I've also figured out that the statue's with broken inscriptions all give you blessings/buffs if you use the correct emote in front of them (it will be whatever word was in all caps in the inscription, PROVOKE = taunt emote etc.)
6:15 Right, there is no additional priority quest to remind you about upgrading your healing potion on later levels, BUT there's is an indicator, a small up arrow next to your healing potion, doing just that. Giving you an indication if the next possible upgrade is unlocked at the alchemist.

Those bosses cant be crowd controlled regulary but each crowd control cast increases the stagger bar and once it is full, the boss becomes staggered. I've put some adjustments below to two of the tips which have received updates from the devs since the making of this video: #10 - dungeon reset button has been removed - dungeons are reset automatically after a certain amount of time after exiting the dungeon (feedback has been provided to devs to show a timer for this) #14 - altars will be account-wide and SEASON-wide - the only time you'll ever have to find them again is if you switch in/out of hardcore

One of my feedback items from the beta was that a lot of what you talked about here would be difficult for new players to figure out, or take them awhile to figure out, and even for veterans, a lot of this wasn't obvious. My recommended videos are full of tips on how to farm fast, exploit the game, hurry dont miss out on this type of videos and that's not what I'm looking for. I get that people nowadays don't have much time compared to when we were younger but I paid 70 dollars for this game and it just came out. Seriously!!! THANK YOU !!! For this video, it's basic, sweet and simple to understand. Look I'm the complete opposite of a skilled player, I was searching for something easy to understand, something that would explain the simple stuff.
People are still getting statues of Lilith confused, myself and 2 friends tested out lilith statues, In my opinion its better to collect all statues first, since you get stat points, bonus exp increased damage and damage reduction. During last beta and slam, by the time you collect all 28 statues your at max lvl and it only took about hour give or take....The tier 1 is right you get 2 pts to one stat, but tier 2 you get +2 +2 to two different stats after you get first 15 statues again. We also noticed depending on the class you play first gives different stats. Like if you want your main to be a barb or druid, you would play sorc to collect the statues since it give more to str. And vice versa play barb first getting statues gives more Int stats. I did tier 1 with sorc just collecting the lilith statues I ended at lvl 19 1/2 with bonus 100 str and 50 of each other type, 200% more xp on new char 52% more damage reduction on new char. So did tier 2 run on druid still only about a hour collecting the statues, ended with 200 str and roughly 80-100 each other stat. 300%more exp 78% damage reduction on new char. So I made a Druid 3rd char tier 2 as well. total stats when done with statues 300 str and between 150-200 other stats, bonus 500% xp and 95% damage reduction. So 4th char Barb with all bonuses he was to OP So to me fastest leveling , massive boost to stats, pvp reduction, damage buff and reduction is to collect the Lilith towers first. Also like to add my friends started on barb and got more bonus to int and agi in the end 1 chose sorc and othe rogue as their main with huge bonuses. Also remember that parts of map with be pvp open, with the huge bonus to pvp damage reduction and to damage. Collecting the statues first will be a huge advantage. Now I did put our findings on diablo 4 forums with proof of screenshots etc and they was removed...not once but twice
keep in mind that all map progress doesn't carry over to HC. any rewards, like the +2 skill points and +1 potion charge, as well as the altar of lilith progress will have be done again in HC. also if you are playing HC pay attention to monster levels. there are special monsters that can appear, much like the butcher, on the world map randomly and have the capacity to 1 shot you. i barely killed one that dropped lvl 35 gear when i was only lvl 20

legendary drop rates were greatly reduced in this newest beta, so it was a bit difficult to try things out. i didn't find a single one before lv20, and most of the ones i got were from gambling or guaranteed drops like Asheva and Butcher. i did find a few from that lv30+ fort, which was annoying since they have lv21+ req, and cap was 20 lol. i didn't find any that would give a decent build though. Asheva only dropped 1, and a cashe. Butcher is pretty easy by hit and circle him, since his attacks are narrow, but he's def as scary as in D1 ^^ But i learned some new stuff here, thnx :)
At about 16:40 I thought I heard that a large portal will appear at the site of a world event monster. I haven't seen these portals. Where do I look. Not having a mount makes the walk a long one.
So one interesting thing that me and my friends playing during the server slam tested was the legendary drop from the Purveyor of Curiosities(PoC) at different amounts of obols. What we found out is that if you turn on your obols at max amount you where guaranteed a legendary, but only for the 40obol items(armor only) that being said you of course could definitely chance it and get multiple legendaries before your obols hit max but you mostly would not get even one. Also when we did the max obols legendary farm we would get the legendary before we spent half of the 505 obols we had. So farming back to max fast and easy. Disclaimer tho: like I said before this only worked on the 40obol cost items so we only farmed armor, this was during the server slam so even tho the legendary drop rate was supposed to be what it will be at release that could change. And I know you will be able to increase the amount of obols you can carry in the retail game but idk if that will effect this farm or not? Idk if this was common knowledge but I had not seen any videos on this way of obtaining legendaries but me and my friends used it to get a ton before the server slams end and it was very fun. I hope this helps people farm legendaries more efficiently.
The game has been completely reworked since this video was made. General consensus is that it's for the better. I've been enjoying Season 4 and look forward to the expansion.

This was one of the most helpful D4 videos that I've watched. Just to verify: when an item specifies +50% on hit, that means 50% on top of your base weapon damage. Is that correct? If you have another +50% on another item do you multiply or add? Thanks!
When you reroll a stats, how do you know what choice do you have ? For example, if I reroll +dexterity on a weapon, how do you know if « critical strike chance » can on appear each reroll ?
are there enemies in D4 that are completely immune to certain element? For example if make a mage and make him pure ice mage, will i ever run into enemies that are immune to ice damage?
The Butcher showed up in like the first dungeon I ran in the early access beta, I thought he was the last boss. I hit him a few times and then I ran screaming like a little girl until he got tired of chasing me.
The gem advice section is a little lacking. Was hoping it would tell me at what levels you can upgrade them to the next tier. I think you can upgrade to normal gems at level 40.
Wait so I never have to pick up legendarys if it's just sent to stash, feel like that would be nice on some runs but I'd always be paranoid it wouldn't get sent to stash, rip inventory spaces

question, do the same imprinted legendary effects stack? for example: "damaging an elite enemy gives me a X barrier for X seconds." lets say I put one on my chest and one on my gloves or any other armor which is available. Will the effect work twice so Im getting 2 overlapping barriers (or they both give the shield added to each other at the same time) or will only ONE effect of a legendary work
I don’t think so. At least from my testing they don’t stack. It could be specific effects that don’t stack while others still do. If one of the aspects is greyed out, it means it doesn’t stack

I think in particular stacking aspects could be important for builds that are reliant on increasing specific stats like fortify.
I'm new to diablo and Im still having trouble understanding everything and the game doesn't explain everything well ..like what is a barrier? Is that like a over shield or over heal and if so how do I know when it's active?
Lot's of things that block damage are considered "barriers" but if you are referring to the one aspect of "deal more damage while a barrier is active" it is referring to a very specific / pure barrier that you get from another aspect "when you damage an elite gain a barrier for x amount of damage". It's nuanced in an annoying and unexplained way, but if you do have both those aspects you will notice a damage buff pop up whenever the barrier aspect is triggered (it looks like a bubble shield around you)
There are multiple "basic attack" skills. I explain how to assign weapons to each skill, but to assign a skill you just go to the skill menu and drag/drop or select it and where it goes on your skill bar. Hope this helps. Are you Keyboard Mouse or Controller?

That's honestly a refreshing mechanic and I'm not even one who usually uses CC heavy builds because they don't usually affect boss types in most games

Elixers. Craft them at the alchemist, where you upgrade your health potion. Gives (also) xp boost.

It states they are shared between all characters on the realm, Hardcore is a different realm just as the seasonal realms will be a different realm.

There's no healing class , it's not a trinity type game. Barbs do have support like abilities but that's it
Rumors that Paladins will be back on launch, they would be the closest to a healing class historically.

I'm new to diablo and Im still having trouble understanding everything and the game doesn't explain everything well ..like what is a barrier? Is that like a over shield or over heal and if so how do I know when it's active?
Lot's of things that block damage are considered "barriers" but if you are referring to the one aspect of "deal more damage while a barrier is active" it is referring to a very specific / pure barrier that you get from another aspect "when you damage an elite gain a barrier for x amount of damage". It's nuanced in an annoying and unexplained way, but if you do have both those aspects you will notice a damage buff pop up whenever the barrier aspect is triggered (it looks like a bubble shield around you)

how do you assign basic attack?
There are multiple "basic attack" skills. I explain how to assign weapons to each skill, but to assign a skill you just go to the skill menu and drag/drop or select it and where it goes on your skill bar. Hope this helps. Are you Keyboard Mouse or Controller?
