      Hi there!! I used to be afraid to! Jump right in and give it a try! The worst you can do is ruin a zip! No biggie!

    I’m a new subscriber....love your vids! I am learning tons! At some point, would you show your Juki...what you like (or love) about it. Would you recommend it?

    • @AmyLynneDesigns
      @AmyLynneDesigns  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd be happy to! I love everything about my Juki! If you are sewing things similar to what I sew in my videos I highly recommend it! It can sew through so many layers without a hiccup. I also love that I'm able to figure out the tension myself and I no longer freak out when it becomes a bit off. We are told with domestic machines to never touch the bobbin tension, but with an industrial it's ok to mess with it! Also the feet and the bobbin cases and the bobbins are so much cheaper than on a domestic it's crazy!! So to sum it up I'd totally recommend it to anyone!

    Hi. Which Juki do you sew on? I’m assuming it’s an 8700 or 8700H?

      Deenie Young hi there!!!
      I sew on the 8700. And I love it for all the things I sew!

    Where do you get your tassels?? I love them. Just started sewing bags and learned a lot from your videos!!

      I got them on amazon. If you search Amazon for "Suede Tassels" a ton of options pop up! I'm really glad my videos have helped you!

    Love your videos and designs. Thanks for sharing. I have been looking for the leather tassels and they are very expensive to buy in assorted colors. Could you please share your source?

    • @AmyLynneDesigns
      @AmyLynneDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank You so much! Really nice ones can be picked up in the jewelry sections at Joann and Michaels. I wait until there is a sale. The small ones I use I get on Amazon. There are a lot of great options. Do a search for suede tassels and you’ll have your pick! And if I have one that the suede pops out of the Kumihimo cap I use E6000 glue to glue it back in, no biggie. www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZYTMB7C

      Terry DeMars sure! I get my tags from two stores on Etsy. One is Inked Paper. They are US based. inkedpapers's shop on Etsy etsy.me/1aunXoR
      The other is Augie Store and they are based in Argentina. AugieStore's shop on Etsy etsy.me/2jAAZxD

    Is it finished at 5 x 7?

    • @AmyLynneDesigns
      @AmyLynneDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it comes in at 4.5x6.5. But you can easily have it finish out at 5x7 if your cut pieces measure 5.5 x 7.5 and you sew with 1/4" seam allowance.
