What a wonderful job and video. Although I definitely prefer the sound of the scissors over the music, but everything else made up for it. I only wish I would’ve caught this video one day ago. Yesterday I trimmed my four month old standards face. It’s a slow process for me because today I rigged up a permanent shower hose to give him his baths. I normally unscrew the shower head and put an adapter to hose threads and then take it all apart and then I have to look for everything the next time I do it. So I had my last poodle who passed away last year getting groomed from the pros. But my new guy is gonna be my responsibility because the few groomers I’ve been through never let you stay around for awhile. I had two that when I walked in to drop my dog off, witnessed a woman cleaning the ears twisting the hemostats and yanking the hair out causing the dog to cry out. Well that’s not how I want my dog treated. I use my fingers with the powder and just pull small pieces at a time and he didn’t cry at all. So I’m watching so many videos on grooming because the few times I tried, it was a lot of work and also a bit frustrating. But I’ll get better and my baby boy thinks he looks good after I do a lousy job. lol. I’ve been buying so much stuff from Amazon lately. I think the only thing I need to get now are those long curved scissors you were using. I have some good ones but not those. In two months I’m gonna try that style, you sure made it look easy. But trust me I know your skill level and I’m impressed with your work and also how good the puppy was. I’m not gonna chance letting a groomer give my baby a phobia. When they are young they need all positive care to be the best. This little guy already knows how to play me. But I know he knows I know. Thanks for sharing your expertise. ✌️👍🇺🇸
I've been grooming my dogs for 4 years. They've never been to the groomers. With the schedules they have, I worry that they won't give the time and care needed for each dog.

How to get dog to allow all this grooming????? I have a poodle. She is so stubborn a and active. I have never even seen her asleep. Eyes always open. So active. She is 6 mo. Odd. Praying she calms down.

I agree with how cute and how sweet, mellow, and patient this little baby puppy is, but the music has got to go--I can't stand it! But to add als, this little guy looks so beautiful--he's not objective, or fidgety, yet he's being treated like a king!!

I never shaved my poodles face, I also don't understand why somebody decides on such an ugly cut.
My grandma has a poodle without a shaved snout, and whenever she drinks water everything around her gats wet. The hair around her mouth catches so much water...
I figure that's maybe part of the reason why a shaved snout is so common for a poodle.

Übrigens an alle die lockiges Haarkleid möchten …. Einmal nass gemacht und die Locken sind da! Aber zum scheren muss das Haarkleid gewaschen und mit einem starken Fön getrocknet werden!! Sonst geht der Scherkopf nicht durch das Haarkleid 😅
