The matte tape is a great step up in quality. And for some reason I can't take my eyes away from the venom head. It's soo good!
i know you’ve probably heard this a million times but your models look amazing. this was the final push i needed to finally begin making my own figures. i’ve been procrastinating for a year now, and set high goals and expectations that are probably impossible to live up to. but this year my main goal is to cut my procrastination back a lot, since last year i got practically nothing accomplished. i wanted to make everything perfect and get so much done that i didn’t just let things happen naturally. this year i’m going to focus less on making things flawless but instead just start gaining experience, slowly and overtime. you have seriously been the inspiration i needed to get me to start making figures in my own way. so thank you.
Thank you for being here & showing me something I never realized was possible. I really appreciate you sharing your talents with us & it makes me feel better to see that I'm not the only person with time management issues. I see other people just sitting down & even though it's time lapse seem to finish everything. You show reality on your videos & also show me that it's okay to plan ahead & not get things done as planned, but you keep on going anyway. That sir, shows true determination. You are awesome!
Dude, I was having a bad day before this and now I'm just pumped. Watching the previous videos and seeing how you're trying to be the tightest possible to your production, your art and workflow, really got me thinking about what I do and how can I get better by planning better, by trying new things and improvising when needed. I hope that you see your journey as I'm seeing, you do a incredible job. Thanks for being out here making art and sharing with us, really made my night.

That tweak with the glue and matte tape is NEXT LEVEL!!!
Makes Venom look so much cleaner and when he is completed, I can already picture how dynamic and amazing he will look!

Hahahaha it literally is next level! I've never done a tapeless model before!
Don't think I'll do it every time though since the tape is barely noticeable on lighter colours like a skin tone.
But it was necessary for Venom because black is ruined by any kind of tape

I am so glad you are making a venom model! When I first saw your Superman video I wanted to make my 2nd favorite comic character of course venom. I have the same issue as you, productivity. I've been working through it because I see how cool the things you do are. You are a huge inspiration to me.

you have some awesome talent there . I've had a little experience with paper models (nothing close to yours) but one thing i used to do for curvy parts was to use white glue like a sculpting medium. Didn't like the look of tape so i would put glue on the seem ,wait for it to get a little tacky and the paper to get a little most . Then with a little bit of glue on my fingertips start working it into the shape i wanted. Maybe not the best technique for everything but i hope this helps make your models even better in the future.

It’s honestly impressive how much you’re able to get done with the time you had. I know a lot of my “simple” prop projects end up taking hours and days, and sometimes I end up scrapping them and restarting, so what you’ve gotten done is great! Your artistic ability is amazing too. I’m an artist and I think I do ok, but I’m still practicing and experimenting and learning with color and detail. Also have you ever thought of just using various sized plastic straws for your joints instead of having to make all those rolls of paper? I may not work out, but I think it could save you time if you found just cheap black bendy straws, and then the bendy straws could act as joints too which would give you more range of motion. Just an idea though, I don’t know how well it would work

Have you ever considered painting parts with white glue (Elmer's/School glue)? It could help add to the rigidity/durability of the model overall. The downside would be the extra time it would take waiting for pieces to dry. Since you are using markers, I do not know how the wet glue would affect the coloring. If the color survives the wet glue stage, the glue layer would protect the coloring from humidity and water damage.

I really love watching your videos. It's a great figure so far. You should also try looking into making your own plastic figures. Idk if you're any good with apoxy sculpt or anything of that nature, but it would be cool to see you attempt it.
Wow that looks so awesome I like how you captured all the muscles and strength into the action figure in the definition look so amazing you made it look exactly like it does on the movie looks so cool even though it's not finish I can still see the picture in my head how it's going to turn out really good 👍
looks good! when i first discovered your channel i didnt fully believe it was paper (i thought there were cardboard or plastic frames like you used to do) but upon further inspection, nope! all paper (like stuff) and obviously glue and tape and other craft stuff like that but id be really interested to be able to do this with my own drawings. id also love to see you recreate one of your earlier models!
