As someone who doesn't dabble in pvp very often i really do enjoy these videos, with your commentary and expertise its like watching a nature documentary
Mf really had his sidearm run out of juice. This is why true Wizards keep a sidearm that doesn’t need their blue juice. Like a gun! Or just… not the Moonveil. A Magic Claymore’s been my sidearm since the DS1 days, it’s all a Wizard needs and more.
4:48 that combo into the backstep running attack was beautiful. I used to play greatlances and scythes like this in DS3 - ahh, this brings back sweet memories of those tormented souls.
Sword Lance is such a comfy weapon. In PvE, in PvP, doesn't matter, it feels like reading a good book by the window wrapped up in a blanket with a hot coffee or perhaps tea or cocoa beside you in fall. So cozy.
Sword Lance is just comfy pick for every boss due to highest damage in class, highest status buildup and piercing damage. Same thing about Milady. It's pretty much omnipotent LGS for every scenario, with good damage, good heavy, high attack speed and it's SO SMOOTH in those combos
14:18 “It’s taking everything I have in me not to kill the host who is spamming Moonveil, first. It goes against my very nature!!” Let us not forget the Fable of Moonveil Spammer, much like the Scorpion who stabbed the Turtle while crossing the River, causing them both to drown: A Chase cannot go against its nature…and so the Moonveil Spammer must die!! And he jumped off the stairs and died…😂. Definitely he was so disappointed in his dishonest display that he chose to end himself.
I do love the sword lance! Just think its a shame that it doesn't get a unique slashing attack anywhere in its moveset considering its description states thats the precise reason why it even has an otherwise pointless blade...
Bearer of the torch Seek madness. Unhinged, more fiery madness. Seek the host, that is the only way. Lest the wizards swallow you whole... As it has so many others.
Yo Chase. Awesome content as always. When you're finished going over the 1.14 stuff, I'd love to see you invade with some so-called dual wield off-meta stuff. Things like LH zwei RH milady or LH lance RH thrusting. I see a lot of other invaders use these for fun and I'm curious to see what you come up with and how you would rock them!
In future fromsoft games, i hope they just get rid of poise stat as a whole. Make every weapon stagger on hit, but improve the avoidance mechanics in general so that everyone is on the same page, but also reduce stagger-lock potential to prevent blenders in pvp.

Halberd now true combos into martial arts(kicks) r2 and erdsteel r2 and roll catches quite well. (Haven't used it personally since I don't play elden ring much anymore, but saw a video on it, looked fun)
I'd love to see you do more duels again. Like Showcases for duels and this for invasions. It's nice to see people stand a chance against you for a change lol
Hey chase love the videos, would love it if you put some tips and tricks for using different weapon movsets and just general advice for pvp that would make these vids perfect
T 2:30 The flames with the air attack makes me wish there was a synergy between the two elements like if you set an opponent on fire, air damage would spike the damage of the fire. Making for a very Intriguing style of play
How about an Axe of Godfrey build? I personally think it's extremely underrated, and can be buffed with multiple things: a) DLC talismans (Shattered stone, Two-Handed Sword, Retaliatory Crossed Tree are my picks) b) DLC armor (Rakshasa set & divine bird warrior greaves give damage boosts to all attacks and stomping/kicking attacks respectively) c) Base talismans (Shard of Alexander, Roar Medallion) d) Exalted Flesh & Uplifting Aromatic e) Highland Axe in the offhand And with the speed buffs from patch 1.14, I think it is better than ever! Would you give it a try for us?
@@dip7183 I believe it is the following, but I could be wrong: Armor: Full Rakshasa (+8% total damage) Weapons: Axe of Godfrey (AoW increases damage by 7.5% and adds +5 STR scaling for ~40 sec) & Highland Axe (+10% to AoW stomp AND altered heavy attacks) Talismans: Two-Handed Sword (+15/10% damage on moveset EXCEPT for altered heavy attacks) Roar Medallion (+15% damage on AoW stomp AND altered heavy attacks) Shattered Stone (+10% to AoW stomp AND stomp portion of altered heavy attacks) *this talisman needs further testing optional slot 1 - bull goat for extra poise optional slot 2 - shard of alexander to buff the AoW stomp but it does NOT affect the altered heavy optional slot 3 - retaliatory crossed tree (+17/12% damage on rolling and crouch attacks) optional slot 4 - erdtree favor OR great jar arsenal Consumables: Uplifting aromatic (7.5%) and Exalted Flesh (+20/15%) And you can also decide to throw on the self poison/bleed buffs to increase this even further, but that takes a lot of setup This is, from my understanding, the optimal method of running this build
Commenting again to see if you'll do a 4 elements build - I made a decent one with a Str/Faith setup. The only 'element' I found lacking was water, but with a higher Strength investment you can have ice ashes of war on a Heavy weapon. Also, Zamor Ice Storm AOW does crazy damage, even on a Str/Faith build. Everything else can be fire infused. You can use the storm ashes of war, the fire ashes of war, and stuff like the Beastclaw Greathammer or stone club are perfect for Earth.
You should a vid about weapons that have thrusting twohanded crouching attacks, as they get buffed by two-handed talisman, retaliatory cross tree and spear talisman! Claymore, Shunted, Longsword, Zwei, etc.
You can also tweak this to make a counter hit build by implementing the deflecting tear physik, counter hit talisman, spear talisman, 2H talisman along side RKR AoW ❤
Hey Chase, bit of a random request, but could you do some invasions with the Nightrider Glaive? I think it's a really cool weapon, and I've been using it for casual pvp at RL1. Would love to see how deadly you can make it with actual levels and all the new tools given by the dlc. As always, amazing video, thank you.
As someone who doesn't dabble in pvp very often i really do enjoy these videos, with your commentary and expertise its like watching a nature documentary
Shows how good Chase is that he can make invasions seem chill, relaxing, and easy like a nature documentary lol
O damn. can we get a steve erwin episode? "Crikey! This moonvieler is known to L2 12 to 24 times per minute!"
i feel like chase is a huge reason to why people get into pvp in the first place people wanna reach this man’s true mastery 😂
I enjoy how smooth his pvp matches go. Whenever I play it's a slideshow 😭💀
lol I watch the vids every night before bed
14:50: Welp, 47 moonveils in a row didn't do the trick, guess ill just commit an hero
moonveil man ran out of mana and immediately commited sudoku

Tbh they probably just didn't like being obviously toyed with. It's humiliating
*Yo what’s up guys, Chase the Poke here.*
9:22 Here you go, wizard! You're fancy magic versus my rock!
So early there’s no Torch jokes yet.
There was 1 a minute after your comment🤣🤣
Sorry lol
It's crazy really, almost maddening that there were no torch jokes for a bit. It's a bit spine-tingling really.
Jokes? What do you mean "jokes"
Those are jokes? More like sheep's 'bahhh'ing
4:48 that combo into the backstep running attack was beautiful. I used to play greatlances and scythes like this in DS3 - ahh, this brings back sweet memories of those tormented souls.
10:35 That random hunter who spawned in getting absolutely bodied by some random enemy NPC 😂
Chase heard the death but didn't notice them 😅
16:57 Other than the host ending his miserable existence, this phantom's death was hilarious. 🤣
Moonveil runs out of juice boxes:
“Welp, guess I’ll die.”
More deflecting crystal tear invasions? This weapon gets INSANE damage through guard counters.

7:25 the rude wizard doing the only thing blues knows: dying...
16:04 damn Chase, atleast take him out to dinner first
3:53 You got the double hit from the jump attack here. It tends to happen more often when the floor isn't flat.
