I get what you are saying and I agree with you but the real issue is that its very hard to be respectful and cooperative when those same people have treated you like shit and you have a chip on your shoulder from that treatment. Let me tell you a story. I am from Jamaica and back in the day I was a reserve soldier and worked as a Clerk of Court at the family court. Now , wearing cammo is actually illegal in Jamaica if you are not military. one monday evening I was coming from work and was accosted by a police patrol. They drove the same old US army jeeps. Buddy jumped out , grabbed me by the back of my cammo fatigues and said take this fucking thing off. When i tried to tell him that I had training that weekend and was coming from work because I didn't have time to change he simply used a knife to rip my Jacket and then emptied my pockets on the ground . He then tried to kick y legs out from under me and because he failed he butted me with his AR 18. Now, the thing is we sometimes had joint police military patrols so it wasn't hard to find out which patrol did this and my CO arranged for us to patrol with two military jeeps and one cop jeep. You of course can imagine their surprise when we confronted them in one of the many lonely back streets and explained that we were going to have a chat with the one who fcked with me. To be honest we didn't actually do anything but for years I had a massive chip on my shoulder against every cop I met even though I had to interact with many cops on a daily basis. I wont lie, I massacred them in court at every opportunity and only lost that hatred long after I left the family court and migrated.
Not only was you staying calm and handling the situation good, but the officer was really nice too. Not every police officer would let you tell him the reason for carrying those firearms but react aggressive for no reason.
This guy did an awesome job speaking to the cops. He could have been a dick but he wasn’t. My highest respect goes out to this guy for following all of the police’s orders and commands.
I wont lie, I massacred them in court at every opportunity and only lost that hatred long after I left the family court and migrated.

glad you're okay boss.
Handled that very well
Awesome job for both sides. Totally understandable that he would be nervous, but I'm glad the cops kept up a respectful tone the whole time and let the conversational humor diffuse it a bit, too.
It's great to finally see an officer interaction where there's respect given and respect received. Great job on both sides.

“Finally” huh? Happens all the time, but they usually aren’t posted on TH-cam
This video should be shown to everyone, even if you got 1) a black mask, 2) black shades, 3) "scary" tattoos, 4) a glock strapped to your chest, and 5) a vehicle that's not supposed to be on the road, it's all about how you communicate and convey yourself. Understanding and respect goes a long way.
Tell that to the robbers Robbin my bank rn 😂

His rights were still violated.
@@andrebutts1225 bro in what way? He was stopped for speeding
Communication is key! Solid
Advising them to remove the entire holster, not just the gun, was a grade A move. Cops should be trained to do it that way, but most aren't.
Too many react like the cop in the Philando Castille case. And Mr. Castille was handling himself according to the law. Yeah, great video the only purpose of which is to show a cop handling a situation properly which is what they're supposed to do. No reward or kudos for doing it either.
Facts 💯
@@ejb5034 I disagree on both accounts. People doing things appropriately should be acknowledged. I dont think these cops deserve kudos because I doing think they handled it all that well. No need to get him out of the car, call for backup, disarm him, ect. Just because they didn't catch an attitude doesnt mean they didn't over react or handle it well.
@@hall0341 As someone who is the first one to point the finger at the police... I disagree. He had a lot of firearms and specifically told him that he had multiple (some fully automatic) firearms in the trunk. At that point, for officer and civilian safety, backup should be called. That is also when a search is likely reasonable, because they would need to locate every firearm in the vehicle and see documentation for each. I feel these cops did their job well.
@@freezeraygaming as some one who isn't the first to point their finger at the police, as if thats a qualifying statement, a person abiding by the law shouldn't trigger a search.
You had me laughing the whole time. Massive respect to all of you guys.
