I am happy with my university marks. The results I received was unexpected because it was an academic merit where I scored the highest among all the sections (Highest QPA Award). I was shocked when my classmates bombarded me with congratulations because I always look down on my self all the time and just hoped to get a passing mark. You are my inspiration to study hard and smart Faye.

Hey faye!!! Well I'm studying in grade 8 and we had our midterm 1 results out today, and guess what!!! I topped the class, I was soo shocked when I heard that i got a 92.5%, I would like to thank you very much for giving me motivation to study harder
@@ms_slytherin cause that's literally the same as indians......in India we have soo much high standards for marks which is nothing but rote learning like literally 80% is considered low and the mentality is if you want to become successful your percentage should be above 98% like bro wth.......marks like 90% are literally considered average........... parents are so focused on their child's marks rather than their learning which is really depressing..........even I'm in 8th and I just get so overwhelmed by the pressure of being the best, it's not even half way through the semester and I'm already tired of it most tiring days of my year are these exam days where I'm barely able to get 5hrs sleep at night........there is no value for learning just scoring marks....... sometimes I just wish to disappear from this world cause of this f*cking pressure 😣😣

My recent exam marks were really bad but it was all on me ( even though i say this to myself I might've literally cried this entire summer vacation) my school is re-opening this week and when it does, by October we have another set of exams so hopefully I do better on that one, and avoid the mistakes I had made last time . My worst mistakes were -> listening to music. -> too much distraction -> not practicing enough -> depending too much on the textbook alone and the most worst one would be my time management. I would cram everything up to the last day, and not get enough sleep, Studying the day before really is useless. LOVE YOU FAYE!! KEEP GOING!! SO PROUD OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Btw i didnt do well on my recent exams but I am happy because i exactly know where i went wrong. I know I have room for improvement and i can do even better and the best next time. I think it's a waste to think anything negative about it. Life is all about learning and moving on so yeah. The important part about failing is how much did you learn from it. If you enjoyed the journey then failure isn't a big deal. I have knowledge and that's important. If someone is sad about their failure, it's okay to fail sometime. It could had been a shock for me because Ive been a straight A's student and then failing was a different kind of pain heh. But you gotta move ahead.

Hello faye, love your content and ur tips! You really motivate me to do better💜 I have been dealing with burn out these days and I don't know how to overcome it. In my field we need to study atleast 12-14 hours per day and 10+ hours is a bare minimum and most of the days I can do it but I get exhausted after 3-4 days and waste the next day (and sometimes 2 days) completely and I really don't want to waste time as my exams are within 5 months and it's very crucial for me to get a good rank. Please help how to not waste days/time and be productive every single day😭😭😭

On a side note It felt like this video was created and shared in a good timing because for the longest time ever of my life dealing with academia (3 yrs diploma, now entering 3rd year of my undergraduate degree), i never felt like i cared about my grades, bcuz i believed that im bad at it. As a compensation i will do my best in my coursework, so that i dont feel too hopeless doing my final exam. However after im finally enrolled in my major (the first two years are for fundamental subjects),i slowly begin to see improvement. As usual putting more effort in coursework, and "redho" in my final, but my grades for my previous semester was better than my worst expectations. So i took that as my motivation to aim higher from that moment on..ig? This semester i went literally all out not just in my coursework but my final exam revision strategy (and huge part of this is THANKS TO YOU), all this while juggling with my (first ever) part time job, internship application (building resume/cv was a learning curve). Now my current sem result is still far away and i do still have that "lowest grade expectations" just so that i didnt get too disappointed but your video made me feel differently, in a way that i should celebrate the positive change i have been experiencing regarding my relationship with academia and im looking forward to overcome some challenges rather than cowering away. Okay this has been too long, thank you to anyone who read this till the end. ☺️

I'm in the sophomore year of university and I took 9 classes in my last semester. Analytical and nuclear chemistry Organic chemistry Thermodynamics Ecology and plant biology Plant structure and growth Classical genetics Environmental sciences Comparative anatomy Insect biology I got 7 A passes one A- and one B+ I only had one month to study because I've wasted a lot of time during my semester without studying at all. Cramming was actually really hard and I'm learning to practice active recall and spaced repetition from your videos so I don't have to do cramming like crazy when the exams are around the corner. And you did great girl!!!!!

Hello faye, love your content and ur tips! You really motivate me to do better💜 I have been dealing with burn out these days and I don't know how to overcome it. In my field we need to study atleast 12-14 hours per day and 10+ hours is a bare minimum and most of the days I can do it but I get exhausted after 3-4 days and waste the next day (and sometimes 2 days) completely and I really don't want to waste time as my exams are within 5 months and it's very crucial for me to get a good rank. Please help how to not waste days/time and be productive every single day😭😭😭
One of the best things I did to reduce the chances of getting burn out is to schedule in self-care/me-time first~
because we are so overwhelmed with work, sometimes we forget to prioritise our mental health or find time to do things that we enjoy
So scheduling in your self-care time, then working your responsibilities like work and school around it can really help~
You might find that you're even more productive when you study because you're well rested. All the best 💞

On a side note It felt like this video was created and shared in a good timing because for the longest time ever of my life dealing with academia (3 yrs diploma, now entering 3rd year of my undergraduate degree), i never felt like i cared about my grades, bcuz i believed that im bad at it. As a compensation i will do my best in my coursework, so that i dont feel too hopeless doing my final exam.
However after im finally enrolled in my major (the first two years are for fundamental subjects),i slowly begin to see improvement. As usual putting more effort in coursework, and "redho" in my final, but my grades for my previous semester was better than my worst expectations. So i took that as my motivation to aim higher from that moment on..ig?
This semester i went literally all out not just in my coursework but my final exam revision strategy (and huge part of this is THANKS TO YOU), all this while juggling with my (first ever) part time job, internship application (building resume/cv was a learning curve).
Now my current sem result is still far away and i do still have that "lowest grade expectations" just so that i didnt get too disappointed but your video made me feel differently, in a way that i should celebrate the positive change i have been experiencing regarding my relationship with academia and im looking forward to overcome some challenges rather than cowering away.
Okay this has been too long, thank you to anyone who read this till the end. ☺️

I only had one month to study because I've wasted a lot of time during my semester without studying at all. Cramming was actually really hard and I'm learning to practice active recall and spaced repetition from your videos so I don't have to do cramming like crazy when the exams are around the corner.

I also wanted to say, if you find difficulty in maths, just practice it A LOT. The more sums you do the easier math will get. Your results will always be based on how much you practiced.
