Such a magical time of year Steve; a time of renewal and rebirth. I know that your wood is in good hands. No better place to be than in a deciduous woodland springing to life. Marvellous footage as always. The nuthatch is a beautiful and tenacious woodland inhabitant. They boss my bird feeders when they visit lol. I have been spending time in my permission woodland, 40 acres of heaven, helping with hazel coppicing, charcoal making and a bit of hedgelaying mainly using billhook and bowsaw with plans to do more come next autumn/winter. I like the kettle and am tempted but already have more than enough cook and brew kit but still I am tempted 🤔😁👍😊
Hey Steve it’s nice to see you back out in the woods. Spring seems to be what we’ve all been praying for (the light at the end of the tunnel) hopefully things are going to start returning to a sensible level soon. Stay well. Chris. ⛺️
Hi Steve, So great to see you are back and in good health, we've missed your outings greatly as I'm sure you have as well. Stay safe, and healthy my friend. Cheers, David
Hi Sandy. That sounds good. I can't wait for the day we can travel further. I love the woods, but I need wide open spaces also, I'm longing for long views. Thanks for watching. Steve.
Thanks Steve. Been a few reasons why I've been away, busy with work, lockdown, but mainly a broken camera. Got my eye on a new one, hopefully that will encourage me to video more. Thanks for watching. Steve.

What a nice surprise to see a new video pop up from you in my subs list, Steve! Nice, too, to see spring happening somewhere. Barring any late season blizzards, we should be on our way to those conditions in a few weeks here in northern Wisconsin. Great job on the felling.
Hi. We don't get much snow here usually, but this year we had a few very cold days (for us). But spring does seem to be hear again early. Shouldn't complain, I do love spring. Thanks for watching as usual. Steve.
A dead tree is good for nature either stood or on the ground. It is safer on the ground when people are around. Often, cut trees will send out new shoots from the stump, copicing is beneficial for a forest. Thanks for watching. Steve.
Steve, so nice to see you with this beautiful video. Thank you for sharing. Cheers.
Glad you are back, Steve. I always enjoy your content. Cheers.🙂👍🍄🍅🥕🧄🥗

Hi Steve, are they your own woods? Great videos, all the best, Paul.
Yes, I've had them for a few years now, the last 3 years have been actively managing them. Thanks for watching. Steve.
If the tree is almost dead you cut it down but if you almost dead would they put you down?
