      True, of all the big 3, Carlos FH is similar to Roger. But both Roger and Carlos can hit spinny FH if they wanted to and situations required it to be. Their FH hitting and finishing phases are similar too.

      So true. Equally as deadly is his drop shot too. You have to respect the fearhand when you leave a short ball, so 9/10 times you're gonna retreat and every so often, Carlos will getcha with the dropper!

His backhand seems flatter and more powerful as well, so it does seem he is adapting already. Don't have to wait until the AO since we also have Paris and the Finals coming up which will indicate where he stands.

    Alcaraz is evolving his game according to gill gross as he is hitting flatter and flatter on hard court as both hc slams are fast now compared to 2010s. Obv atp want their fave boi si**er fave sped up courts. But alc is talented enough to evolve and ruin their plans

      Yeah. I thought the match would be closer and that Shang would have a chance if he could extend the rallies and force errors, but Alcaraz was hitting winners at will, and the longer rallies actually went heavily in his favour.

    Just saw the difference between a very very good player and a great player. Once Shang was on defence he was gone. Whereas alcaraz was going from defence to offense in one shot. Shang needs to get stronger and add more pace to his game. Lovely technique though.

      @@matto4187 years ago I read a article on wimbledon that wimbledon plays fast in 1st week when grass is fresh....in 2nd week when grass is worn down it plays slow.... that's why nadal used to lose early in 1st week few years ago.....some commentators said wimbledon plays even slower than french open in 2nd week....

    Alcaraz is most complete player at 21 and can become youngest career slam winner. Sure nadal had more titles but alc has better slam results . Other two at 21 were no where near. Sky is limit for alc

      What? Sinner or Novak are truly the only players that can beat Alcaraz when he’s playing like that because they have other weapons to wear him down.
