The only video I’ve seen where the dog wasn’t pre trained before the video. This is so much more relevant to how our puppy is reacting!
I forgot they have four feet lol
Luna Moon did u forget that too? I thought two
Jade X same lol!
Lol how
I always thought it was 2 feet and two 2 paws... what do I know?
Me too lol
I was trimed my puppy's nail before this pop up n I discovered her four feet then I got scared n thought my pup is a disable one...
Thanks for the video. It was very helpful in assisting trimming my German Shepherd puppy's nails. I didn't think of using regular nail trimmers.
I have a German Shepherd puppy too ... I wanted to cut her nails but someone said if I Dont do it right she will get some sort of infection... I booked an appointment with a groomer for her. i wish i saw this video before lol. does your pup bite u a lot?
1:33 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 his facial expression! 🤣🤣🤣💛💛🤣🤣
Thank you for this video though, for real, not just for the comical facial expressions of the adorable puppy, but your video is giving me the confidence to do this.
Ty again for this upload 🙏🙏
Great job definitely needed the tips Thank You 😊
Nice video. Thanks, Just what I needed.
That’s what I did with mine Lol
Works great.
My puppy did same thing with the biting LoL
At what age do you start to clip the nails please?
Removing nails is the most challenging part for me😂😫
Me too.......I fear it for weeks
Oh the drama 🤣
She had AirPods before AirPods
Plot twist: she invented the airpods 🤣
omg the dog reaction when she told "ah ah NO.." it's so funny and adorable 1:23
Hahahaha cute!
His eyes going wide 😂 so cute haha
Thank you for posting this video! Puppies are usually pretty bitey and wiggley and it was nice to see a real interaction!
im SO distracted. He is SOOO cuuuute
Bitto One LoL ikr
I can't even clip my kids nails cause I get so nervous about hurting them. This definitely made it look easy
Thanks for posting this. Very helpful and also showing that its normal for the puppy biting. I forget they're puppies. Makes me think they're hurting but i see they're just like babies with so much energy to spare!
Glad we could help! Little Mountain here is now a full grown boy who loves getting his nails trimmed and the yummy stuff that always follows!
I just did this with my jack russell pup...(I had to distract her with a peanut butter stuffed kong) and her nails are much shorter, but I was too scared of cutting too short so it's a bit long..and sharp.
Any tips?
Peanut butter kongs are great for positive reinforcement for nail trims! We can definitely understand the concern for hurting your dog. Try getting her used to a Dremel. Dremels are such handy tools - they can round out the sharp edges from cutting and help you grind down a little more of the nail safely. Here's another quick video that may help: th-cam.com/video/atL9Lo-CbaY/w-d-xo.html
I get that… now how do I keep my fingers during this process 🤔
My pup is a Shih Tzu, 10 weeks old
I'm terrified of hurting her, Some of her nails are ALL black aswell, so I can't see any white tips.
She's scratched me in play and drawn blood, her nails are like razors.
I've tried everything t keep her still. If I hurt her she'll loose trust in me, I can't have that.
Please advise x
Cutest grooming routine I’ve ever seen. 😂
Extremely helpful, thank you!!!
I tried this before on my puppy's foot and one had I bright red this... I got scared and thought she's bleeding but there is no blood... But I got really scared and I don't know if I should trim her nail again...
try trimming less off the tips
Nice. Simple and quick!
Cute pup!
Thanks for that, I was mostly unsure about the hind nails. Very good and short presentation
Great video, I had 8 puppies to do but it was pretty simple. Love to "Big" toe nail clipper idea. I bought Puppy Clippers and they were virtually useless, big and bulky. Toe Nail Clippers worked perfect 🤟
God bless the veterans
Now, if I could just sit cross-legged like that. My body doesn't bend that way anymore. A vet tech hit the quick in my mini Aussie's nail one time and it was a battle just to touch her paw after that.
Looks just like my puppy😆
It’s a photo copy of mine or vise versa omg. Every single thing . Just yours looks a bit older than mine 😲
What breed is it?
You did that so well....
I find it's the most stressful event in my year when I do my 6 yr olds 😕 😪 😒
Thank you so much watching your video was a lifesaver
You're welcome!
Is it safe to clip my puppies nails with a human nail clipper
If you have a small dog or puppy than yes! Human nail clippers are too small for large dogs and put too much pressure on the nails but are great for cats and puppies.
American Pit Bull Foundation thanks 😄
You make that look so easy.
I heard you say about the different color at end of toenails. That's great... however, my dogs AND new puppy all have full black color &, as is the case, so are their toenails.
I'm really kind of scared to trim them since I'm unable to actually see their blood line that runs through all dogs/puppies toenails.
I'd appreciate your input. Being on a fixed income being 69 years old, it would cost a fortune to get all three done at a doggie spa.
This was a life hack. Thank you. 💕
Thanks for the know how and he is cute.
Adorable puppy! ❤️♥️
Just got a new baby 🐕 his nails are getting stuck on a few things came here because I'm new to this .. I will try this at home .. wish me luck or wish my 🐶 luck 🤞
Best way is when they are asleep 😂
Thank you for the video! I'd like to ask if this video can be downloaded for non-commercial use. I'd appreciate it if you'd reply!
OMG LOOKS JUST LIKE MY PUPPY
What kind of dog is that?
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
How old is that puppy?
thats not how it works in our house. it doesn't work!
i give up. im just going to wear a full body suit to protect me from his nails.
My dalmatian puppy got so fking sharp nails ughh I want trim them but I feel scared if I hurt them😩😩
Captions said “at the local butcher.” Lmao
As I’m typing “as he sperms a little bit.” Instead of squirms ... okay I’m done
we found a pit bull in the streets and it turns out she was pregnant. she already had her puppies but we don't know who the dad is. Three of them look like this one though so I was wondering if you could tell me what breed this puppy is?
is it just a regular human nail cutter that you're using? my puppy is 9 weeks old mix breed bichon shitzu terrier
Thank you ,l truly appreciate your guidance.
Your wonderful...🐶🐕🥰
This was incredibly helpful! We've had our puppy for two weeks and haven't even thought of trimming her nails and we were able to do her front paws in minutes by distracting her with a puppy Kong filled with peanut butter
Such a great helpful video. Thank you!
Plzz tell me what breed is it😍❤ because same copy for my dog❤
That cute sweet whining
THANK YOU SO MUCH
I just get bitten, can only do one or two at a time
Research how to train bite inhibition. Puppy mouthing is general ok and they need to learn how to play bite without pressure, so help your pup to do that. When my pup bites too hard I let out a yelp like a puppy (or maybe a bit louder and deeper like a mama) and let my hand go limp or being it away. Once they start understanding appropriate bite pressure you can start to train them to bite less during play. I also always have something else for them to chew on available - a rope, kong, plushie toy, a stick etc so I can redirect the bites to something that they are allowed to go nuts on.
Thank you!
Ppl love tryna criticize how to train other ppl dog . if everyone worried and cared for there dog the way they ACT and PORTRAYED there interest in other dogs other than how cute it is .🌍🌎🌏👍👍
Wow great idea using toenail clippers when young!
So cute 😭
Can I ask? What age/month puppy start cutting nails? Thanks in advance
No dog clippers n i can't leave due to corona so I gotta do what I gotta do
Very distracting ❤
This is sooo cute.
Ya right😂, I finished one paw and she wasn't having it, 10 week old
So you name the dog after the book Eragon? The mountain 🏔️

TOO CUTE
Which breed is this
Pit Bull / Rottweiler Mix
Are you using normal nail cliper or is specifically for puppy ?
i think she said she was using a regular toenail clipper
These are normal - human ;) - nail clippers
Your puppy is mixed labrador
I feel like the way you are handling that puppy might be painful to it. It doesn't seem to like it and, in my opinion, you are holding it kinda rough and that might be the reason it's whining and biting and wriggling so much. This might not be true I just wanted to bring it to your attention
Royalty J - no worries - we would never handle a puppy in a way that would cause it pain. Puppies often struggle because they are disinterested, anxious, or trying to engage in play rather than the current activity. This little puppy in particular benefited greatly from learning to be patient, in a calm frame of mind, and now we have an adult dog who is not fearful or impulsive. He turned out great with all of his handling and training. Best!
Royalty J - You obviously have no idea how to train dogs and would know that rough handling in the early stages of the dogs life in crucial for the dog's stability. Imagine a toddler coming up to trained dog and pulled it's tail, the trained dog will tolerate it because it is USE to it. Now imagine a toddler pulling on a dog that hasn't been rough handled, they will most like not like it and probably bite as a reaction to stop the toddler. At the end of the day, the puppy cries because it's a puppy, they are perfectly fine with rough handling.
88Gosu That's good to know since I just got a new pup today. Thank you!
Lol have you ever tried to cut a puppies nails before?
Oh shut up
What should I feed my female lab 2 month baby
Ima try this next week
Perfect, thank u
