    Like the bleeding blue screen always increases, does the burn-in also increase even if the brightness is kept lower?

    • @Nwhproductions
      @Nwhproductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      They there reducing the screen brightness may help to decrease burn in however if you keel viewing static objects it will still burin in over a long period of time. Cheers!

    The LCD display does get affected by burn-in but it gets away after some time (2 - 3 days). I experienced it on my iPhone 8.

      Same thing, i experienced it on my Moto G4 i had, but instead of getting it away by 2-3 days until it disappeared, i just had to wait some minutes

      it does not, lcd and ips cant physically have burnin, it just can´t

    • @Dkmasteris
      @Dkmasteris 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Em0ch They can. LCD's are just arrays of led light bulbs. And just like any light bulb their light emitting properties degrade if left continuously on for a long period of time. It's just that they're way less susceptible to it and if you don't let it get too bad, flashing the screen tends to fix it, unlike oled's.

    what makes noticeable dead blue screens is static images and it happens really fast at full level brigthness by using adaptive ligth and being in a sunny day and thats it, Oleds look great but there not meant for phones, companies using this specially samsung should never allow thier devices to reach full brigthness when this cause burn screens that is very unethical and says a lot about the companny.

    • @Nwhproductions
      @Nwhproductions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i agree however they weigh the trade off's compared to having an LCD screen and decided to stand out from the rest of the other phones out there they used an oled screen. They expect people to change phones every 2 to 3 years hence they would not be able to notice the burn in. Its also varies on the user. But you said a really good point there.

      @@Nwhproductions - the more we care about the better the oleds will become they migth find a better way to build leds to burn at higher levels and lock the brigthes to make them stable, its been a while and no substancial change has been made the red leds work amazing btw.

      He said 12hours in the video. How does it work? It burns the screen more, to blur our the original burn. It certainly won't work for heavy burn ins, only on something that's barely visible to begin with.
