Some cranky villagers remind me of a grandfather. Same with snooty villagers, they act like grandmothers and I absolutely love it. I have Limberg and his facial expressions are so definable that it's like a cartoon but I love it. For snooty villagers I have Velma and Snooty (yes, that's actually a villager name).

When I first got Animal Crossing New Leaf I absolutely wanted Apollo as a villager but he never showed up at the start, so I had to reset like 60 times before getting him, I don't regret anything to be honest, he's a sweetheart.
He moved on my island today! I love his simple eagle style and I needed a new cranky on my island since I kicked out frett way in the beginning. So I am really happy with apollo today!
OMG I adore Apollo. When New Horizons came out, I would tell my late fiance(who passed away at age 54 in 2022) "Holy shit baby, they coded you in a game!" After he passed away, I could still feel him with me through Apollo which also helped me LITERALLY survive some of the darkest/worst times in my life. Including escaping an extremely abusive person I was at the mercy of for survival after my Tali died. Tali was a desert storm Marine veteran and a cranky stubborn old biker. But he could be sweet adorable and silly too. Apollo singing and dancing at his birthday reminds me of the time Tali was shaking his butt in Walmart. Dancing and singing along to Shaggy's angel while pushing a shopping cart 😂😭
