I will say I absolutely loved how they portrayed Goblin’s power. You actually felt like he was a super human in this one and the fight scenes were so on point.
Good point. Unfortunate that the actor was so old that they had to make the scenes shakey and use a lot of double work. Otherwise i agree, goblin look like he had everything and the kitchen sink
@@loukes7758 then what do you attribute the shakey cam and rare facetime of the guy during fights? Coulda been the IMAX, but it felt all over the place

That one "Spidey Sense" scene was fucking incredible. The cinematography there puts you right in Peter's shoes and we are just as confused and tense, wondering what exactly is going to happen.
I think that these “devices” that were convenient are explained away by the fact the MCU has A LOT more technology and magic that both of these other universes where the villains came from. Like all this stark tech didn’t exist in the other universes so that’s why the problem was “unsolved” for many years.
@@Tulip_bip Reminder that the MCU is currently in 2024, whereas the two other spider-man franchises happen in 2012 and 2002. It makes sense there is such a large difference in technology, even if we don't account for the fact there's already more technology and magic in the MCU
That scene when the two Thanoses from Tobey's and Andrew's universe invaded MCU and was defeated by Sandman flowing into their buttholes were just phenomenal.
I can’t believe that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man said (and this is a direct quote) “I can’t wait for this movie to be done so I can go home and see my moist meter rating”

You're right, I think Charlie's a bit off base in that criticism. You have all these geniuses working on it simultaneously, of course they'll figure it out
The audience went wild when Peter put on the glasses and drone struck every villain in under 2 minutes. You should have seen the look on Doc-Ocs face when he saw Green Goblin get absolutely ass blasted by missiles.
Willem Dafoe absolutely stole the show when it came to the villains. The Goblin was actually terrifying and way more complex of a character than I expected. I thought he would just appear, do a few evil cackles and throw some bombs at Peter. Nope. It was such a layered performance and I genuinely think Willem needs to be seriously considered for an award for it.
THIS!! I think this movie reallt emphasizes on what kind of a villain green goblin is. Not a powerhouse monster that wrecks through everything like the Lizard, nor an insane genius plotting some dumb plan like Doc Ock. Mf is an actual psychopath that you can't just kill because moral reasons
@@forkrolls Exaclty, his green goblin persona has no regrets about killing anyone. That is what makes him so scary. And you can't kill him cause its not his fault he is that way.

Dude those little moments between the *"characters"* where they just having a little talk is what made me love this movie even more. I really thought that they just gonna put those *"characters"* for like 5 minutes and then they're gone forever
The part where sand man revealed that he was his own daughter, then fused with the spidey suit to create a portal into the DC universe. That scene was crazy man
Or this: Sandman/Flint Marco: Hayden Church Matt Murdock: Charlie Cox The Lizard/ Curt Connors: Rhys Ifans They could at least join the 2 villains but nooooo, Matt Murdock who appeared in a few minutes gets between them lol
The reason is Iron Man or Tony Stark Stark took away Spiderman's characther development into becoming spiderman but instead Stark make him a Iron Man Jr Once Stark's influenced is finally gone from Spiderman Tom now can have normal characther development that Iron man stole
Those “convenient and easy” solutions are the result of MCUniverse’s Technology being way more advanced that the others and Tom having complete knowledge and access to it.
Yeah. Tony figured out time travel over an afternoon. They've had rogue AI, androids, wizards, gods and talking raccoons. MCUniverse has dealt with some stuff the others could only dream of.
Also a certain character stated that they've thought about a solution for a long time since it happened in their universe. Now with the technology and the actual ability to do something about it it makes sense that they would come up with the solution quicker than usual.
The reason why lizard man and sand man where just "there" was because the actors weren't available but they where available for the voice acting so they reused a scene from spider man 3 for sandman when he became human again
@WebHeadKev Maybe they were. I read that Haden Church and Ifans actually were on set (they, and Dafoe, would like cover themselves to not reveal that they were in the movie) ,and it seems to me that they did some work for the visual effects. I think they just added them because they were known villians of the older Spider-Man movies, but wanted to rather focus on the bigger villians (Ock, Electro and Green Goblin). It's sad, I really like Sandman in Spiderman 3 and he seems really OP. Not even a moment with him and Maguire in the end
The wedding felt rushed asf, with Ned coming out as gay right before the baddies arrive and get cured, I can't help but think they shoehorned it in. Loved the twist with doc ock and happy tho, their chemistry was perfect.

@@nectar__ yea,i barely heard any reaction in theater. Very different from when Andrew and Toby appeared ,everyone going nuts. Why nobody recorginize him????
I think the reason why them solving everything makes sense is because no one had ever tried to help them out in the first place. It was Tom’s determination to help them plus the technology that Tony made that allowed for all of the cures to found quickly.

He fucking lost everything, I was amazed by the way they took the finals moments of the movie. I wasn't really feeling happy lol. I kept thinking that Strange was gonna pull a Tony and do an exception for Ned and MJ. Still loved the movie tho, just think everything would have been so much better with people knowing who he was.
Me too. I remembered Peter/Tom said Ned and MJ first, then Aunt May, and later the other alterations that cause it to go wrong. I really thought Dr. Strange would go back to the second version of the spell - Ned and MJ - but alas, he didn't. It's absolutely tragic about what happens to Peter/Tom. He loses all of his friends and family, as well as his schooling and home. It's so ridiculously sad. Alas, actions have reproductions...

SPOILER I don't have any problems towards that, but I do feel it's a bit odd that Ned can suddenly do something that was supposed to be practiced for years, even with the "magic hands" line.
Spoiler Alert: The part about it all being convenient towards the end is true, but you have to take into account that 5 of the the smartest people of the planet at the time were working on the project. Doctor Octopus’ chip was always a seemingly easy fix, plus both Norman AND Tom were working on it so it should have been about that easy. The Lizard’s cure was simple enough as well since it was already made by Andrew in the first TASM movie, but this time you have Tom, Andrew, and Tobey working on it, as well as potentially Otto and Norman back at Happy’s house. As for the Green Goblin, Tobey said that he had already been thinking of a cure for him if he had his time back plus Tom, Andrew, Otto, and Norman were working on it as well, Norman of which created it in the first place. SandMan and Electro were probably the most difficult but it should be noted that SandMan got his powers by some scientists nonchalantly turning on a particle accelerator, so if it was that simple then the 3 Peters should be able to figure it out, and Electro was made by some electric eels that were being used by Oscorp which is owned by NORMAN. Plus it should be noted that the technology is much more advanced, Tony discovered time travel in one night so doing something that quickly isn’t impossible, and again, there’s 5 of the greatest minds in the world at the time working on the project as well as Ned and MJ as lab assistants.
Yeah bruh like they knew what their “cure“ was and plus they say technology is better like ten times in a movie also they all met these dudes before , Charlie's take on that didn't have any argument lol
Bruh. Tom Peter was just annoyingly stupid, careless and dumb in this movie. His idiocracy and immaturity literally were the reason for this film's plot, and that was just terrible writing.
yeah, i honestly don’t care for marvel but i’ve watched home coming and far from home so i thought ill watch this and absolutely loved it, i’ll probably rate them in this order 1.no way home 2. homecoming 3. far from home homecoming and ffh are both good movies but wouldn’t watch them again, i’ll definitely watch this one again some time
The part where Willda Emfoe showed up and said "You're something of a scientist yourself," really came out of left field, but I'm glad they were brave enough to do it.
Just gonna say this, the cinematography made this movie peak. Right off the bat in the opening, I noticed "oh damn, this is stylish, this isn't usual Disney MCU camera work". The utilization of Long Takes made everything feel stylized and highlighted the talent's performance.
I loved sandman’s story in the original movies, but I feel like his arc had already passed, so I’m glad they brought in the other characters that didn’t get that shot.
Those “convenient things” were great imo, not only have some of those people solving them had tons of time to think about those solutions. Also it showcases just how smart Peter Parker is since people often forget it
I thought Dr. Connors was a pretty interesting villain. He seemed intelligent and opportunistic, which might be why he doesn't do too much, but when he gets the chance he did well. He was pretty suspenseful and all of the scenes where he did something felt pretty scary. Edit: Dr. Connors was The Lizard btw.
I feel like conners character was not given much respect tbh. I thought was interesting in TASM but in this hes a joke/throw away character. Idk if the actor was limited on time or something
He was pretty terrifying in TASM1. The scene where Peter puts webs up in the sewers to bait him out by vibrations on the webs was genius and suspenseful
I was explaining to my roomates that this felt like a soft reboot for Tom's spiderman. We never really got to see him being a friendly neighborhood spiderman, he was a hero sponsored by Tony Stark. Now he's spread his wings and he's essentially on his own, in a shitty apartment, trying to get his education. I'm so hyped to see more of him in the future.
But that was the point of the first movie? He didn't want to be friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, he wanted to be bigtime like Tony. At the end he thinks he's being tested so he denies the suit and being an avenger to be friendly neighborhood spiderman for a while. until infinity war

Those “convenient and easy” solutions are the result of MCUniverse’s Technology being way more advanced that the others and Tom having complete knowledge and access to it.
And also some of the problem already solved on previous movie, like lizardman cure gas.

And Rami fan boys are still going to be wrong and toxic and criticize the crap out of this movie and anybody who thinks it was better than a Tobey Maguire film
@@CoolVids19 not even a little bit to every fan. A lot to every single fan. The Andrew Garfield movies were by far my least favorite Spider-Man films and he was the best character and stole the most scenes. His performance was excellent. Like this is the most unbelievable unreal film I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe this exists. More so this wasn’t like avengers endgame that we were so excited for an entire year about and knew what we get. This basically came out of nowhere. This is avengers endgame and avengers infinity war levels of amazing if not higher end it basically came out of nowhere.
Yea! I cheered during those scenes :)
I liked the part where the tree did a special cameo to reference the movie wall-e where the lack of real trees is prominent demonstrating no way home’s deep connections towards the conflict with deforestation
Finally!
Some of these comments are just pure wtf
I was shocked that they managed to handle so many elements in the movie so well. This movie could have been a major mess that only relied on nostalgia and fanservice, but I genuinely think this might be the best film in the MCU Spider-Man trilogy.
I respec your opinion but I think nostalgia and fan service was all this movie was
@@Tannaandtheapocalypse It was a good movie but that's all I saw just fanservice and trying to pull nostalgia the animated one was better for me because it didn't rely on that.
@@Tannaandtheapocalypse They pretty much fixed the flaws the MCU Spider-Man had; I’m actually excited how the “new” Spider-Man will be for the next films.
@@comsicartisan7700 maybe it relied on it but god damn was it good
"This movie could have been a major mess that only relied on nostalgia and fanservice" That's called Endgame and thank god this movie didn't fall into that trap.
This movie actually felt like a Spiderman movie. No more jr iron man. He grew up and became his own person.
Especially the ending. Fucking amazing.
@Psycho Shenanigans fun fact Spiderman didn't rely on help when he first became spiderman in the comics. He just did it. We shouldn't have had to seen a useless arc for two movies for him to actually figure himself out. This is why I prefer other spiderman they dropped you in after when Peter is finishing high school going to college. Or Skip that entire part like insomniac did. Just get into the meat of his story.
@@JUDGE_MNTAL because we already had 2 origins before this
They wanted to go different routes and I am happy they went i always wanted to see these relationships which happened in mcu before this movie
Always wanted to see Spider-Man using tech and Team up with avengers and now everything is done he can go back to his old routes as solo spiderman 🤷
@@JaySewani great but he literally could have not join the avengers at all
@@JUDGE_MNTAL sorry but don't care about your opinion Tom is my favourite spiderman his character development is what makes he love his character more he was 15 in civil war and he is now grown and it's actually early than Tobey and Andrew
There spiderman were 17 20 something
When they truly became spiderman
And he has more experience now than them
I was a bit stunned with the reveal of Danny DeVito instead of Tobey and Andrew but I think it worked
And that part where he was swinging around all sweaty and naked ? That was the last thing I was expecting
There were so many iconic moments in this movie. My favorite is definitely when Doc Ock calls Electro a gamer word
You mean the West-African country Niger?
I honestly think the reason why Charlie didn't score the movie higher was because he was sitting near the front row of the cinema so the experience was hindered
Umm, how do you know
because that's what i felt also
@@makotomachiyuki Oh man haha I respect that, seating and audience is a make or break situation. The only point I disagree, without spoiling, was the deus ex machina that Charlie described. Because clearly that isn't the case if you truly think about it!
I set all the way at the top on those reclining seats :)
I think that happened with me too the experience was kinda ruined because of sound of the theather people were talking and eating behind me checking their phones and shit but i had great time but not perfect
Must've been extra difficult for Charlie with his incredibly gracious stature
I don’t blame anyone that says this movie has moon-sized holes and relies on fan service, but god damnit, it worked for me and I loved it.

👆Spider-Man: No Way Home Full Movie!
The only real hole I can think of is the one after the credits. There's literally no way HE knows Spiderman, so him being there makes no sense.
@@taigaaisaka6305 Didn't they see him on the news in that scene at the end of their movie?
@@taigaaisaka6305 he does know who Spider-Man is tho. It’s explained in a movie that came before
@@taigaaisaka6305 He and his kind have some kind of multiversal connection between em. They have almost infinite knowledge.
I feel like the solutions were earned, 3 highly intelligent people in a universe with tech way more advanced than whatever they had in their previous universes..and both the other 2 characters stated they had been thinking about what they could have done differently for a very long time.
EXACTLY
I agree but they basically put up an all nighter and found the cure to cancer. It didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the movie but it’s a little lazy storywise.
@@vicentesaiso1027 yeah sure
when a Universe where Nano machine
Time travel and space travel exist
them being able to solve that is just hard I guess...
SPOILER
I don't have any problems towards that, but I do feel it's a bit odd that Ned can suddenly do something that was supposed to be practiced for years, even with the "magic hands" line.
Spoiler Alert:
The part about it all being convenient towards the end is true, but you have to take into account that 5 of the the smartest people of the planet at the time were working on the project.
Also magic, enough said.
Bruh. Tom Peter was just annoyingly stupid, careless and dumb in this movie. His idiocracy and immaturity literally were the reason for this film's plot, and that was just terrible writing.
@@carokann4244 It's almost like he's a kid or something.

You could say it was a McRide
@@mazebean956 i McRode your mother

1.no way home
2. homecoming
3. far from home
homecoming and ffh are both good movies but wouldn’t watch them again, i’ll definitely watch this one again some time
@@cranid98 I’d watch homecoming again
The part where Willda Emfoe showed up and said "You're something of a scientist yourself," really came out of left field, but I'm glad they were brave enough to do it.
coward enough to not do it
Wasn’t it “I can help you, I’m something of a scientist myself”
when Wilda started doing scientific research on where the fluid comes out of Peter, it made me gladly stunned.
It blew my mind when Willem Dafoe said that I laughed so hard
When electro said "yo MJ u tryna hold this longy shlongy " then starts beatboxing dubstep. That was a masterpiece

Yeah sandman didn’t really need a big motivator. Dude just wanted to get home. Also it’s good to know that his daughter didn’t die from her disease.
yeah they should have put topher venom and maybe even change his looks like they did with electro, that guy was more menacing sandman was just there
@@marceloaguirree nope venom is already there so it would be useless
Yeah he was just kind of there by the end of the movie
@@vibez2806 nope not that venom, the other venom who actually wants to kill spiderman. Hardy venom is more like a hero
That part when Dr. Strange knocked out Peter then Tbags him multiple times while staring directly into MJ's eyes was insane!!
I wanted to see more of him, I think his line about consequences to Peter in the middle of that beatdown by the goblin was pretty impactful.
I feel like conners character was not given much respect tbh. I thought was interesting in TASM but in this hes a joke/throw away character. Idk if the actor was limited on time or something
The lizard is definitely top 5 in spideys rosters they did an awesome job with him in nwh and tasm
He was pretty terrifying in TASM1. The scene where Peter puts webs up in the sewers to bait him out by vibrations on the webs was genius and suspenseful
I liked that he was the one that lured MJ and Ned out of the apartment to the scaffolding, setting up Peter 3's heroic moment. Proper writing lads!
He also made his own suit with out any special tech
@@flareyboi9064 there were some contradictions along the way. But this kind of cements it. Hopefully they don’t get rid of the spell done in mj and Ned in the next movie.
That awkward moment where it takes 3 movies and 2 other spidermen to get to a point that should've been made by the end of the first movie...
@@spazz8682 You’re right. They should’ve just done the exact same thing they already did twice so you can bitch about that instead
