    Hello, I am a student who is preparing to become a sound designer in Korea. It was hard to find the lecture video of Unreal and WWise, but thanks to the video you posted, it was very helpful. Thank you so much :)

    Super helpful quickly putting together a nice demo to get started with Wwise + Unreal. I got certified in Wwise this summer and plan to revise my portfolio to add some Unreal + Wwise content and this is a great resource. From steady pacing to the detailed explanations of everything behind why you're doing the actions, it's perfect. Keep up the great work, definitely subscribed, liked, and looking forward to future videos!

      Hey congrats on getting certified! You probably know more than I do about Wwise haha. Thanks a bunch for the support Brendan, great to hear that you like the format of these videos! I'll be sure to keep it up :p

    I was a great lesson! Really nice to learn these things like this. I think the challenge is more the nodes and blueprints, but I think you are doing that very well, we just need to practice and use it more

    Hey Scott, when I go to create a soundbank inside UE4 content browser, there is no option to create a soundbank in the audiokinetic tab. Do you know why this is?

      I have the same problem... I've been looking into it for hours now, have installed many versions of Wwise and integration has always been deemed successful, and yet I do not see any Audiokinetic assets or menu options in Unreal. Anyone got any ideas? So frustrating when you can't even get started...

    Does anyone only have like half animation time of the running animation?

    • @miguelalexandresimoesneves8660
      @miguelalexandresimoesneves8660 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      its weird, even if I add frames, its only that. It looks like its limping

    • @ScottGameSounds
      @ScottGameSounds  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Miguel, what do you mean by 'half animation time'? the animations are pretty short to begin with so you might have them correct

    • @miguelalexandresimoesneves8660
      @miguelalexandresimoesneves8660 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ScottGameSounds instead of doing two steps, he just does one, like it is hoping. In your game, the Animations has like 18 frames, and mine only 9, not sure why, but its not important I guess, the sound still works xD

    • @ScottGameSounds
      @ScottGameSounds  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah okay. So long as you can still set up your sounds and the animations play in full during runtime of the game. Not sure why that's happened to you.
