The early TPI the issue is the MAF , only flows 500 CFM ........pull out screens and cut the heat sink back can get 600 to 625 CFM . cam and runners and heads are tiny ports and valves Pulls to 5000 RPM and drops dead ,
I never particularly cared much for the look of the Edelbrock runners compared to the SLP and Accel pieces, but looks aren't everything I guess, lol. I've only ever used SLP runners in the past.
yeah the openings are important but thats a lot of tube!! what do they measure inside the length of the tubes?? and is the 300$ + for aftermarkets worth it?? put them on a dyno engine!!!! majority of what you are saying is arbitrary!!!!! what does "pretty good" mean as far as actual performance gains??? hahahahha do you even own a tpi car????
I'm surprised that the Edelbrocks were that good. My dad's 89 corvette had Edelbrock heads and base manifold and the core shift and casting flash was really bad on them both.
what do you use to bore the inside of the curvature of the intake to keep a constant size the whole way threw? My wife has a 91 corvette with a L98 and im trying to free up some more hp so she can keep up alil better with my 05 GTO that has a LS2

Putting tube diameters in a table would be helpful
AS&M measure 1.63mm
What about the ball enlarging the stock runners?

Slow down.
You going to need a lot more than runners if you want that vett to even touch your GTO I had an '06 GTO.
