They need to knock 20k off the price of these. If they did I'd buy one tomorrow, but for now I'll just keep my rust bucket f150. Over 50k for this is nuts.
They are HIGH because the EPA is making them a dying breed. Check out this headline "Ram To Discontinue the 1500 Classic and Its Hemi V8 After 2024". I really wish people would understand how radical & how much Influence on the Free Market Federal Agencies like the EPA are before they vote. You should always be critical of people claiming they need huge amounts of power because there intentions are good.
I just picked up a 2024 Worlock Classic with a hemi last weekend. Sticker was $55,300. It has the full center console, bigger screen, auto dimming rearview mirror, bigger screen on the gauge cluster, some leather on the door panels and it was marked down to $43,600.
I leased my 2014 Hemi Express for 36mos at $289 Sign an Drive $0 Down. Bought it out at lease end for $19.5k. It needed an ABS Module and a Fuel Tank sensor in 10 years of ownership. I've got 94k miles and I see people selling 4th gen Rams on AutoTrader with 250-300k miles. Sure I'd like some of the new features but these trucks ride and tow beautifully and I love the Cross Hair Grill.
No e -torque, no auto/start stop... 100% my favorite truck, I had 2 now '18 express v6 and a 22 warlock Hemi, both beat my expectations. I sold both fairly quickly ( below 50,000 miles ) ... really wish they would put more effort into under body coating and protection specially for the regions that see winter / heavy rain
Why not look into a Nissan Titan? I believe they are getting/were discontinued, but it’s a standard 5.6l V8 no auto start stop, cylinder deactivation etc. Built much better than any other American truck I’d bet as well.
Wow I bought my 2019 for 55k, a Big Horn with with some nice optional equipment like ram box, 3.92, 9 speaker system, 8 inch touch screen, spray in bed liner and some other stuff. Just ridiculous the price of trucks now. I mean this should be a 45k truck at most!
Get the extended warranty. I did not. My 2022 Classic had the clock spring go bad at 43,000 miles. It was about $1,500. Seems to be a solid truck but a $1,500 repair on a 2 year old truck on apart that every vehicle has makes me nervous to continue. I’ll have to stay put for now.
I figure as long as they are still building the HD's with this old cab they will still offer the classic or until they run out of Hemi's. Hemi production has ended.
Maybe if you live in the frozen tundra of the north with salt all over the roads and you never wash it. Had one that was 12 years old and the undercarriage and body still looked brand new. Never garaged.
I’m fine with this truck compared to the new stuff there making today I have a 19 classic with hemi and no etorqe and I’m thing late this summer of buying a new one I’m still not for the etorqe models on new rams or turbos in other brands so I might just buy another one with Strightline hemi love my hemi

For that price Ill keep my 21 Big Horn 5.7 W/O E torque. Lease buy out is $34k plus tax. 36,000 by the time it do to return or buy. These prices are off the hook. Mortgag a house it my be cheaper. Lol
And wheels plus the LED tail lights, my personal favorite trim of the 4th Gen RAM in quad cab of course. But I have a 2012 Express with the HEMI and six speed transmission 2wd dual exhaust.
That truck should be $40k ram I just don’t understand I just bought a night edition 2024 1500 bighorn $64k didn’t have smart door handles. Didn’t have LED head lights or a bed liner. Just ridiculous.
I Like This, But With The 6 Cyl. Personally I Don't Want Or Need The Latest Electronic B/S, Apple Car Play, Blah, Blah! Don't Like This Truck? Fine Go Buy Something Else!
I think it's great they still sell the 4th gen.....however, I think it's ABSOLUTELY INSANE they want $54k for it! The same truck that's been out for 2 decades....for $54K?!?!?!? Maybe $34K
@@povertyspec9651 sadly Nissan couldn't get customers to snagged over from the other five rivals to at least keep them in the the market, but I love my 2012 RAM hemi and it been a great truck for me and would love to have a Titan and a Silverado (childhood favorite)
Stelltrashis just killed these as of 08/09/24, laying off the workers that make them. Way overpriced and a Nissan Titan is a better truck for less money.

I have a 2019 classic bought it brand new and still runs great.
$54k for a '24 with that instrument cluster and infotainment display should be a crime
lol the 2013 has the same interior
You can typically get these trucks for 10-15k off. Just month to month depending on the incentives from ram. Not a bad deal for 40k
lol for real
Oh really , what about the ride quality and durability, how about great gas mileage for. V8 how about engine performance and crash safety 😂
Best I can do is 34k. What it’s worth.
I love the simplicity, but at the same token, it's going to be a workhorse.
Old school good truck

Why discontinue the Hemi when it gets just as good MPG as the current six cylinders?

Looks like it fell out a time machine from the mid 2000s. But I get it, and for what it is, it's great.
Wow, I hope there is a 2025 ram 1500 classic, but I hope it keeps going through the years
Probably with the newer body style that is now calling new Classic, while all-new Ram 1500 comes out in 2027.
This is how Dodge sells unsold inventory stick a big “Classic badge” to it and there you go
$53K...paid $53K for my 2022 (bought new) Chevy Trail boss LTD Custom 6.2 midnight edition. Fully loaded Custom.
The difference between the two is price vs cost. You looked at the price and forgot the cost.

I love the Classic. My favorite truck next to the 3rd gen. Not interested in the 5th gen whatsoever.

At least it still has a v8
I’m a fan of these, will eventually get a 3.6 classic, but I’ve gotta say, 1500 lbs payload with the 5.7 is sad..
I want one so bad but can’t get one for a couple years yet sadly, hopefully they will still be making then
I like that you can still get the 6.5 foot bed w/the full crew cab.
You can with the express but not the warlock. That warlock is kind of like an extended cab but not crew
Insane Ram Ben !! ❤❤
Will this be the last year of the classics?
Be cool if the Hemi lived on in the classics.
Great video as always.
I figure as long as they are still building the HD's with this old cab they will still offer the classic or until they run out of Hemi's. Hemi production has ended.
Just announced 24 is last year for the classic
If it was raining during the video, the truck would be 70% rusted by the end of the video.
lol it's so sad but I can def. agree these rust really quickly ... I still like em
Maybe if you live in the frozen tundra of the north with salt all over the roads and you never wash it. Had one that was 12 years old and the undercarriage and body still looked brand new. Never garaged.
2024 warlock on car gurus near me for $41,995. New body style, not the new, new body for 2025. Seems like this is overpriced by a bunch.

As much as I love ram trucks, this specific model should be at least $40,000 dollars 😮
For that price Ill keep my 21 Big Horn 5.7 W/O E torque. Lease buy out is $34k plus tax. 36,000 by the time it do to return or buy. These prices are off the hook. Mortgag a house it my be cheaper. Lol
Toyota should do this with the 2nd generation Tundra.
I think with the current heavy issues with their 3.5, they will have to 😂
They’re going to end up discounting it I imagine…..
I would take it
Wow I like it
My 2014 sport had those same headlights.
And wheels plus the LED tail lights, my personal favorite trim of the 4th Gen RAM in quad cab of course. But I have a 2012 Express with the HEMI and six speed transmission 2wd dual exhaust.
I rather have this than the new one.
It’s a truck guys get over it. Make it under $50000 and they will sell😊 hey I’m a ford guy and I’m interested in this truck!
So Stellantis can barely sell their new models and they keep building old models from 2018.
This or a last gen tundra
53000 is nuts for something like that
I thought 💭 it was a new RAM 1500 for model year 2024 it looks like as if it’s a 2010 or a 2014
Just stick a "classic" badge on it. 😂😂
@@Blue-moon12 wow it’s e a s y huh
Apparently stupid Stellantis is doing away with the classic line
Tick tick tick.
35,000 that’s it
No tow hooks
Wonder if this will get the Hurricane in 2025
I can’t believe they still make this relic… No other manufacturer does this..
That truck should be $40k ram I just don’t understand I just bought a night edition 2024 1500 bighorn $64k didn’t have smart door handles. Didn’t have LED head lights or a bed liner. Just ridiculous.
Way to much for a very basic pickup needs be a much more basic affordable price
What transmission the new zf
I didn’t understand truck people until my boss let me drive her warlock…
I Like This, But With The 6 Cyl. Personally I Don't Want Or Need The Latest Electronic B/S, Apple Car Play, Blah, Blah! Don't Like This Truck? Fine Go Buy Something Else!
All the previous gen models that didn’t sell so they call them 2024s
Thought you moved to Montana ?
No, just looked at it
Stellantis' prices are PIRACY.
Go look at ford prices and youll shit ur pants
I think it's great they still sell the 4th gen.....however, I think it's ABSOLUTELY INSANE they want $54k for it! The same truck that's been out for 2 decades....for $54K?!?!?!? Maybe $34K
Good luck with that. You are better off buying very used or Honda Civic.
You can probably get if for 44k .. in this inflationary times .. its a great price .. as small trucks are going for 40 grand or more.
No thanks, just get a Nissan. The shifter knob thing is not good...
Last year of the Titan before it's discontinued by production.
@@brandedmcgowan9414 Titans are much better than any Ram.
@@povertyspec9651 sadly Nissan couldn't get customers to snagged over from the other five rivals to at least keep them in the the market, but I love my 2012 RAM hemi and it been a great truck for me and would love to have a Titan and a Silverado (childhood favorite)
I don’t believe that’s a warlock
U don't even get a power Amp in bed
When USA let China put their trunks in the country this brands will be in danger really cause half the price you can obtain the same truck
Stelltrashis just killed these as of 08/09/24, laying off the workers that make them. Way overpriced and a Nissan Titan is a better truck for less money.
A brand so bad that it causes many headaches
The same looking truck as I drove in 2006.
Why does ram continue to build this old style ugly looking truck. Its beyond me
I STILL prefer this "ugly" Fourth Gen RAM over the fifth generation and any other truck (I'm a GM fan) for the price.
