This song stuck the first time i heard it. And i still get chills listening to it. Really glad you are giving Amorphis some well deserved love. And yeah, would be nice with a review of Queen of Time.
The Album Skyforger is also great. Sampo is the first song on the album.
Really enjoy your channel, nice discovering new music with you, and rediscovering forgotten bands.

Yeah, bands like amorphis deserves more praise. Please make a review of this album. It's a big funbag. So many different styles. Another big bands which deserves more love are opeth, porcupine tree, caligula's horse and wintersun.

I gotta shoutout my boy "Skyforger". This album doesn't get enough love! Dare I say it's their best? Well, you won't convince me otherwise. You've done Sampo already. So you got a taste of it.

I'll just say if you do an album review definitely do it with bonus songs on it. Their bonus songs are amazing as well.

Yes please, an album review from Queen of time 👌🏻 About the composition. Guitarist Esa Holopainen and keyboardist Santeri Kallio have composed the music. On orchestral arrangements, choirs etc they had professional help.

I also think they deserve more recognition and praise 🤘 That's why I keep asking reactors to listen them and also some other bands I think deserve more. I don't know is it becouse they come from small country? Well they have fans here in Europe...and yes, they compose by them self. I also think they all give interviews and promote them self. Sometimes there is one or two guy in a band who do that work but I see them all doing it equally as much.
My goal for next year is to see them live 😁🤘 this year I will finally see Nightwish. And I also will keep asking reactors to react their music, even if I'm repeating my self 😅

I'm metal core/death metal kind of lady, but I love Amorphis. And Nightwish. And Children of Bodom. And Lost Society. And.. and..
    🤘😁🤘
What I try to say is that I need different types of music in my life, going for which mood I am.
(And you probably noticed that bands I mentioned are all Finnish...
I have grown up with these bands (except Lost Society, they are quite young guys, love their energy))

Yeah a review would be interesting to hear. They have new album called Halo coming out in february so maybe you could do a live reaction for that one.
About why some bands have more attention they would deserve and vice versa. It's about being lucky, simple enough for radio and massive promotion machine behind the band. Most have to promote themselfs through social media and doing tons of gigs, Amorphis became very famous at early 90's with Tales from the thousand lakes album. Some see it as a first folkmetal album ever, other's think it's the starting point of melodic death doom genres, so they are kinda revered by metal nerds and by providing great music consistently, they have earned all the hype that goes around the band.
I don't think i have ever met anyone who absolutely hates Amorphis or doesn't like at least some of ther songs. It's usually 2 schools, those who like 90's stuff with the original vocalist and then there is people who revere Tomi Joutsen as a best vocalist ever. When he joined the band, Amorphis was reborn and with a vocalist like that, the styles they can experiment with, is basicly limitless.
