Today’s photo is from Bowman Field during the first ESPN Game Day that broadcast from Clemson in October of 2006.

Trivia Answer: Clemson Sports Information Director Tim Bourret suggested to ESPN to broadcast on Bowman Field, because Clemson played its games there when John Heisman was the head coach, and ESPN loved the historical connection. On top of that, it was Homecoming, so the colorful displays made a great backdrop for the broadcast.
