I'll take what I can get. If they were stuck with only KH1 and 1.5 assets to pull from music wise, I don't care. KH is in SMASH and that is all that matters to me. Plus I can just play whatever music from the other games on my phone. (I did that with The Other Promise when fighting the Roxas spirit and got it on my first try with the crescendo happening when I delivered the final blow.)

I payed $60 for this one song. Usually something like this isn’t worth it, but I was extremely close to 100% Smash Ultimate. I did all spirits (all 1513), all achievements (besides the play [super insanely high number] of battles), and everything like that. I got all the mii costumes through Gold Points. This song was the last thing I need. So I bought melody of memory. I genuinely love this song so much, it’s easily one of my favorite songs in smash, might be within top 5 favorite DLC songs.

Though it came with a great sacrifice they triumph over such a mastermind and now their fates are their own again. I guess that's why it makes me cry.

Even though I've played the games recently listening to this version and the dearly beloved reprise that plays at the stats screen at the end of the game makes me cry nostalgic tears. I played the first one and never finished the second one when I was younger. So glad the games were on gamepass so I was able to play them all. I even got the DLC for the third one and I CANNOT WAIT for the 4th game to come out especially with that girl that apparently died in one of the mobile games because that shows that even people who have died might come back in that game (like Ansem the wise and Eraqus)

Honestly, people say KH1 aged well, but it’s pretty rough, especially if you’re playing through it without a guide. Had me frustrated for so long as a kid. But trust, it will be WORTH it for the masterpiece that is KH2. I do suggest you take note and watch the cutscenes of Re:CoM after beating KH1 and before going into KH2, that gameplay is more frustrating than the first game.
