Man, you can really tell how much more relaxed Cristine is on camera now, she's just being herself instead of playing an upbeat stereotypical youtuber character. It's neat to see and makes me understand why she likes streaming so much more. It's way less exhausting than having to be high energy all the time.
Right!? I miss her videos but I'm so glad she is happier.
Same I'm grateful she's happier and we are able to have stream highlights because I never have the time or patience for a whole stream 😅😅😅
i definitely agree with you that Cristine looks a lot more relaxed! it's great!
though on streaming versus pre-filmed content, i don't think its necessarily less exhausting. some people feel more pressure because while the super hyper persona is not necessarily as expected it is still necessary to be high energy enough to remain entertaining for multiple hours on end and there is the factor of get instant reactions from fans, it can be overwhelming because generally speaking streamers are constantly checking and reacting to chat in addition to whatever streamed content they're producing (again factor in the idea that you're doing this for multiple hours at a time) and if reactions are bad or there are bad actors in the chat it is that much more in the creators face because its happening "live". there's also the expectation that streamers are more frequently active, going live only once a week is not enough, the expectation is usually every other day at least and for people doing streaming full time the expectations can be closer to everyday, if not multiple times a day for at least a few hours at a time. this is of course not to say that streaming is more difficult than pre-filmed content at all, they're just different and suffer from different drawbacks.

@@pandabugdiaries2384 Well, yeah, streaming isn't all fun and games all the time but she's said it herself that she enjoys it more because she gets instant feedback and isn't just alone in a room staring at a camera. She's got a smaller audience on streams which means less pressure and more freedom to be herself. Which is great. :)
I appreciate that Cristine can see her old video persona and laugh while cringing. I feel like every youtuber absolutely hates on their own old videos but she has a more "I'm glad I'm not like that anymore but I'm also grateful that I did this whole youtube thing back then."

She said it in the video it's because she lost alot of files and there was big gaps so she just never published it
honestly i think itd be cool to see cristine do this kind of polish mountain again on a new fake hand (cant destroy history by removing the nails) with all of her holo taco polishes (so slightly more manageable ':D), and if shes feeling ambitious, it could be each nail is a different category like one cremes, one holos, one shimmers, or just toppers etc. depending on how itd work out and then one nail with everything, but since it took her so long to do the first one, maybe she could do it like 1 coat an hour (for each different finger so its not one coat, one finger but all 5 at once with different) on streams until they get through them all, but even that might be too much

Have you ever played one of those stack games? The same way the stack gets smaller as you go up the same way the nail polish does. If you miss a small section every time you put a layer on then it will get smaller.

I guess it wasn't what she loved, just like Jenna. We all thought they loved what they did, until they abruptly stopped. It didn't feel fake or forced. It's like losing a friend.
i loved her awkward yet wild energy. it was very relatable. and i loved the tutorials. she literally is the reason i paint my nails. as a young boy going through high school, that meant a lot ... i certainly wouldnt have had the courage otherwise. now im close to graduating uni so self-realised because she inspired be to wear nails at high school all those years ago. but she may never know how impactful she was.
i am so happy for her evolution. and though i havent watched her streams, i dont think ill ever fully drop her. ive been here since around 100k. it was never and wont ever be like losing a friend ... its more like moving on but knowing you can always visit,
