I am really liking Antec's resurgence.
I needed Antec's after sales support.
Guys. Antec is the winner.
They are EXCELLENT on that department.
Needed a left side glass panel replacement for Performance 1 FT, which was probably scratched by the couriers. They send me a new one, only some photos sent by me and an RMA form (provided by them) that was not gibberish (ASUS , I am looking at you). In about a month (they needed to receive the panels in EU - they're in Netherlands, I live in Greece), they did send the panel, excellently packaged.
Antec is back!
Glad to see Antec back in the game. Recently started using some of their Signature line of PSUs. Quality has always been decent.
Still using my Antec 1200 - three computer builds later it still is fantastic!
Same here my man, recently pulled out all the drive cages and removed the cage part and kept the fans in, replaced all fans with Noctuas but it's taken me from my Core2Quad days to my 7800x3d and everything in between.
Case design is really on point nowadays. I haven’t seen a bad looking case yet this year.
That ITX case is gorgeous.
second.
(shut up and take my money)
It really is, that front panel just looks amazing. I only wish they had an option without the silver accent.
Glad to see they're back in the game! Looks like good stuff.
As someone with a lot of Antec hardware under my belt from 3 decades ago on I'm really glad to see Antec resurging.
As someone who built like 14 computers in the ANTEC 300 and 302 cases back in the day because of how cheap and well built it was... it's nice to see ANTEC making a come back!
Man, that Performance M1 has GOT to be in my top 3 favourite cases design-wise, ever. That industrial looking front panel is so sleek. Kudos to Antec's design department.
The 900 & 1200 will go down in PC chassis history. Back when the CM HAF & HAF X were Antec's primary competition. Good times.
Still using my Antec P100 case & True Power 750W PSU! Loving the previews of the new/upcoming equipment and might use them for future builds/upgrades.
My first case (1989) was an Antec, and I've liked the company ever since. I am happy to see them making such a remarkable comeback.
So Nice to see Antec 'Back in the Game!' My 1st decent PSU was an Antec 400 Watt model & my 'Home Server' is housed in an Antec 200 Tower!
Used to love my P180, it had a bunch of drive bays, kept things decently cool, and was generally quiet thanks to all the dynamat and drive vibration dampening.
Good to see Antec waking up... I used their cases and PSUs for about a decade until they fell asleep at the wheel. Like the idea of rotating the PSU 90 degrees. Might be a case I look closer at when I get to pushing my 5950X to secondary status in favor of a fully new machine... Hopefully in the fall.
Still rocking the Antec 900 full tower on my old build.
Same, from 2012
The Antec: Performance 1M-WOW! Nice! It would be nice to see that case in a MATX version with a dual 360 RAD (top/Bottom). Or a single 25mm ran with a 60mm RAD in the top only, with vertical GPU support.
My first PC build was in an Antec Sonata II.
Still rocking an Antec ISK 600M and waiting on a replacement not exceeding its dimensions but meeting its functionality and capacity.
My first custom PC chassis was the Antec Skeleton. Need a modern redux of the design.
my antec p100 case has been through multiple builds / revisions / dremel bits, definitely a keeper
I'm an ITX guy but I like seeing full size (and often way too heavy due to all the glass) ATX cases for their airflow and often good solutions for cable management.
When I was a kid, I thought the Antec 900 was so cool. Never got one though
They need to bring back the racing stripes on their PSUs and maybe even on a case.
Woweee! That ITX case looks magnificent!
The Sonata II was my first PC case. It was so cool. My younger brother broke the locked door at the front because- younger brothers.
Love these Antec LED fans! I'm ready to buy
Love the new designs on cases.
Love those Orbit infinity mirror fans
$200 is just a tiny bit too much for me, but it's a nice ITX case anyway, waiting for a sale 😅
Very nice Antec! I remember the Antec LANBOY case.
The mini case is hot. I don't usually like red that much, but man it looks so good.
The PSU's look to be great and case support in some for rear connecting mb's.. well done Antec!
My first complete build was in the Antec Nine Hundred NVIDIA green version
I'd like to see them re-vamp their VSK HTPC-style case (top cpu cooler venting, side fan mounts for slot cooling, SFX/ATX psu compat, $75-100 price point) to compete with Silverstone's ML series. Maybe add a version with a risered GPU ala the ML07.
I love those orbit fans.
The sff case is doooooope !!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
I'm definitely building a ThinkStation themed computer in the performance 1M case
Really enjoy seeing all these new case designs, but the lack of mATX cases makes me a little sad.
Ah the Antec Sonata series
quiet in a time when computers would thunder with low quality fan rattle, HDD read arm seek and click, CD drive spin, floppy drive read, and so much more... it was truly the best case of the early 2000s
Had a few Antec cases over the years but none were as good as the Sonata series and ultimately their newest cases didn't impress
It says a lot about Lian Li's O11D that 5 years later everyone is still copying the design, and the only case I'd consider replacing my O11D XL with is another O11D like case with curved tempered glass... maybe electrochromic glass
Have issues with Antec too. Had a questionable power supply from them, contacted and didn't receive a reply. Tried again, nothing. Got a bit testy with the next one and they sent back a reply with a virus attached to it. Started a complaint with the Attorney General in their state then they apologised. This was a long time ago, haven't bought anything from them since. Lots of awful tech companies out there.
Thanks for the update ! I just hope that all those new cases will be sold for the same price in the EU. Also - enjoy the food XD
I bought Antec Performance 1 FT , for 160€. Which is roughly what you would ideally expect in EU from a $160 MSRP. I live in Greece , where some of those stuff are worse and yet, Antec, manages to keep things down to earth. I used to love this company, I really missed them and now I feel they're back at it!
Love to see choices but still prefer airflow over curved glass
I like all their fans so far.
Really nice cases
I NEED THAT MINI-ITX CASE IN MY LIFE, GIMME!
Anything not from your sponsors Paul?
excellent!
Paul you need a mustache like the guy behind you at the end. I think you could rock that. 😉
Still using my P182SE with a CP850 powering it.
i still use a few antec earthwatts powersupplies, love them, but they are getting almost 10 years old
it lives
I really like the non rgb fan and the itx case. So sad that i honestly need just one pc otherwise i would just be building new ones non stop
The orbit RGB fans are garish. But I am rooting for Antec to come back strong. One of my first DIY PC cases was an Antec case years ago and it served me well for close to a decade.
I enjoyed it and hit the like button. Now, go get some amazing food and pick up Joe's tab! Love the channel!
I can never get over how much companies jump on any bandwagon they see.
Oo those ppl did a case with wood on it and that sold well. Everyone put wood on everything!
love Antec
Threw up all over my ipad while looking at those rgb fans.
Why do most cases have to be glass and flashing lights? I don't want to look like I live on mountain dew and hot pockets.
I wish cases would stop shipping with RGB or non pwm fans. I hate e waste but I always throw them away and install pwm non rgb.
"im getting blasted in the face..." There goes my coffee
I had, wait, still have a old Antec Super LANBoy PC case with a old P4 Win XP system
I really like the 1M
the fans were the hi lite
What about the C5 ARGB ? @Paul
Did Antec tell you "No disassemble" when looking at the Nova fans??
Feels as though all these case manufacturers contacted Zac Builds on TH-cam for inspiration 🤣
am wondering if linus say hi to NG if they meet at computex.
Geez, i guess fans arent done evolving more variations
did antec sf850x just rebrand fsp dagger pro atx 3.0 ?
The Flux Pro looks really similar to Lian Li 207, or is it just me?
orbit fans are dope
Dude, youre biuting vidoes left and right hahah, working hard man, keep it up and remember to enjoy yourelves out there! youre still out of the country haha so indulge in the fare
I have a lot of respect for Antec, but like you say they kind of dissappeared. I have a NAS in an old Antec case that I bought in 2007, it has the original 120mm fans which were kind of a new from factor at the time, i had them in my main PC for 10 years then in my NAS for the last 8 years. I also had an Antec 600 (from 2010?) with the huge 180-200mm fan in the top and 3x120mm, my friend now uses it. None of these fans have failed. Way better than any other brands i have used other than Arctic and Noctua which aren't old enough to have proven themselves as reliable.
Interesting 🤔🤔🤔 on the itx. Don't care for the red tho.... Have to see the review on air flow vs noise. But seriously... No red
I'm really excited about the antec flux pro, the fact that the 2x 120mm bottom intake fans are designed to fit underneath the mesh panel means it can create some nice rgb glow through the mesh holes, perfect for highlighting vertically mounted gpu without being too busy looking. Or non-rgb users can just slap on the highest performing fans down there without worrying about the "ugly" side of the intake fan.
RIP Asus TUF GPU
So its literally a fractal design partnership. The wood frames, all those cases, legit same as fractals cases. Did fractal buy antec? Or just a partnership?
Why is it called Back to front? Shouldn't it be front to back? You're putting connectors that were in the front TO the back right?
i have a lot of Antec Stuff
I would probably give up my Lian Li uni fans for those Antec rgb fans getting really tired of the Lian Li software
i think its time for a antec retro case revive, but the american dollar isnt worth a penny, so no one has money for cases, they will be lucky to not charge food on there credit cards
Wood accents... The 80's are back... lol
4:48 I. Like. Small psu's and I can not like xD sorry Paul. Couldn't help myself
those antec rgb fans will need to come with warnings about causing seizures ,
After the Fractal-Design video any new cases from other manufacturers just look busy and cluttered.
In the name of DATA ‼️‼️ the day a computer company makes a full case with 200 mm fans . I think I will spend my first $100.00 at a slot machine 🙄🙄🙄
Paul I know you dont cover handhelds… I need your perspective on handhelds- love to see some comments on what you think and the emulation/pc gaming side .
lol 7:50 only 1 fan is spinning. asus at it's best
is it worth buying these parts for profit / Building pc to sell?
I feel like I'm looking at 1980's AV Receivers from the 1980's with all this faux wood trim. Don't like it.
It’s real wood tho, but I really like my fractal north since it really suits my room interior. But yeah, every one has different taste
If you lack RGB, are you really gaming?
Out of the companies here except asus. They are expensive and underwhelming. Sorry antec.
FIRST
Who cares!!
Very few are iterating on the Asus AP201 Matx case design, we need more designs based on that that are budget oriented due to ITX high cost and also gives more airflow to all the components.
