    Here it is the post that sent me down the lifted van rabbit hole 11 years ago. U-Joint is mentioned in the post too. 11 years later Action Van Suspension / Larry is the only one in the lifted van/4wd conversion industry to reach out to me www.sportsmobileforum.com/forums/f24/2wd-lift-kit-install-and-review-part-i-ii-iii-and-verdict-8121.html

    Love the content john, I bought my first van which was an 1989 ford E-150 boogie van that was unfortunately totaled a few months after I got it. Really wanted another van but didn’t like the look of modern ones until I stumbled upon the lifted ones and found your channel. I bought a 02 ford e350 extended body moto van, I took the wall down and currently have a similar no build setup to yours expect I have my bench seat installed towards the front and my futon in the back, all the windows towards the back of the van already were boarded up and blacked out so I have total privacy when camping and I can still hold passengers I’m saving up to do an all bedliner paint job and maybe a 3 inch lift kit but TBH I kinda enjoy being able to go though drive thrus and park in a garages, I work in the film industry so I load my van up with gear whenever duty calls

      Hey man nice to see you stop by again. I remember you asking about Slick Ricks van that's why when I saw Slick Rick again I filmed more of his van. I wish you would share your van more on instagram man. Love seeing peoples builds. Send me a pick anytime man it's comments like yours that keep me hyped up about this hobby even after 12 years of talking about this. I'll ask Arthur if he Ever takes his Van into parking garages. Vans are tall as it so I know even stock is cutting it close!

    Lifted van bro's.... What makes 2WD a viallble option is the rear locker....the rear locker is a game changer

      Most people who lift their vans just want to look cool and have extra clearance for camp grounds. 2wd lift kits are a great way to look like a 4x4 and not spend $20K

      Ford Excursions and Chevrolet Suburbans have 3 rows of seats. These have 4 rows of seats! th-cam.com/video/maEg2rKmGD8/w-d-xo.html

      That would be cool if Larry took up my offer. It's always out on the table for him and Big Action Van Decal on my van is great advertising for him. Your van is awesome! Mountain Decal is on my to do list! Your van will be so sick lifted! Gotta get the louvers on the back window like you have too!

    I noticed you have a tv inside your van. Do you have an inverter installed to the chassis battery or wired to an auxiliary battery?

      @JohnDrivesAnything thanks man! Big help. I realized i need to build the inside of my rig first to establish its weight before getting my lift kit. Thank you!

      @JohnDrivesAnything  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No problem. Another video I want to elaborate more is on weight distribution. Try to evenly spread out the weight on the interior build out and try to keep weight on or ahead of the rear axle. More weight behind the rear axle hurts handling. I'm thinking of the physics part of it and that's why car makers like mid engine and not rear engine designs

      @JohnDrivesAnything thank you. I currently have a pull out couch located behind the driver seat, however, I'm going to build shelving units along the sides heading towards the back. I would still like to be able to carry large items in the back

    Hey john! Ive been watching your videos and just realized i wasnt subscribed, am now. I have a 1997 e350 that I've been working on for a year now. Been camping in it through out the various stages of the build and loving it! I enjoy your enthusiasm and can see why...im not lifted yet but i plan on it in the future. Thanks for your videos, wish i could come to a meet, im in SC but it would be an adventure to get to you guys...

      Comments like yours is why I been making these videos for 12 years! I was on a island all alone 10 years ago and it's cool seeing more people with lifted vans or wanting a lift!
      I might not do a meet this year because I'm going through a major life change but will make up for it and do more meets in 2025. I have lots of friends getting lift kits and vans this year so i know a lot of my friends are busy with van builds.
