I remember when the Jamaica Ave El was here and it ended at 168th St. terminal. The entire avenue was darkened by it. It looks a lot better now and I can hardly recognize it .I can still identify Kings Park by the avenue. Back in the 1960s there was a lot of pollution from diesel trucks and buses.
I wish the q7 ran as frequently as on this video because I waited 45 minutes for a bus during the evening rush. I believe that the redesign if all buses in queens ca be no worse than walking home from the casino and beating the only q7 on the route to 150th and rockaway including my 10 minute detour to Popeyes.
Nice video although I am going to miss the OGs.
