great video Ernest, you've earned a new sub. Can never have enough immersive sim content. If I may offer a bit of constructive criticism, I would lower the music a bit and raise your voice so that you may be heard more clearly.
@ErnestSheptalo Great to hear. I just got the first game because I'm on Xbox. Can't wait to finally play it. Now I'm only waiting for MGS4 and Bloodborne to come over. So many great games stuck on sony platforms.
"Immersive Sim" is a confusing name for a genre. It's a simulation of being immersed? A more clear genre name might help, something that describes a game where problems can have multiple solutions, like "Open-Solution Action games" or something.
great video. I think that lot of immersive sim games lost recently because other things that "being immersive sim" Dishonored 2: - technical issues on premiere and even now unstable 30fps lock on playstation Dishonored Death of outsider and deathloop - black woman on cover, games with woman or person of color on cover sell less and its afact(im not a racer😅) weird color guns. Dumb story and Characters like from child movie Deus ex: - detached from reality huge expectation form square enix, 30fps lock on playstation even now Prey: - remake of 2006 game that sell shait, shooting white goo on aliens🤨and Playing this as an immersive sim really requires a lot of dedication Thanks to You Im gonna check Gloomwood and system shock remake becuase i never heard of this games😅 that summs up marketing of them In my opinion they take risk in making that games distinguishing from others fps but they fail making typical gameplay like cod or gta( you can shoot eweryone and have fun). Cyberpunk 2077 for me is great example. Good shooting, great story and if you wanna play like immersiv sim you have option. They should convince new player being good fps and interesting story not duplicate gameplay and make weird fortnite characters and guns
Thanks for watching! I agree, games these days take a ton of money to make, which makes it really hard for developers and publishers to take risks. Especially after a stream of financial blunders. Cyberpunk is definitely on my list of must-play games. Here's hoping I get to it by the end of the year.
Subbed! As an imsim fanatic, I think this genre needs more spotlight...

Thanks for subscribing! I'll keep that feedback in mind for future videos. 🙏
great, concise video. Subbed
Hot take: Every Hideo Kojima game is secretly an immersive sim.
Not hot at all! Especially his early stuff (i.e. MGS3).
I wonder how DS2 will pan out. The first game sucked me in for 60 hours.

i doubt 3rd person view and imsims are compatible
Good video. I would suggest Charlatan Wonder on TH-cam for more about immersive sims
I'll check him out, thanks for the suggestion!
