Alcaraz's forehand is like a hammer. Just destroys..
I cant even comprehend how good this guy is
Alcaraz hits forehand like roger ( more heavy ) with Nadals athleticism and novaks flexibility. Just crazy combo. So scary to play
@@TennisTimeFamily what are you talking about. Fed had the second most spin on tour after only nadal
True, of all the big 3, Carlos FH is similar to Roger. But both Roger and Carlos can hit spinny FH if they wanted to and situations required it to be. Their FH hitting and finishing phases are similar too.
Actually he doesn't have too much flexibility. But sure he has features from all of Big Three members
@@angelc5016 he has too much flexibility what r u talking
@@brodaism yup that is good .hybrid forehand works everywhere
This was a Federeresque performance - taking the ball so early.
Carlitos, currently the most explosive top player on tour.
Shang looks very happy to have played Alcaraz at the end.
Yes
Shit I would've too if I was good enough to be with the best person in the world at what I'm doing.
Tsunami 🌊 like performance
Alcaraz's forehand is insane. He's definitely been working on it to be a bit flatter and he just came back from a 3hr 21 min match with barely any sleep 🥶
as the number 1 alcaraz fan, he had like 2 days between chill
as the person above said. You know his sleep schedule now? Lol
yea i remember that, before entering the venue he was asked he had enough sleep he didn't had enough but still won the game
Two days of press and many promotional responsibilities with very little sleep. Hopefully he gets some rest in his off day.
Take it easy, the match was 3 days ago.
Alcaraz best thing is he is attacking player and not grinding fest like older greats..so iam here for it when a great fast player main motive is to hit bullets😂❤
Since when was Federer a grinder? 😂
@@bendixonmusic7149 i meant nole n Nadal here
@@deepakmahajan-g3c I meant 40:15, cry 😂
@@jokelot5221 hu? What? Alc owns nole 2-0 in slam finals worry abt that
He is just a phenomenal player to watch….he makes you fall in love with tennis
Carlos is galactic when feeling it/mentally locked in. N°1
Did anybody else notice, there's a lot less grunting from Carlitos? Only on massive groundstrokes. But the athleticism is out of this world.
Is it just me or is Alcaraz hitting the forehand down the line better than ever? The way he takes it so early, it's Federer-like. I just don't recall seeing him hit is as much as he has in Beijing and now Shanghai.
I noticed the same thing, crazy how he can redirect it like a laser and it stays so flat too
The influence of Federer on Carlos attacking game is pretty visible
totally! Alcaraz is an heir of Roger, not Novak/Rafaelo
@@LeBronrules7 nadal is not in same catagory as federar and novak... he literally has 14 clay majors ... if someone win 25 french open will he be better than novak ???
@@Henry12341 what you talking about dude? Just said the influence of Roger on Carlos game is clear
@@Henry12341 your comment won the prize to the dumbest comment of the century. 🏆 congrats. 🎉🎉
Great watching these 2 play.
Alcaraz is INSANE! Vamos🔥👑
Brilliant win against a terrific player who has beaten Frances and Ben Shelton every time. Tough match to get through.
Made him look basic to be fair 😂
1:50 Cuevas would be proud of Carlos for that shot
Shang should have come to the net and finish the point, his play is too passive at that point.
@bots102 yeah true, he gave away the advantage the moment he stood behind the base line.
What a beast 😮
Carlos on fire
Alcaraz evolving his game to more flat for faster courts as both aus open and us open r fast now. It is scary news for tour. He gonna attack u with 100 mph forehand and u can just watch lol
So true. Equally as deadly is his drop shot too. You have to respect the fearhand when you leave a short ball, so 9/10 times you're gonna retreat and every so often, Carlos will getcha with the dropper!
2 weeks ago at the USO he lost with a quite low ranked player...
@@usermatisse yes he did. And? Is he all of a sudden NOT a 4 time slam winner, silver gold medalist, and overall incredible athlete?
@@joshuab1707 to reply the fact that he's not adapting to the hard courts that are fast now. Let's see at the AO if he's starting to adapt
@@usermatisse actually Beijing was already a tell tale beating Sinner and winning the whole thing. Shanghai now is another good testcase. His backhand seems flatter and more powerful as well, so it does seem he is adapting already. Don't have to wait until the AO since we also have Paris and the Finals coming up which will indicate where he stands.
Shang is a great player.but he didn't know what hit him!
Alcaraz is evolving his game according to gill gross as he is hitting flatter and flatter on hard court as both hc slams are fast now compared to 2010s. Obv atp want their fave boi si**er fave sped up courts. But alc is talented enough to evolve and ruin their plans
Shang has shown himself to be a prodigy with quite a bright future, but there are prodigies and then there are PRODIGIES. Alcaraz is the latter.
Yeah. I thought the match would be closer and that Shang would have a chance if he could extend the rallies and force errors, but Alcaraz was hitting winners at will, and the longer rallies actually went heavily in his favour.
Alcaraz bringing his A game knowing that shang is rising n could be a threat .... Literally broke his confidence from the start...
@@edwinpaul4301 he did not even try his 40% ... he was just enjoying the game ... physically shang is no where near to carlos ... only africans or caribbeans if they take tennis seriously can defeat fav 3 , alcaraz , sinner ... but tennis is such an expensive sport out of their reach
@@Henry12341 nope I don't agree with you on the 40% anyways that's ur opinion... 👍
@@Henry12341 Of all people Africans and Jamaicans are not made for endurance sports as their bone structure is too heavy. Why even mention them since they don't play tennis? It is like saying only an African or Jamaican could beat the Chess world champion but Chess is such an expensive sport out of their reach. It makes no sense whatsoever?
@@edwinpaul4301 you mean endurence ??? How many white people won marathon compared to africans ??? Tennis is a very expensive sport out of africa's reach otherwise Alcaraz, federar , nadal , sampras would get no chance infront a top quality african player ... black americans are financially very stable thats why we have seen williams sister , arthur Ashe type players ... But i m speaking about real 100% african players ... physically they can outmatch any asian or caucasian/ hispanic athlete
@@pureffm world's hardest head surgery was done by an african doctor ( not dutch afrikaans from sa who performed first heart transplant) , most of the marathon winners are africans . So your endurence logic is not correct
Holy shit. He's got such amazing court awareness and energy. Truly amazing to watch. Poor Shang lol Good way to know what he has to work on I guess
Alacaraz is the best tennis player today.
Wow, Shang seems light on his feet and moves well, but Carlos' shots and pace are just too fast, the other guy just could not keep up with it.
Huge Sinner fan here, but i like so much even Carlos, can't wait to see more matches between these two phenomena. is it just me or has Carlo FINALLY started yelling/grunting less?
same feeling
I think Shang is the next generation star, but there is still a big gap between him and Alcaraz.🎉
I think so too. He’s only 19 got plenty of time
Just saw the difference between a very very good player and a great player. Once Shang was on defence he was gone. Whereas alcaraz was going from defence to offense in one shot. Shang needs to get stronger and add more pace to his game. Lovely technique though.
Alcaraz is evolving his game for fast courts as he is hitting 20 cm less net clearance as atp is going back to 2000s era with fast courts suiting Si**ers game . And he is slaying with full attack mode
Why the ** in Sinner? 😅
French open and wimbledon are still slow surfaces....it will be good balance if 2 are fast and 2 are slow slams..... this is how tennis should be played.....
I am an Alcaraz fan but the faster courts to favourite sinner is just bullshit...
@@rabisml1234 wimbledon is not slow LOL
@@matto4187 years ago I read a article on wimbledon that wimbledon plays fast in 1st week when grass is fresh....in 2nd week when grass is worn down it plays slow.... that's why nadal used to lose early in 1st week few years ago.....some commentators said wimbledon plays even slower than french open in 2nd week....
La derecha de Carlos es una ametralladora y como tal " el peligro no está en las balas ,si no la velocidad a la que le llegan al oponente".
Alcaraz is most complete player at 21 and can become youngest career slam winner. Sure nadal had more titles but alc has better slam results . Other two at 21 were no where near. Sky is limit for alc
AO for Alcaraz will remain taboo for a long time in my opinion
@@usermatisseyour opinion doesn't matter.
When Alcaraz plays like this I don't think that anyone can hold their own against him, except maybe Jannick Sinner.
Shang should've paid for the tennis lesson ;)
He just destroys this man
アルカラス強すぎる
Wow it was like playing a wall for Shang
Carlos wanted to get this one over with quickly. He might be in for winning this one too.
Carlos starts to be more compact with less down moments during his matchs. He was already hard to play against, in this form it seems almost impossible
Shang is poor😢
What a severe draw in home...
Almost lost for words about him now. Whos gonna stop him in this form?😊
Shane’s forehand motion can generate good angle but obviously lack power. He needs to completely retool his forehand before he advances his ATP rankings.
CA😍😍
So much offence and a joy to watch!
Alcaraz, Djokovic and some of the older veterans like Wawrinka and Monfils are the only players who i bother watch these days. Obviously if nadal plays again him too. I miss the big 3 era!
Okay, Sinner and Alcaraz need to chill out. Both of them clearly wanting to play each other again 😂
Looks he is back for sure
0:18 ... moving backwards and hitting a ball with no incoming pace that hard is ridiculous
Have not seen anyone accelerate through a neutral ball with the forehand more since Federer. Such power out of nowhere from Alcaraz. So sick.
Shang using recket Babolat pure drive?
Team Algaraz👏
Alcaraz simply dispatched Shang. 😁
Im not seeing Nole bots nowadays, 😅 i guess this is great for tennis
Alcaraz is talented but literally his physique is like a machine. He’s just a different athlete. Shang is trying to play Alcaraz’s game and makes him look like a recreational player. Sinner really is his only competition.
@@sawyer7191 only WILD AFRICAN can defeat alcaraz if they get proper facility
@Henry12341 just stop✋️ you're embarrassing yourself
What? Sinner or Novak are truly the only players that can beat Alcaraz when he’s playing like that because they have other weapons to wear him down. Just because you are the most aggressive player and flashy doesn’t mean you will win, it’s also about the opponent. I’m a HUGE Federer fan saying that recognizing why Fed lose to Novak so much and didn’t understand it. Anyway, think what you want but clearly you don’t understand how tennis works and only looking at what you like!
@@sifisomavimbela8838 african do not have that financial support to play an expensive sport like tennis ... in athletics we see most of medelists are africans .. if they get support i am sure they can thrash any alcaraz , novak , sinner , nadal or federar ...africans are physically more capable than hispanic and whites

they'll meet in the semi unfortunately
Bro forgot Djokovic exist 🤭
@@prestonjackson5656 Djokovic will be smoked. He stands no chance against Sincaraz

they both have the same play styles, but alcaraz is just generational at it

He didnt faced young nadal
Carlos did not even play his A game but destroyed juncheng 😂
Alcaraz too strong for Shang.
Like whats his name had a chance lol....
If only sports was about friendship not a rivalry and country politics.. don’t with watching this
First
Llegas a un torneo con toda la ilusión del mundo y el primer partido te toca contra Alcaraz.Vaya mierda pensaria yo
The two roosters fly over Shanghai 🔥💥🥶😱
Alcaraz got a bit worked up in Paris and could not shrug of the loss at USO.He is back ,up and roaring Djokovic is the best, though
Зачем ему эти разминки, ставьте его сразу в финал и пусть ждет там Янника 😅
Djokovic gonna win this tournament
lol
😂😂😂😂
this aint 2018
But of course.... there there...
Loooooooooooooooooooooool
"Doping make miracles".......
Wrong match, Sinner is playing the Japanesse
So now Jannick's minions are talking about doping...that's funny. 😂 It's not going to work as you think.
