  • Here is another brand that claims very high capacity in a AA battery along with the "low-self discharge" assertion. Let's put it to the test!
    Watch to find out more.

    Self-discharge generally refers to a batterie's loss of stored energy while not in use. A low self-discharge battery would generally lose less energy while in storage vs a non LSD cell. In this respect, EBL generally performs worse than the competition. They are a budget rechargeable after all. The absolute best performing value cell (if you live in Canada) are Ikea's Ladda 2450 - which many believe are re-branded Eneloop pros ;)

    How can you tell if they’re fully charged as all I get is a green light for the amount of time I charge them for

    I've had nothing but issues with mine. I use their chargers and even though they say fully charged the batteries that still work only last about a week at most in an Amazon Fire TV remote. Out of the 60 batteries I've purchased I've had 14 go totally dead before the third or fourth charge. We use our batteries in remotes and clocks, not exactly high current drain devices. EBL batteries are garbage as is their tech support. I've complained to them several times and they don't care. And people wonder why we try to buy American. Ya, go figure. In my opinion I would stay away from the EBL brand of battery. Total junk.

    which charger would you suggest for these EBL batteries?

    • @DigitalMoonlight
      @DigitalMoonlight ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any smart charger with voltage and temperature cutoff and individual charge channels rather than forcing to charge in pairs. If you like near Ikea grab their four slot charger and some Laddas.
      Otherwise you can get a kit with a charger and batteries from EBL and most of their chargers are fine.

    They are cheap but junk, dishonest company as well. Staying with Eneloop or IKEA Ladda.
