Glad you are not on the "only PMAG" bandwagon. I have used Okay mags for 50 years...they are excellent. Thank you.6

got a 20 rounder and the guy that checked me out asked “you buying before their out?” i had no idea they were gonna stop making them

I’ve been using Okay USGI mags for over two decades with my only complaint being that I wish I had more back in the day. I also love the Okay Surefeed E2’s, I’m sad to see them go. Rumor has it that they sold their magazine manufacturing capabilities… maybe to PSA? I don’t know for sure. If and or when they are made again, I just hope they are the same excellent quality (which isn’t easy to do).

Surprised that it actually happened that they are officially out. Glad that several TH-camrs told us that this was coming back in March 2022. That allowed us to stock up.
As of today, a few vendors have 20 rounders, and 30 round E2 but the price is almost $15 for the last batches.

Just picked some up for $15 each. I wondered why my regular dealer didn’t have these in stock for the past 6 months.

I told her babe .now I need more bullets 😂

@@JR-ld1et the good news is that there are plenty of reliable mags out there. I just prefer these aluminum okays. And yes you gotta get some ammo on hand. I'm working on that too slow and steady

Well, I’ve got lots of the SureFeed mags and Duramags as I stocked up as soon as I heard they were going to focus on their medical equipment manufacturing during China Virus epidemic, go figure. I don’t agree with the Surefeed aluminum being of better quality than the Aluminum Duramag as the Duramag has post and weld technology which is claimed as superior to just spot weld and I’d have to agree too. The Stainless Steel (SS ) Duramag is IMO best built GI style mag on the market today and even run 300 blackout rounds in my 556 Duramag with zero issues. I’ve got lots of each as well as Magpul mags and absolutely love them with zero issues ever through many many thousands of rounds. We’ve all just got to stock up on as many high quality mags as possible cause they’re really going after our 2A and don’t forget, mags are disposable commodities so stock up

I love Okay surefeed mags. I install Magpul yellow anti tilt followers however and high quality springs in the 40 or so lightly used mags i purchased years ago.

The AR-7.62x39 (28 round) mags I am cutting buying are black coated stained steel and are about $25 each. I don't think that is bad for stainless steel mags. A Ruger Mini-14 (30 round) mag will set you back $42 each and Mini-30 (20 round) mags are expensive also. I have some "Preban" 40 round Mini-30 mags. I buy ProMag, MagPro and steel mags for the AR-15. I try to have a minimum of 21 standard size mags for each rifle. More when I can. Keep Prepping my friends.

The 20 rounders are all gone now. No big box chain or website has any. There is only a very very small handful here and there on smaller less reputable websites and gunbroker. All overpriced of course, to take advantage. Try at your own risk. Have heard of people getting scammed or having incorrect brand sent to them.
I managed to snag some brand new and still in unopened packaging for a high price before they sold out. Price wasn't too crazy though. The real deal. So far it looks like no one in the private non-military bought the old manufacturing equipment.

What you have is ar15 mags i general having a 20 percent market shrinkage, okay industries was an oem for colt, rock river tactical, and a few other big names that have now changed exclusively to magpul.
