Porsche Taycan gets PPF and Ceramic Coating

- This 2023 Porsche Taycan came to us straight from the dealership with just over 40 miles on it. After ceramic coating the owners other car, a BMW X7 a few months prior, he knew he needed to have the Taycan done up as well. Except this time we went a little more. We wrapped the whole front end and rocker panels in PPF, polished out the whole car, applied Gtechniq ceramic coating to the paint, wheels, glass and plastic (sorry, some not shown in the video due to busy days and no camera man sometimes!). We also tinted the windows with 50% film. Something nice and light to still show the gorgeous red interior WHICH was also ceramic coated.

I get the added value of PPF, but what does Ceramic coating do exactly? just keeps it cleaner longer?
Prevents clear coat etching, makes a lot essier to clean and prevents UV fading in a long run.
