    EMDs have their own advantages.yes its right that GE has come up with far better and advance technologies but despite i think the noise problem is much more in GEs than EMDs as I've workd in these locos..

      Yes I also not agree with noise thing GE slightly silent than ALCO but still Noisy than EMDs
      I think it is more to do with how exhaust is designed even GE and ALCO both 4 stroke they do not sound exactly same
      Their 4 Stoke chugging sound is diffrent

    for the same size (displacement and cylinders) 2 stroke engine will generate more power as there is 1 powerstroke every 2 strokes vs 1 powerstroke every 4 strokes in the case of 4 stroke engines.

    Excellent. Now finally EMD locomotives production Has been stopped in India. in upcoming days we will See more Electric locomotives and WDG-4G and WDG-6G (GE) Diesel locomotives. Below I mentioned last Emd locomotives Built by Diesel locomotive works Varanasi (DLW) in India

    ALCO Locomotive bhi 4stroke engine hai. Toh kya ALCO Locomotive kuch modification kr....paise ki bachat nahi ki jaa sakti?

      Unfortunately, ALCo technology used in their Locomotives is old. There is a reason why the manufacturing of ALCos stopped after WDM3D.

    EMD is ELECTROMOTIVE DIVISION by GEneral Motors.
    ALCo is American Locomotive Division by ALCo till 1990's, then-to GE after multiple Bankcrupcy filing it ultimately became GE Diesel Under Wabtec Company.

    Most of the reasons he explained in the video are theoritical, not practical reasons.
    Aur fresh air fuel burn gases k sath mix hona yeh 2 stroke petrol engine me hota hai, 2 stroke diesel engine me nahi.
    Example - ekbar GE loco aur EMD loco dono ka samne jake noise check karna, kaunsa loco jyada noise produce karta hai khud pata chal jayega.

    Mai 2019 me Chhat Puja ke subah wale arag wale in apne 3 friends ke sath Power Grid ka exam dene ke liye Kalyani Shilpanchal gya tha. Subah me Shaktipunj Express se Howrah pahunchne ke baad humne Bandel Jn. ke liye local pakdi. Fir Bandel Jn pr thik se achhe se pata kia ki next memu sidha kalyani jayegi ya bich me kahi change krna hoga. Even ki ticket lete time counter pr,station pr TT se, kuchh passengers se, local venders se bhi.puri tarah se confirm hone ke baad hamne memu pakda. Par memu Naihati Jn. Ke baad fir Bandel return hone lagi,fir hmara dimag ghoomana,fir hmne sath ke passenger se puchata to usne bola ki apko yahan utar ke change krna tha.
    Fir hmne ek station pehle Garifa station pr utar kr Naihati ki taraf jaa rhi Maa Tara Exp ko pakad kr Naihati pahuche to TT ne hame foot over bridge se notice kr lia tha.Next platform pr train pakdne ke liye bridge pr gye to TT ne game pakad lia.waha pr 2TT the.jo thoda aged TT tha wo thoda gentle v tha. Par jawan wala bahut garam tha. Wo hamari ek baat nhi sune hm jo bole ,admit card ,college I'd card.wo to Sidha Rs500 per head ka fine dene ko bol rha tha. Mujhe railways ke rules pata the to Maine use bataya ki aap galat fine le the to wo aur gussa ho gya. Jab hmne bola ki hum fine nhi denge to eo hame GRP ke paas le jane ko bolna laga to mai darr gya. Mera dost Avinash wo pehle v without ticket GRP ke paas Dhanbad jn. Me gya hai .waha kuchh hota nhi hai. Wo bass 1.5-2hr baitha kr rakhte hai darate psychological Darr banate hai. To Avinash mujhe hath se ishara kr rha tha ki fine nhi dena hai.but GRP ke naam se mai darr gya kyuki ye mera 1st time tha.is wajah se ham tino ko Rs500 ka fine dena padate receipt me Rs250 ya Rs350 ka mila isme confusion hai parr Rs500 ka receipt nhi tha.Agar mai nhi darta to fine nhi deta kyuki hmara exam 2PM se tha aur Naihati me hm lagbhag 10AM the to hamare paas kafi time tha ki hm GRP ke paas jakar v exam centre timely pahuche jate. Sir mera friend Avinash to Dhanbad me GRP se hi Auto ka bhaada Rs20 le liya tha.
    Pura sab mila-jula kr lag rha tha jaise ki Bandel Jn.pr TT, ticket dene wale,local vendors sab aaspas me mile huye the.
    Kitni v hoshiyari planning taiyari se jao pr jab system ko face kro to most of the time hmko hi jhukna padta hai. Bahut kam cases me TT ye other railway karmi galat sabit hota hai.

    You have mixed petrol and diesel 2 stroke engine information, most of the worlds largest diesel engines are 2 stroke, all 2 stroke engines have greater power output than equivalent 4 stroke engine,, a lot of misleading info has been provided in this video, please retract this

    2 stroke engine is more powerful than same size 4 stroke engine, and efficiency is higher in 4 stroke engine.
    EMD weight 126 ton, power output 4500 HP and tractive effort is 540KN.
    GE engine weight 132 ton, power output 4270 HP and tractive effort 544 KN.

      Kyuki DEMU, MEMU aur EMU ke motors hote hai unme locomotive ka use nahi hota hai.. Jis train me loco use hote hai unke driver ko locopliot kehte hai.. Simple!!
