@@CrackedWreckingBallProductions Fair. I originally thought the mask looked really bad, but then seeing him change it and add a few things that made it look so good made me realize how much better it is than I gave it credit. As I watched him cut it apart(particularly remove the bottom jaw and eyes of the original mask), my mind instantly went “Hold on, I could totally DIY the bully masks from FNaF 4 if I get these masks and edit them a little bit.” Really cool no less and suddenly makes me want to actually get these masks.
the fact you took into note that freddy doesnt have upper teeth in his FNAF 1 design is an attention to detail most ppl would just glance over in a project like this. amazing job with all of the props!!
It really gives me more of an appreciation for the moulds they use to make these cheap masks. Sometimes they have a really good base they just need an artist like yourself to give it a better paint job.
It's quite prevalent throughout the toy industry to be honest. Not just with masks but with action figures and vehicles as well. There's details in the plastic that just need a bit of work to make them pop. I've watched quite a few videos on here of folks making custom collectables from these things.
I think it's more because they're supposed to look goofy. These are kids costumes. They don't want them looking realistic and actually frightening the children
@@Qayoh_Renzel that’s not it, it’s just because they’re cheap. These are meant to be, like $20 kids costumes. Giving thousands of masks the kind of detail in this video, would skyrocket the price.
I liked both versions of wolverine masks honestly. The og had some good detail but the battle damage is a nice touch. All the rest were incredible fixes
I do have to wonder how easy/hard it is to see through the eye... areas... with them covered in paint like that. The nylon pattern would help, but I feel like it'd still be pretty blurry and/or cloudy.
I saw the skull mask and before you started painting it I thought "that looks a lot like Skeletor" and lo and behold that's what you do with it and it turned out so cool! I also really like the Wolverine mask a lot. Amazing job as always!
I can't believe it's that time of the year again. I'm getting so old. 😢 I'm 24 but I feel like time goes by so quickly. My funeral is at 1:30 tomorrow.
Hey I don't know if it will help but, for cloth if you want to mess it up Try using knives with "teeth", the more the blade is uneven the better it is. And if you want to make it look like it's old or used, use bush and make up. Brown, black, grey. brush around the hole and the edge of the cloth. Really loved what you did, these masks are all amazing
These are awesome. Wish people like you worked for the companies that make these cheap ass masks. Would be a much better value than the crap the sell at the stores these days.
Watching you do this over the years made me want to do the same, so I touched up a devil mask, not a lot but enough. The I did the same for my skull mask, making it look more realistic.
It's amazing how just adding fur/felt to the Freddie mask just makes it so much better
I wonder if He's going to do a Five Nights at Freddy's sculpture

@@coledakers6127 oh that
Honestly it's a testament to how good the mask initially already is for the price

I agree that the original Wolverine mask was really quite good to begin with. The others were pretty meh, so they got a massive upgrade.
Using the clear packaging from the mask to make the visors is some next level brain activity. And that latex metal scuffs technique is a chefs kiss.

@@Fallowsthorn just like through white out contacts I imagine. Same concept.
I hate when they only put a little vision in the eye holes, and then the rest is the non transparent color, it makes the mask look so bad

The Five Nights at Freddy’s one is the most impressive! Good job!
It does look impressive, but as I stated, it could use some adjustments. The fleece in my opinion is a bit too orange

FIRST...of all, you did a splendid job! Secondly, i hope you're doing great. Hats off to you for having the time to do these kinds of stuff.
😂 1😢 1:46 v:46 1:46 😢😢😢
hmm.. splendid...
Why did I read hats off right when he pulled freddy bears hat off of his head 😭
He manages his time well is more like it
With the way he says “splendid” and uses sentences like “hats off to you” I’m gonna have to assume he just got off the Alastor juices😂
My favourite time of year- Steven Richter's Halloween Mask Repaint!👍🏻🇬🇧
I agree
ironically the cheap carnage mask was more comic accurate with the black teeth
I totally agree with you and the face should be smaller. Just looked like a red venom without a tongue. Still cool 😊
I think they were going for screen accuracy

Yeah, word up. Then I tried to give the artist the benefit and thought maybe they were trying to make Toxin. Good skill, but not really Carnage.
@2bDestined it's carnage from Venom 2
My friend! these are absolutely beautifully done! That Freddy bear, i do believe, is my favorite of the bunch!
It never dawns on me that it's spooky season until your repaint videos pop up on my feed lol That FNAF one was my fav.
Putting the layer of felt on the Freddy was genius..these are all fantastic pieces of art work!
Someone finally fixed a crappy FNAF mask 🤩🤩🤩 9:31
2:11 wow the difference is staggering. amazing!
That Skeletor would look scary af in live action, I love it
That Freddy is haunting.... And I never played FNAF. Also that Skeletor mask is clever. The younglings wouldn't know that I'm afraid.
Yes they would, he's kind of a meme
Since my dad grew up in the 70s I've heard of He-man by now haha, he actually has some of his old toys set up in a little case.
bullshit!!!!! born 2003 and grew up with he-man, we all love skeletor
Well, excu-use me, princess! (That was a Zelda reference for those who don’t know)
that wolverine mask was awesome.
just saw this series for the first time and i love it
Seeing them all at the end was jaw dropping. What a fantastic talent
Ah, always refreshing to see the thoroughly absobant work of Steven Richter and his annual halloween mask repainting videos! Brilliant work man!
That Freddy mask blew my mind, but they're all GREAT!
You did an amazing job on the Freddy Fazbear mask
Ok why is satisfying to watch

You did an AMAZING job! I particularly love your Freddy’s mask. It’s purely awesome 🐻
You are definitely talented and gifted. You also work with some pretty cool products. Great job!
The Skeletor 😮 I loved all the masks but I did not expect you to turn that skull mask into Skeletor. Excellent work.

Amazing job! 😮
It's too hard to choose a favorite when everything is well done!
Ive been watching these and your sculpting videos for ages and never realised its the same channel. Youre one heck of an artist dude.
It’s a shame no one will be able to see the incredible work you have done in the dark. Much love keep up the great work brother.

How time flies. I first came across your series last year. You're awesome.
Five Nights At Freddy's was really good, and that Skeletor had me yelling "HE-MAN!"
Great video!
Watching this is so satisfying
Brilliant mate! So relaxing watching these mask upgrade videos. Outstanding work as always!
Awesome job as always!
Do you think you could probably make Topher Grace's Venom? I think it would be pretty awesome to see
Great job as always! Love this series
All at once, so happy to see that you have an etsy shop and soooo sad that there's no Freddy Fazbear mask for sale. That thing looks amazing!
That trick using latex to create paint peel / chip is insane, gonna try it on a future project for sure
Making skeletor out of the grinning skull was an absolute genius move. Looks better than the live action movie
lol that movie was terrible but at least Cannon had a go 😂
Looooove the green skull!! Also the venom at the end with the oohs and the aahs 💅🏽
I look forward to this video every year! I wish these were posted more often!
The last one was amazing, love it. Great job😍😍😍
Heck yeah! that time of the year again babyyyyyyyy
The Venom one 100% is the one with the better glow-up here

that freddy one already started really good
Yeah 👍
The fleece color could be a bit better though
Amazing work. I thought that the skeleton face was the terminator but that was an excellent transformation.
Waiting every year for a banger to drop
Great job on that carnage mask!
Beautifully done!

I love these videos so much! It always makes me want to try my hand at repainting
