MTA NYC Bus: World of buses at Sutphin Blvd/Archer Ave

Hey TH-cam! Today we have numerous buses (and what I call the world of buses) serving the Sutphin Blvd/ Archer Ave station at rush hour on a Friday afternoon. We have 16 lines serving this Station which include the Q6, Q8, Q9, Q20A, Q20B, Q24, Q25, Q30, Q31, Q34, Q40, Q41, Q43, Q44-SBS, Q60, Q65, & NIS buses serving this station. Buses include: Nova Bus, New Flyer and Orion buses.
As you all can see, this intersection in a madhouse and is crazy during rush hour and the buses have no path and almost nowhere to go. I will have more bus videos out but for now enjoy this awesome video! I'm trying to work on Long Island Railroad videos at the moment.
Sorry for the shakiness at one point in the video. My arm got a little tired and I had to switch my camera from one hand to the other.

Guys remember when back in 1989 which was 28 years ago the J train extended it’s line to archer avenue and then the Z train started to exist.
The date was December 11th, 1989 12/11/89
Mad that Jamaica Queens I usually live here from 2011 to 2012.I move to St.Albans Queens in Late 2012.
It's usually kind of easygoing in the morning around Sutphin & Archer on a good day but if you're there between 3:30 and 7:00 P.M., just forget about it because of those damn $2 cabs blocking that Q6 Bus stop and traffic. Some of these Bus Drivers faces look familiar to me since I see some of them every day.
Yep I hear ya 100%. During PM rush hour around there, it's extremely hectic & yes the dollar cabs are in fact parked there illegally.
Fuseguy is Cool You be surprised, half of them drive without no Licenses. Some of them have been pulled over by 5-0 for that, if not that then something else...even though they're annoying in that area, it seems like they come more frequent than the buses lolz.
Jarell Clark Yep that's correct and yes they just park there looking for a fare. Taxis in NYC don't give a shit about anyone else as long as they get a fare.

u should go to 5th ave 49th st ....u would see xpress buses frm all boroughs plus a bunch of local routes

That traffic is enough to make me not want to drive in New York City it's either subway or bus for me
clsumjr ross Haha lol NYC is a headache for parking & traffic but it's usually quiet here during daytime hours between 10 Am - 2 Pm

thanks for returning the comment,I did have time to watch the whole lot because i running out time in the local library i had two minetes left i dont have a laptop just a smartphone i will try and download one day but they stped down loads in the drop centre i use every tuesday,happy christmas

Yep. Novabus RTS's appear more frequently during rush hour in my opinion.
All of the rts buses are gone it is all in the Eastchester bus depot in Co-op City the bronx i miss the rts buses
When you said Q20 has rts's do you mean Q20A/Q20B. There's no Q20.

RadRoad Reversers I'm not sure but I know the Q60 and Q20 buses have RTS's on them. Possibly 2015 I assume

Omarr Harold the XD40 New Flyer ones have them. They're on the Q10, Q111,Q113,Q114 lines I believe
