Inserting a Zippered Pocket Using My Zipper Template

- I’m inserting a zippered pocket into the lining of my Sunshine Wristlet by Bagstock.
I use a zipper facing template that I created to get the pocket window perfect!
I apologize the template is no longer free. Since Craftsy transitioned to Bluprint and then they announced they were shutting the site down I removed my storefront.

you mentioned in one video you were going to make these templates for #5 zippers, Have you gotten a chance to do that? If so where can I find those?

I would like to add a tiny piping to my zipper frame...would you suggest I make the opening wider than the template to accommodate the piping?
I'd recommend that you go with a #5 Zipper window if using a #3 zipper. That should give enough space.

I get the tape from Tandy Leather. If you are using a domestic machine try out Scor tape on Amazon

How do you make the pocket component with the zipper so that you don’t see the zipper tape inside the pocket?
