks for watching
Ray Polanco Jr so would the sizing be half size bigger from TTS?
i would try to buy them if it had an external outsole
I’ve been wanting ultraboosts for like 2 years now but yeah can’t afford them
So, I guess if you have tripophobia these shoes would be ill-advised.
Yea I do and I legit couldn't make it through this video
Yup, it is not. lol
1:20 i dont think they've been out for a year bro
He said that this is the latest Adidas shoe and said he had it for over a year...?
Damn... sneaker reviews usually suck. This is put together pretty well... keep it up *sub*
Loved how thorough this review was 👌 now I'm way more interested in the Futurecraft 4D
Definitely for casual wear not hiking or going to the park on rainy days!
Killer video my dude!
Loved the vid and shoes. You've gained a new sub😊☺☺
At first I didn’t want boost to be replaced but now this looks way waaaay better
I've been wearing boosts since 2014 and haven't experienced any boost bottoming out. I'm not sure what some of y'all are doing out there with your boost but I don't experience the bottoming out. Even when I put on my very first boost which are beat up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
maxpower10k same here mate, and I'm a heavy dude lol
the intro song is konata small, doing me, right?
Is the outsole the same as the ultra boost?
Or is it thicker
WHAT?
yes continental rubber!
The future boost sole is a resin 3d printer they are just coming out
how much do they weigh? I know they are different for every one and every size but what is the weight of yours
Great video man, anything 4D is superior for flat footed individuals. I can’t run past a mile with with ultraboost do to the narrow wobble at the midsole. Destroys my foot man. Awesome insights

Alex Nguyen Indonesia
ZER0 How is that even possible? Their retail price has always been 180$ unless you’re buying from 3rd party

u sure?the adidas store in jakarta is selling at rp 3.000.000 which is equivalent to usd 225.i got my ultraboost at adidas store
might copp on sale or use discount eventually they need to throw more new tech inside jordan retroz
that new sole doesnt look so stylish lol i wonder how hard it will be to clean on regular basis?
great and best review i ever seen.. thanks man!
Great Review
I wear All kinds of Adidas

Well ruined it for me cuz i have tryphophobia
Ethan Slamberry 😂
Yikes haha totally understand
Ethan Slamberry same here
Angus U sorry mate it weren’t me that was my brother
Same here my dude
coming from someone who had boost before i had my vapormax i have to say vapormax are shit and hurt my feet dont buy those if you stuck on a decision, buy the ultraboost, in my opinion i dont know how shoes get much more comfortable than that?
Great vid and well informing! 👍
GREAT work on the vid great job.
You said sizing is like the Ultra Boost. Would you say it fits more like 1.0 or 3.0?
sizing IS practically the same for 1.0 and 3.0, 1.0 however just has a tighter knit.
1.0
If I’m size 11.5 in Ub V3 what size should I get in Ub V1
In my opinion the future craft is uncomfortable and i have had them for about 2 weeks. Consistently so in my opinion BOOST is way more comfortable
already feel the pain of getting rid of all the little rocks and dust out of these holes
Whats up with Adidas and making narrow shoes
How much do you weigh and how tall are you.
jorgecuervo24 1 inch, 0 pounds
0.0001 inches 0.00000000000000000000000000000001 pounds
8000 tons 3 feet
Those midsoles disturb me so much #trypophobia
You’ve just been told by G O D!
Andrea I agree!!!
i like the midsoles because it's satisfying to watch...lol
