@@Em0ch They can. LCD's are just arrays of led light bulbs. And just like any light bulb their light emitting properties degrade if left continuously on for a long period of time. It's just that they're way less susceptible to it and if you don't let it get too bad, flashing the screen tends to fix it, unlike oled's.
what makes noticeable dead blue screens is static images and it happens really fast at full level brigthness by using adaptive ligth and being in a sunny day and thats it, Oleds look great but there not meant for phones, companies using this specially samsung should never allow thier devices to reach full brigthness when this cause burn screens that is very unethical and says a lot about the companny.
i agree however they weigh the trade off's compared to having an LCD screen and decided to stand out from the rest of the other phones out there they used an oled screen. They expect people to change phones every 2 to 3 years hence they would not be able to notice the burn in. Its also varies on the user. But you said a really good point there.

Hello brother I've have a vertical line on lg V50 P OLED it's appear only in gray area but when I set the brightness in 35% , but it's disappear on max brightness or mor than 75% , so is it a commun issue or it's faulty screen btw it's happening only in gray color

I sent my phone in to Samsung for screen burn, it was very serious, however I got my phone back and the screen burn was fixed?! They didn't replace the screen either as all my deep scratches were still there
@NWH Productions they did the same thing with my Samsung note 10 + 5g. it's called "callibrating the screen," where they put it in a machine for two hours or so and fix calibrate each individual pixel which is then saved to the phones motherboard.

Hey man if you still use the same app that causes the burn in it will constantly keep making the already burned in image redder after time it will stop getting redder. Does not really affect performance just some annoyance. Cheers!

The LCD display does get affected by burn-in but it gets away after some time (2 - 3 days). I experienced it on my iPhone 8.
Same thing, i experienced it on my Moto G4 i had, but instead of getting it away by 2-3 days until it disappeared, i just had to wait some minutes

Just buy a aftermarket LCD screen replacement for it phone and u'll never have burn in again.

Bad idea. LCD screens arent the same spec as OLED screens, this has lead to power draw issues on certain phones leading to motherboard damage.

It does in some degrees. Some cases it does work in other more badly burnt in screens it does not. Hope this helps you :)
