    I love my ON Cloud Eclipse for running during this hot weather . Extremely "breathable,"and the upper gives me vibes of my old ZoomFly 3 with a similar material that decipate heat pretty well. This was the first pair of shoes I got from ON, and I can't wait to try another pair of shoes from them .

    You guys should do the Puma forever run....would love to hear your thoughts on that vs the mag 2.

    I love these shoes. I bought mine 2 months ago (mid August) and they have reinvigorated my passion for running. They are quite a roomy shoe so be aware of that. The cushioning is amazing and doesn’t compromise one’s feel for the ground. Time to retire my brooks adrenalines ….cant praise these shoes enough.

    Great vid thanks! Saucony Triumph 21 or On CloudEclipse for a (hopefully) 4:30hr marathon...?

    Great Video!!
    Couple of questions:
    1)Would you recommend it for someone with flat feet & a mild overpronation?
    2)Additionally, what is your take on the stability & the longevity of the outsole?

    I bet they'll feel great in the heat of summer. But going into the cold of winter, they sound way too firm. Isn't the technology available to implement foams that don't get hard in the cold?

    I love how On shoes have less "structure" in the upper. That baggy feel is a serious plus for me (my feet swell a lot over a couple of hours) No overlays, no medial support - just natural shoe. That's what made me fall in love with the Kinvara 14 & the Boston 12 too. (Although the lacing in the Boston drives me bonkers)
    On shoes MIGHT be gimmicky but it's the first time in a long time that I've fallen in love with an entire brand. Sorry Hoka 😢

    My question is there going to be a second version of the on cloudmonster or the on cloud eclipse is the replacement.

      I was talking to someone from On and they confirmed the Cloudmonster 2 is coming in spring '24

    the cloud surfer is a max stack shoe, it has 36mm in the heel but has a huge heel-toe drop so only around 22mm in the forefoot.

      14 mm heel to toe..? Are you certain...?

    I purchased mine about 2 months ago and im not getting along with them. I find them a bit sloppy. The upper however, is fantastic and thats what had me sold. Interestingly they feel so squimish under foot in isolation, bur when running theyre actually quite firm. There doesnt seem to be much stability and im struggling with that. I seem to favour Brooks and have absolute confidence in them, more than the ON eclipse. This is purely my experience, but they feel sloppy in design.

    Cloud monster
    Cloud surfer
    Cloud eclipse
    Which one is max cushioned?

    • @diegojosesoriano
      @diegojosesoriano ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Max cushioned means thick midsole, and cloudeclipse is thickest. However, cloudsurfer is the softest.

    Thanks for the review. I'm a runner with hallux rigidus and have had great success with the Glideride 3, which doesn't look to be getting an updated version 😢
    With the rocker and being slightly stiffer, could this be a good alternative to the GR3?

    I have the Cloud Surfer and I prefer it over the Eclipse. Pretty soon I will be moving away from ‘On’ shoes completely. I need more comfort and the forward movement in a pair of shoes.

    I absolutely love the Cloudsurfer 7 and this shoe is very good when it wants to be but definitely doesn't like the colder weather, once it's warmed up then it's really good!

    You buy the On shoes because you like the style for which you pay more also. They don’t offer anything other shoes like Triumph Nimbus Puma foreverun don’t offer.

    • @wordsovsean8905
      @wordsovsean8905 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In Australia, all of the shoes you mentioned including the Eclipse are essentially the same full price at retail. Puma is on sale all the time though. I agree it doesn't offer anything more, but I also don't like the others. The only one I haven't owned is the Nimbus, which I've only tried in store. I prefer the Deviate Nitro 2 as a cushioned shoe.

      @@wordsovsean8905 Here ( in Canada ) Pumas go on sale too but the sell out fast. I have the DN2 and the Foreverun Nitro. I wish I had discovered them before buying so many pairs from other brands . The Nimbus the Triumph the SL and the Rebel are my other favourite shoes.

    I really don’t like the holes in the soles. It’s a huge turn Off.
